I would love to hear more about your most enjoyable experiences of cuddling, and what 3 things you appreciate the most in those experiences!

Here are some things that I've heard others share:

  • nurture and comfort
  • sense of mutual understanding
  • affection and care
  • expression of desire and intimacy
  • a sense of being appreciated and cherished
  • experiencing emotional depth through touch
  • a sense of safeness and reassurance
  • playfulness and excitement

For me it's definitely the sense of safeness and reassurance

  • I don't feel alone

  • Affection and being close to someone

  • tears of sentimental relief.......................

The heaviness, the closeness, the feeling of FINALLY getting to be the "Little Spoon," after spending so much time being the "Big" one..

  • Guys love being the big spoon

And you're GOOD at it, too!! THAT IS THE WHOLE REASON I JOINED WITH SUCH HOPE..

In the presence of a WILLING "Big Spoon," I can FINALLY relax my Life's armoring, trusting that my Big has it, and is on guard, keeping an eye on things so I can decompress!!! Missing it, over here! lol

Being so close to another person 😌 appreciating our existence together in that moment 💗 taking in their warmth, energy and presence.

  • Eye contact, intimate closeness, comfort in quietude

  • Comfort, and the feeling of being wanted

  • All of the above.

The affection and care, the sense that someone cares for my soul rather than what benefit they get from me. Tenderness and gentleness for a change.

  • that I cannot longer see my toes

  • that I cannot longer see my toes

@dennis22554 That calls for an elaboration.

  • I assume every one ate dinner---so out of respect--I refrain

  • @dennis22554 I was wondering if it was like a Looper-like situation.

  • lost on the looper comment--but I am always lost

  • The second sigh
The first one is preliminary. It's the "Finally! Schedules worked out, stars aligned cuddles!"
But that second one, where you fill your lungs more than you expected and exhale the weight of the world. Extra points if you both do it at the same time. That's the good stuff right there.

Just being so close to another person. It’s so comforting and warm. :)

  • For me, cuddles are a wonderful way to be very present in the moment. Sharing that contentment with another person can create that special "make the world disappear" energy 🫂
    But also, the feeling lasts!

    Disclaimer: These are my opinions
When a cuddle happens, the conditions of the cuddle are what we focus on, comment on, pay for, remember.

But the thing that has lasting spiritual value is what is created in that moment. You really are completing a circuit. Whatever it is, mentally can be called up at any time and pondered. Like a muse.

Helps in creating music, painting, even software.

  • I can connect with all the above choices. One of the biggest is emotional connection via touch. It has helped me ground before. It can also be fun, depending who the partner is. Definitely reassurance. Mutual understanding, what comes to mind is both needing that type of touch at the same time. It is definitely nurturing and comforting.

  • I agree totally. If u are both comfortable with the way the cuddles are going, then great

  • I love the feeling if closeness, the bond I'd trust that forms, and just being able to breathe easy, and my pain usually subsides enough to be comfortable. I have also noticed after a cuddle I don't have my usual nightmares at night, so yeah I think it's safe to say everyone needs to cuddle more. It truly is a magical and healing experience.

  • What You Savour Most when Cuddling

The company (in general) of said cuddler, is what I savour the most. Someone to sit and chitchat with, while watching a movie comfortably embraced in each other's arms.😊

  • The brief feeling that another person could see me as a human being.
Super depressing to admit that of course, but it's true. Touch is comparatively easy to find, so is attention, praise, even physical comfort if you're willing to take the risks and dance the dance to get them, but what you can't buy is to be seen, really seen as a person. Not just a thing to be enjoyed, not a means to some selfish end, not a resource to be exploited, not a tool, or a pretty possession to be caged and controlled...just seen, humanized, and treated like an equal, just for a moment.

  • Wouldn’t both of these somewhat “violate” the “platonic rules of engagement” here?

     * expression of desire and intimacy
     * playfulness and excitement

Ironically, these are the two I “savor” most. (And why I’m seeking enthusiasts, rather than Pros.)

I personally cannot achieve these two -fully- when the precursor was paying someone to essentially do a job.

When I’m cuddling with my partner, the emotional reward and connection comes from us -both- knowing it was -mutual- desire and excitement to spend time together and get to know each other. (Without outside motivation like financial reward.)

IMHO, you can’t pay for that. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • @MRyanNYC Let's be honest, what you are looking for is exactly what most people are looking for in vanilla dating apps. So then I ask, why are you here instead? There must be more to this.
