LOL. I think they do.
funny
Most UK workers get 28 paid days off a year. So. I think they’ll be just fine.
@ShaneSchrute Exactly, other countries get even more. Perfect response
Besides, some English cousins stayed where they were partly because they got some inheritance or had other advantages. I wish my ancestors had been those cousins with opportunity and I could currently choose to stay in England or check out other countries.
I have not fact checked this myself but I heard somewhere that England’s number one export from the mid 1700s to mid 1800s was Independence Days. 😂
Some of us will be celebrating the US Independence Day tomorrow by frequenting this London-based cuddle site 😅
Lol, Charlie, and may you not have to address a lot of flags and reports.
Lol, John, I barely know enough history and the big pic, but I can tell your comment was funny.
@lonelytauros Lol, that pucker on Benedict's face is so funny. He is such a good actor.
It is true, flags and independence day go together.
Lol, Unscented, I thought of that too.
@johnR1972 - I'm not sure what your curious comment means, but I guess you intended it as a dig at Britain. Actually, it was the 20th century when Britain granted independence to most of its colonies. In the early 20th century, the British Empire covered about one-quarter of the Earth and ruled over 450 million people, a little under one-quarter of the global population. It was the largest empire the world had ever seen.
Now those 2 things are funny, LOL.
@CaptainChaos Celebrating July 4 with an appropriate tea-shirt.
This is all quite entertaining. Glad jubal started this thread.
I'd be pouring out pre-made Lipton regardless. Give me freshly brewed Luzianne or Twinings of London Ceylon Orange Pekoe.
@BJC - it was a good natured dig at my ancestors’ country. My great grandfather and my great grandmother, both born in England, met on a ship coming to the United States many years ago and married shortly after arriving here.
My grandfather on my mothers side immigrated here from Ireland so I have lots of blood lines going back to the UK.
@Jubal - 😂😂 I love it. I have a Captain America headset cap on my gravel bike.
Terry came into this world kicking and screaming, but he's big and strong now and I'm glad he's here! ~ Ruth (Hulk Hogan's mom)
Hey! Just like America!
Generally speaking, the English have a great sense of humor.
Now if it was the Germans... lol.. those people don't play.
I love British humor. Monty Python, Keeping up Appearances, Dave Allen at Large, etc.
😆
I live in the US now so I'm declaring my own independence!
Also I had my first cuddle on here today, with an American, so now our two nations are cuddling after 248 years. 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🥲

For crying out loud 🙄
I knew it was only a matter of time until someone on this thread had to prove Goodwin’s Law YET AGAIN. “As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1”.
This is why we can’t have nice things in this forum.
