For the extreme horror fans ⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️

I found this on Reddit and just had to share it😂

  • Isn't this basically FNAF?

  • FNAF?

    Its most definitely NSFW

It just seems like a more gory version of it to me.

  • Oh wow 😂😂😂 just in time for spooky season

  • HA! 😆
Love it, thanks for sharing that! 👍

@awildtigerlily Perhaps but with a different storyline, I enjoy horror movies featuring animatronic Showbiz Pizza/Chuck E Cheese type characters turned baddies. I even think of Willy's Wonderland as a guilty pleasure horror movie. 😁

Lol. My aunt til this day loves to tease me about how scared I was of one of the characters at Showbiz Pizza (it's been changed to Chuck E Cheese forever now 😁🍕) back in the day. Lol
I have no memory of that, so I had to have really young then. She says that I would cry 🥺 every time said character approached our table. 😆😆😆

Perhaps that's why I enjoy horror movies featuring such outdated 80s robotic theme characters. 🤔😆

  • As I look back through Google looking at these old photos of these Showbiz Pizza/Chuck E Cheese animatronic characters, I can see why I was crying as a small child. Lol! 😆
They were rather "frightening" to look at back then, but they're long gone now...😆😆

  • @Katota thanks for sharing Willy’s Wonderland 👀

  • @Katota I see. Didn't realize there was so much literature/media about rogue animatronics. Also, you would never catch me in a place like Chuck E Cheese. Loved the whole arcade part of it, but I had nightmares about characters like Barney and the Teletubbies, so a giant humanoid rat suit would definitely be a no-go lol.

@MajesticMango Thanks for sharing this, adding it to the reading list. Hopefully it doesn't give me nightmares haha...

@awildtigerlily With Google, you find out about most things (or rather just about anything) these days! 😁

Pretty sure, I wasn't the only screaming child that graced places like Showbiz Pizza/Chuck E Cheese at the height of their popularity. Lol! 😆
I just don't have any literary talent to make a profitable living like others do! 🤑👍

    😁

Understand, I didn't have much of a "choice" back in the 80s/90s of WHERE we were going for child friendly entertainment back then. I blame my mother and other adults for that one, but they saw and loved the tv commercials with the old "where a kid can be a kid" slogan and BAM! Showbiz Pizza it is! 🍕😁

    Lol

  • @MajesticMango You are welcome, thank you for posting this. So I looked up Cuddle Buddies, so is it just a book right now?
    😊

Is it a movie, yet? Or in the works of becoming a movie?🤞😊

@Katota Oh, the nostalgia. Haven't seen that commercial since I was a small child watching Saturday morning cartoons.

I just looked up Showbiz pizza and I'm kind of glad it rebranded before I was born. It's weird because I'm fine with stuff like Alien Isolation, Resident Evil, and other "obviously" scary stuff. Something about that suit style just give me the shivers. 😬

  • @awildtigerlily the Oompa Loompas from the original Willy Wonka gave me nightmares. They terrified me, I finally built up the courage to watch it in high school when my winter guard (color guard) team did a routine over Willy wonka and I was an Oompa Loompa. It’s one of my favorite movies now. Read the book and was mildly disappointed when I read the songs and thought the movie would’ve been 10% better if they used the songs from the book.

@Katota just a book. Most of the books that are shared on the subreddit are from self publishing authors trying to get their books out. Godless.com is where most of them release their books AND most of them are less than a dollar.

  • Love all of this! 🎃❤️

Mind you, I'm much too scared to watch Five nights at Freddy's or even Nic Cage's movie (I started it, but had to stop 😂), but it's a cool idea!

This thread also reminds me of the song Radioactive....with the stuffies that come alive and hack up other ones! 🫣

    It's prolly like @Katota said....Chuck E. Cheese ruined me 😔😜

Oh, HELL YEAH! This is right up my alley!

@StarCaptSilas i love horror and extreme horror books 🫣 I plan on building a coffin shape bookshelf for all my horror books. It’s going to be so cute 🎀

  • I bought a projector and a set of LED lights to go around the screen last thing I need is the now showing sign for movie nights,

My horror and extreme horror books I’ve acquired from this year.

I’m always on the hunt for Jack’s book, most popular for The Girl Next Door. His readers have very high expectations and man does he deliver. Definitely was never expecting to find one of his books in person due to how extreme they are but hey, Half Price Books struck gold.

This book (the summer I died) is getting turned into a movie and I’m very much excited to see the adaptation of it. Very gruesome book but the last sentence of the book killed me. Had my heart racing and at the edge of my seat

Wow this one has several trigger warnings and theres absolutely no turning back to the person you use to be after you’re done with this book. I loved how the story was brought in, you have sympathy for the main character right from the start and it carries until the very end. It became very popular on Reddit and after reading it, I get why.

Richard Laymon is probably one author who has helped path the way of extreme horror along with Edward Lee. I read this book (no sanctuary) while car camping at 3am and geez, I was scared to sleep due to this book.
This book (a short stay in hell) is by far one of my favorites reads of this year. It’s absolutely amazing and I just loved how everything transpired. I highly recommend this one to not just horror fans but to anyone who isn’t easily offended by poking at religion.

  • There's still a Chuck-E-Cheese in my neighborhood! They don't have the animatronics but a walking furry in a Chuck E. costume. Sometimes. Parents take their kids there because you can drink beer while the kids run around LMFAO. The pizza is sooo bad

There’s 44 days until Halloween. Why not share 44 books to countdown to my favorite holiday.

I will not mention the ones I’ve previously mentioned in this thread 🧵

    First one.

  • Uzumaki by Junji Ito. All of his books scar me

  • Went with a classic for 42.

By the way, 42 days away from Halloween 🎃

  • 41 days until Halloween 🎃

I went with another timeless classic for todays pick

An honorable mention that I almost went with instead of this pick, Tampa. Lolita being of a similar caliber of Tampa.

  • my latest horror manga. Super excited Tp dig into this story

  • [Deleted User]enigma81 (deleted user)

My top horror books. Are all the Zombie fallout, Indian Hill, Lycan Fallout, Dystance, Timothy series by Mark Tufo. The Deadlocked Series by A.R Wise. Slow Burn series by Bobby Adair.

  • @MajesticMango thank you for All the great source material. This reminds me a little bit of the horror Movie series puppetmaster.

The one thing I find hilarious about cuddle buddies. The book is the creator in the blurb says i his name is Mark. Which is also the creator of this website.

  • @enigma81 I HAVE THE TIMOTHY SERIES ON MY TBR LIST!!

@brownglucose the only manga I’ve opened up was Berserk, I know it’s only the tip of the iceberg but I guess I should dip my toes into horror mangas 👀

    @Bear dun Dunn dunnnn

  • [Deleted User]enigma81 (deleted user)

@MajesticMango let me know what you think when you finish. :)

  • It’s not a proper horror thread without the king himself…
