  • Always update your profile and maybe even add it to your pictures, but just know, there will always be a huge amount that do not read your profile no matter how short and concise it is….

  • I try to update my profile with my availability two weeks out as much as possible.

  • @SheaBear36 you are new, so just wait. The volume of crappy messages will slowly start to decline. Some new professionals find that enquiries temporarily dry up completely after a few months.

Keep experimenting with your profile. And yes, include a section with availability. It won't stop all the idiot enquiries - they don't read profiles - but it should help a bit. And as @Sheena123 suggests, if there is a big simple thing, say you don't do Tuesdays, make a text image to that effect and put it in your photos.

Don't bother posting routine availability on the Pro Requests board, save that for major events like trips.

  • A Pro in my area maintains a very clear and professional profile.

She has an easy-to-read, color-coded calendar in her photos clearly showing which days she is available.

  • Oh, love that. I’m realizing that I don’t do this and it may be something to implement for myself.

  • Hmmm that might be a good idea. prolly cant link it to like an img off site with HTML at least on the profile?

No, can’t link to off-site photos. It would be nice, I use Calendly that allows me to give people a link to my Google calendar availability in real time (and no, you can’t see the appointments - that was my question as well, only available times). I use it for my non-cuddle job. But I totally see why it can’t be used here on this site. Too easy to bypass the pay wall and poach clients. Photo links would take some thought, but have the same vulnerability. I think I will try updating my availability for two weeks every week.

  • I just simply tell potential clients that my schedule is flexible and ever changing.
