There have been several posts focusing on the best cuddler, karma, etc and I respect individuals who receive positive recognition …. It is well deserved and they should be proud! But, when judging a member as the best in a particular, I think one important metric is being overlooked. Is the member truly genuine? I’ve noted in the forums, on more than one occasion, there are members that are “wolves in sheep's clothing” that will say all the right things to fit into a forum discussion but, in real life they are nothing like the image they portray in the forums. Having the most in one category doesn’t always reflect a complete picture!
I actually think CC has a metric that is under utilized when it comes to judging, FRIENDS. Not every cuddle session results in friendship, but when they do it's something special! The number of KARMA comments a person collects is misleading in some cases because the category doesn’t use weighted metrics. For example, is a CC member that only has a few karma comments because she/he only books a few repeat clients any less special than one that has 200 comments–I’m not so sure. I have a enthusiast friend who has zero karma comments and only one friend that is one of the most special people on the planet, pours her passion in very selectively, if she were a professional she could easily have hundreds of karma comments as a professional, but is shy and it’s a path she didn’t want to choose.
Once again, my post is not intended to take away the special recognition of those members who have hundreds of positive comments–they are truly special people. It’s just food for thought when judging fellow members. I think every professional member on the site deserves recognition for the self sacrifice they display just being on the site. I completely understand that CC is a business—and not a friendship or dating platform but it's really nice when you can encounter someone on the site forming a platonic friendship or something more. CC is a site where many genuine people reside, and it’s really nice when you encounter one. Your thoughts?
