Angel Visits

Have you ever had a Dream, Vision, some experience, that you thought was possibly a loved one or guardian angel? Perhaps sending a hello or a message or protection? I love listening to the universe. Excuse the longer post. Read on, if it's your thing 😇 Please share, too!

Driving to work this morning, I turned on the radio wishing to tune in to a song that would mesh with my day. I often do this.
The song "Lonely Boy" by Andrew Gold came on, and every time I hear it, I think of my brother Stefan, whom we lost 25 years ago (shot in the French Quarter). Sometimes I even imagine he's singing at me somehow.

The same summer he died, I was expecting my second child, a boy. Stefan knew he was getting a nephew and he was busy making me a mix tape!! Songs for my delivery room including Kate Bush, This Mortal Coil, and that song "Lonely boy" 🎶

Today in the car the song got right to my soul, 💖 it was him. I parked and listened, and an old penny caught my eye. The date ? 1999. The year my son was born and my brother passed. This very month, 25 years ago.

It was a difficult pregnancy and I wasn't able to travel to my brother's funeral, which I regret to this day. Stefan was so good to me, and I still feel my big brother's love. I can't wait to tell my son (Stefan) his uncle wishes him a happy birthday 🎈

I'm so happy to share this. 🫂

  • That was very sweet to read, thank you 🥹

  • @Auroradream Very sweet as Charlie said but it gave me strange symptoms…my eyes are leaking water. Those you lose suddenly without a good-bye are the toughest and it made me think of my mother who died in a plane crash. I am older than she ever was.

    Nice post.

When my daughter was just starting to talk, she was on her changing table one day and kept saying, "Emil. Emil." Now, Emil was my father's name - she had never met him, he died 16 years before she was born. And I never referred to him by that name, so she wouldn't have known it. I think my dad came back to see his baby granddaughter.

Yes, when my twins were newborns I had 3 dreams. The 1st one was to tell me one of the twins was going to fall off the bed and hit his head (the slept in the bed with me that night so I can finally get some sleep). I woke up to use the bathroom and looked at them sound asleep, 1 month old not even able to crawl but I still put them on the corner near the wall. Went to use the bathroom really fast and bam! One hit the floor!!! I couldn’t believe it!! How!?! A few months later when they were able to sit up I had a dream that the ceiling fan was going to fall down on the baby and was told to check it when I wake up. I checked it and it was loose so I called my dad in the room to tighten it (baby was playing on the mat on the floor) when he came in with a screwdriver the ceiling fan fell down and I grabbed the baby in a split second. It came crashing down and glass shattered where they were playing. A year later I had another dream that I was going to be in a nasty accident when leaving the intersection near my home. When I got to the intersection my light turned green for me to turn but I waited and a Mustang sped thru their red light!!! Haven’t really had any dreams like that since then.

  • I channel with different spirits usually. Usually the hardest to connect with are my family.

Not uplifting so wrapping in a spoiler tag:

I had made a friend at work back when I was in high school. He introduced me to some music and we would sing them while we worked (more angsty music as we cleaned people’s trash they left behind in the movie theatre 😅). One night I asked him if he would cover my shift so I could take my parents to see a movie (The Patriot). He of course did, and then on his way home fell asleep behind the wheel and died. I mostly grew out of that type of music but I occasionally put those songs on that we’d sing and just cry. I never felt like he was there singing with me though. I just felt guilty for asking him to cover my shift.

Anyone reading this, please don’t respond to this in the thread cause I don’t want to take comments away from the original post. If you had something similar to share you can reach out privately.

  • @Auroradream Oh my gosh! How magical! I also love listening to the universe. 💖

  • I truly believe that crows carry the souls of loved ones to heaven especially pets that have passed I know pets aren't people--but they are close. Out of a small flock---every time a "loved one passes"---I always see a special crow that separates from the flock looking at me almost to tell me --they are going to be OK. Sounds nuts--but a am I The encounters are always unique and different than normal crow encounters and view our brief conversations as special!

  • @BriiBrii wow that's crazy!

@Auroradream I believe. Thanks for sharing that story. Sorry about your brother. I'm glad he's still around for you though.

Not exactly the same, but I made a short film called Gauzehead a few years back. The woman I cast in the lead role ordered some stuff on Amazon. And placed in her box was a roll of gauze that she didn't order. It just wound up there somehow. Of course we used it on set. I took it as encouragement from beyond. I need encouragement, so it was kinda like an angel or helper of sorts.

Absolutely! I don't wish to share my story at this time, but there is certainly a connection of some kind between our world... and that world.

Perhaps one day it will be understood more widely, and not remain so esoteric.

  • I love these replies! Thanks so much for sharing ☺️
It's not surprising at all to know that some CC friends have that voice, sense, vision, connection, what ever you choose to call it.
    Angels on Earth! 🙏🏻😇🫂

Last week when I was on vacay in CA, I think grandma visited me. She's not my bio grandma, but rather my godmom's mom and she passed in that house. I was falling asleep...but there was some whispering in my right ear as if only a foot away at most. I couldn't make out most of it, but I did make out my name 3 times very clearly. My godmom was asleep at that time on the couch cuz I heard her snoring. I was a little spooked because the voice was almost in my ear, so I didn't open my eyes. I just asked grams to please come back after sunrise 😅. Then it got quiet right after.

  • Oh yes, they are everywhere. Unfortunately we were taught not to see as adults. Remember all the things you could see or know as a child?
I had to reteach myself to believe over the years. I choose not to think any possible signs are coincidence and life is much more fun. Looking at the clock at 11:11 and 1:11 every day.
Having "our song" come on the radio, then when the song is over I change the station and the song starts again. Spirit Cuddles! 😁

  • However, the California Angels are bad…really bad.

    (Sports joke)

  • @AimeeJ I absolutely relate to that inner child who believes and sees and knows. She's my bestie 🥳

  • This has always been a favorite of mine. It speaks to me in a way only tangentially related to this thread.

I've always visualized these couples--soulmates--dancing together slowly, purposefully, moving gradually towards the misty fog in the background, eventually traversing the barrier between this world and the other.

Hello. You have both requested communication between the two of you to cease on the forums so a gag order is in effect. A note will be added to both accounts to indicate this, in case either of you need to reach out to the mods regarding the other not respecting this request. This has no negative effect on either of your accounts. I wish you both well and hope this helps to resolve the struggles you have been dealing with on the forum. Please respect each other’s request and if either feels a comment is a personal attack, it will be removed and continued violations may require further action to be taken. Thank you.

  • @CharlieBear Thank you so much, I can finally post in peace.

  • auroa--I know you have been though a lot---best wishes

  • ANGEL Visit part two:
    (goes with OP story)

Again, I was in the car. I was collecting tiny bits of trash, like gum wrappers. I spy another old looking coin. Not 1999, the year my son was born and his uncle died, but this time over 50 years old, a 1971 penny. A small shiver runs through me...my first husband, the father of my beautiful kids, was born in that year and he passed over two years ago.
So it was a dumb old coin yeah but then I focus on the song playing...it's also from 1971--DonMcClean's American Pie. (the day the music died)
I'll be sure to tell my son that Dad wishes them a Happy birthday 🎈

I have experienced premonitory dreams, visions, angel encounters, and an empathic NDE.

I'll share a couple. I dreamt my sister was pregnant and had a boy. She called me the next day and said Guess what? I said, you're pregnant! She was very surprised because she is a very private person and didn't even tell anyone she was trying. Throughout her pregnancy she insisted she was having a girl. This was even confirmed via ultrasound. I insisted she would have a boy. She did! Had to redo her nursery.

Another time I was driving to work and a voice said quite plainly, get in the other lane. I was surprised but I did it. Up over the next hill, there was a large ladder lying across the lane I had been in. The car behind me hit the ladder and flipped over into the embankment. I stopped and called 911. Luckily no one was hurt.

These are just a couple, I've had dozens of similar experiences.

  • OMG that is amazing

I lost my wife to cancer in 2005 when she was just 23 years old. Two days after her passing, I saw her in my dream. Granted, I don't dream often. I was having a conversation with her in the dream. She basically said that heaven was not what you think it is. It left me confused and curious at the same time. She came to me in a few dreams over the years, but I would never see her in the dreams. She would always sit by my side and we would have conversations. I just wanted to share this with the group.

  • @GentleGiant77 what a beautiful share 💖

  • So I lost my mom in 21.
After a bad break up I had moved back home I grew super close with my mom. Our long conversations, love for art, music, and nature. One thing we would always do is bird watch. So I was always filling the bird feeders an anytime a new bird would show up she yell for me, so here I come with my bird books looking up the bird. Our favourite was the wild turkeys. I'd throw feed out for them an I tell you what those sucker's are big especially when you have 20 in your yard lol.
The great blue heron was always a special sight we would both get excited about.
My mom was spiritual an into the native beliefs
So after she passed things have been hard losing my sister as well and work friend an other stuff.
But it always seems like on the worst days ever I'll just happen look up an see a blue heron flying through the sky.
Almost like a hey you been through so much crap already you can get through this, little friendly reminder from my mom. Especially considering I live in the city now, so you don't typically expect to see herons. Of course I could be logical and explain it away. But I still think it's my mom just giving me a sign.
