@achetocuddle thank you. Years ago when I was living in PA I was dumping some leaves at the end of our street where we all dumped such things. In the middle of the biodegradable heap was this flower. I dug it up and plant it at my house. 😊
That is terrific and I would have done the same thing. I thought it looked like home cultivation done by an individual as opposed to commercial planting. I like the history of that flower. The foliage makes me think it is a spring bloomer. The detail in that pic is wonderful.
