It's one thing to ask for advice on how to deal with a certain situation, but to vent on a forum against would-be clients or just to openly complain in general seems counterproductive. For example, I would not request to cuddle someone if I know ahead of time what a negative vibe lies under the facade of what I was hoping to be a caring individual. Both pros and clients give ourselves away on the forums, some in a positive way, but others not so positive.

In my opinion, both cuddling for $ as well as cuddling without the physical connection are both unnatural, going against one's natural instincts. The resulting consequences of going against nature are to be expected. It's the exception rather than the rule to be one who restrains himself and/or is completely satisfied on a forever basis with only cuddling. (For the record, I do agree that those on CC seeking other than platonic cuddling not be on this site).

Regarding the reading or not reading profiles, I dont know about anyone else, but I always read the profiles.

Besides that, though, the interchange on these forums is stress-inducing, but I guess that's how entertainment works and keeps us coming back for more! 🤣

  • @calineur thank you for that last sentence because i keep asking myself the same question. I couldn't figure out why.

  • Honestly, I do feel that skin-to-skin has been a signal for looking for a sex worker. And sexworkers on here will do the same to find those clients. Its that key words and the questions of asking if a cuddler will wear a tank top and shorts….

  • @theCuddleDrgn

asking if a cuddler will wear a tank top and shorts….

I’ve been on this site for 9 years and my experience has been that most pros wear a tank top and shorts. It’s not against the rules. I don’t think that in and of itself is a problem.

  • There are also sites to look for a girlfriend….i think its a strange request to try to convert a touch therapist to a partner/girlfriend, but its definitely common. Thats why i specify, non-romantic and platonic!!! Because trying to throw romance in when this is supposed to be a healing experience….just complicates everything. The same reason its inappropriate to date your actual talk therapist, its inappropriate to date a touch therapist. And that touch therapist should loose their credibility and access to offer services. Its just, theres no stopping someone from just making another account again….

  • I think the admins/mods use a word search technology for keywords, like skin to skin, and certain clothing names to weed out those people.

    @theCuddleDrgn

this is supposed to be a healing experience

I don’t think we can say across the board it’s a healing experience. It is for some. For me, it’s not a healing experience, it’s more just relaxation.

    touch therapist

    Pro cuddlers aren’t therapists.

  • @Morpheus sure some people are fine with that, but my argument was the key word, skin-to-akin and the requests combined usually are a slight signal for a sex worker. I understand wearing a tank top and shorts works for people, but if someone gets angry because thats not something you do….thats a red flag, which has been the reaction everytime whenever I have communicated this with people. Its one thing for a cuddler to wear shorts because its comfortable, its another for a cuddler to request it and throw a tantrum if its not what someone is comfortable with. Respecting boundaries are the number one reason this experience is platonic and a sign that the experience is platonic.

  • @Morpheus i think relaxation is a step for healing. Also, for a cuddlist certification, they actively use the term touch therapist. Also, whats wrong with using that term? Cuddling is done for psychological benefits, people may slightly differ in the ways they need to benefit, but it's all in the same umbrella nonetheless.

  • There was a time when requesting skin to skin wasn’t a big deal or requesting the pro wear something in particular wasn’t a big deal but things like that have been so vilified that I don’t even think about asking. I love skin to skin contact, I think there is a stronger spiritual connection in skin to skin contact. Things are what they are though and as I said, I don’t even think about asking although as I said, most pros seem to wear tank top and shorts. I’m also in Southern California wear it’s warm. Maybe it’s different in colder weather regions.

Some people are predatory/disrespectful to varying levels, and unfortunately don't give a damn*. I'd try not to let them live rent free in your head. Though I'm sorry you had to go through that too, I can understand how frustrating that can be.

  • edited July 2024

@Morpheus again its okay for people do want that but trust me its a combination of terms.

Its utilizing the choice…skin to skin, massages, dates/going out, and requesting someone wear something specific. And then getting mad or they are not a “good fit” if it’s not what someone does. If someone is here for relaxation or healing or whatever….then why does what someone want to wear along with not giving massages matter?

  • edited July 2024

@Lovelight lol you are so right :)

  • I didn't know that about the term skin to skin, i wouldn't cuddle if there wasn't some skin to skin, just assume it goes hand in hand with a cuddle.

  • @BashfulLoner exactly! I think that skin to skin is kind of a given, and inevitable, but when someone specifically requests it…thats weird. Combined with other terms I mentioned, then yeah, they want a sex worker lol

  • @BashfulLoner
my experience with cuddlers saying they want skin to skin is ultimately they care to remove their shirt and me remove mine. I don't dig it.

  • Its just, when people are trying to sound “platonic” and they aren’t this is how they sneak through the banning and reporting. They just use these key words to find the person they want, offering sex work, and looking for it. Its not really a once sided problem, its a community of people that snuck their way in here.

  • The focus always seems to me to be on men/clients and blanket statements are always made. I just want to make sure this that it’s said this is a two way street and there are plenty of pros on this site that allow and partake in inappropriate behavior. I’m not excusing men who are out here looking for it but again, it’s a two way street.

  • @Morpheus totally agree! And thats actually one of my main points. I just bring up the terms because its the language used in the market. And the market is being accessed on here.

  • edited July 2024

I was hesitant of bringing up these terms and calling out this behavior, but f it!!! There are platforms for sex work! Sex workers need to go there! The same with their clients. I understand times a tough, but sex workers and sex work seekers on here are making it harder for legitimate cuddlers.

but my argument was the key word, skin-to-a kin

Yeah, incestual stuff is not permitted here.

  • I have no control over others. I can only control myself. I respect my own boundaries which are respectful to others. People who try to do more I ask a question. Why don’t you respect yourself more? You saw several times this is platonic. I’ve said it multiple times. People usually apologize at this point.

  • I look at lot of profiles, actually read the entire things, [ some way to long ] and I must say the term skin to skin is rare, maybe under 5% the tank top and shorts is standard it seems

@writergf Reporting cuddlers who offer far more than cuddling I have found to be a waste of time. If you notice many of those who have dozens of karmas will say something like" I can't wait to see her again", yet there are no "repeats". I have been on and off this site for a decade for that reason. I come back and they are still there. CC is obviously more interested in getting a one-time commission from new clients than keeping the "pros" off the site who book everything after the initial cuddle on their own. The site has replaced Backpage in many cities, unfortunately. I highly doubt Vegas is the exception. For what it is worth, other cuddling sites are far worse when it comes to escorts.

@Lifeluvr I can't speak for the mods, but they are not going to bounce a pro based on one person's complaint. In those cases, they look for a pattern of behavior. And if men generally do not report pros, then they won't find it. (Let's face it, if you report a pro for inappropriate behavior, she can turn around and say you were pushing boundaries and got angry when she said no. In a mod's place, how would you handle that?)

.I recently had to deal with this situation. While most people may prefer skin-to-skin contact, I'm not comfortable with that. When I have clearly stated my boundaries, and if someone tries to push or cross them, I refuse to continue the session. People who disrespect my boundaries are not worth my time, and they will have to find someone else to work with.

  • Yeah like Facebook Marketplace-endless tirekickers and time wasters

  • @BrionC So, it's like some folks here are just like window shoppers on Facebook Marketplace. My first client bailed halfway through our session without even giving it a shot. I only got half of what I was expecting to make. But I guess better then nothing

  • @SheaBear36
Sorry that happened to you. Did you not get the total cost of the session up front, before it started? Of course I don’t know what caused your session to end early, you should’ve already been paid the full amount.

  • @SheaBear36

I have clearly stated my boundaries

I looked at your profile and don’t see any specifics about boundaries. I would put something in there which a lot of pros do. I’m not saying this is a fix all but at least you’d be putting it out there in your profile.

The client that you’re speaking of, did he break any rules that are listed in the client service agreement or did he say he was ending the session for other reasons that don’t violate the client service agreement?

Like @g_w_t_w said, you should have collected full payment and is he broke a rule and made you feel uncomfortable, you have every right to end the session and as far as I know, don’t owe him a refund.

Also, did you report him to the mods? If not, do you know how to? We can teach you.
