Do you feel comfortable cuddling anybody? Do you need to know people well before you cuddle?
Generally speaking it certainly helps as I would not want to cuddle with anybody who I otherwise wouldn't want to be friends or spend one on one time with, and its hard to know those things without getting to know the person first.
No and no.
What TxTom said.
Do you feel comfortable cuddling anybody?
@cm021015 That depends on who that anybody is, and whether or not they're safe (as well as their being accepting and understanding of what PLATONIC actually means) to cuddle with.😊
Many tend to ignore the "P word" here on Cuddle Comfort.😉
Do you need to know people well before you cuddle?
Like @pmvines said, it does certainly help to put in effort of getting acquainted before cuddling, which is what I do as an Enthusiast.😊 Talking to me, perhaps meeting elsewhere publicly first to getting acquainted before taking the next step to cuddle would be wise.😁
I definitely first read that as leaving the P off ... and I was thinking "What is latonic?" 😅
All I need is a willing warm body and I’m good
@Morpheus
Might wanna specify breathing there too.
A "warm body" implies that it is still alive, and hence, still breathing.
Good on you, Morpheus, for having such high standards.
But do you not need your cuddler to have functioning neurons and dendrites so you can discuss with her the latest white papers on foreign entanglements and other current events around the world?
I would.
@TxTom
No
@TxTom I echo @Morpheus's shallowness lol
I don't need to know someone awfully well persay, I need to have some interaction and a general impression of them, but if I think I've gotten a good vibe then I'm pretty amicable and trusting
I’ve cuddled every type of person Imaginable and I just like to learn through conversation, anything about them that they want to share. But sometimes we are complete opposites in opinion, We don’t have to agree, that’s OK too. I find it all fascinating. As long as they’re nice, respectful and smell good. Emphasis on learning something new We don’t have to agree. Well, that’s just how I see it. I like to keep it peaceful, lighthearted, and enjoyable 🤗🤗🤗
I like to chat some beforehand, get an idea of what their interests are, build rapport, find common ground to chat, etc. Some people on here are quite interesting.
I prefer to take the time to talk with someone for a bit before I cuddle them. I want to be sure we are both comfortable and compatible. I feel that isn't too unreasonable
@TeddyCuddle45 Of course that’s not unreasonable. Isn’t that what most people do here? Even Pros hopefully are chatting a bit & screening. IMO No one should complain too much if they haven’t taken any precautions, that’s just insanity.
I'm speaking from the perspective of someone on here to make friends and connect with people regardless of whether we end up ever meeting or cross paths, so yes, it's important that I know the person and feel comfortable spending time with them before cuddling etc even enters the scenario. I'm here for friendships, cuddling is secondary or even further down on my list of priorities as it's just not a big need for me. I'm just not that thirsty so I have the time and patience to put in some work. I've.never cuddled with a stranger and most.of people I have met from the site I still keep in touch with to varying degrees and some are who I would consider lifelong friends, where we have stayed in each other's homes and know each other's families.
@Morpheus 😁
I find the “getting to know someone” before cuddling sentiment extremely interesting for several reasons.
We are all obviously aware that most Female cuddlers are Pros so “getting to know them” seems unlikely unless you are willing to pay for a “get to know session” that does not involve cuddling.
If Pros were to open the door to meet with people for Free “get to know sessions” that could potentially be a huge waste of their time.
How many clowns would use a Free “get to know” session as a loophole simply to talk to/be around women.
In my opinion [this is only my opinion] you can easily figure out from a person’s profile if you would like to at least try a session with them.
Pros are people too. Some wish to keep their online presence strictly business while some welcome interaction and friendships. Nobody truly wants to be treated like they are just a warm body.
I'm picky who I cuddle, I would have to get to know them first and feel comfortable, I think that may be off putting that I will take a while to vet someone before meeting up. I've only met with one person off of here years ago and they were very nice but I was so shy I only met them once, I'm a bit less shy now.
Pros are people too.
-I thought they were pizza 🍕
My bad
Pros are people too. Nobody truly wants to be treated like they are just a warm body.

@pmvines 👍👍👍
@pmvines I thought we were robots! 🤖 Now I'm confused 🤔 But yes, thank you sir ☺️
Of course being pizza might be fun too 😜 🍕
@RedFox16 I don't know ... I dont think it turned out too well for Pizza the Hutt ...
@GuyverGordon PIZZA THE HUTT! 😃🍕
"Do you feel comfortable cuddling anybody? Do you need to know people well before you cuddle?"
I have only done one meet and greet. It was at the guy's request because he was driving through my area the day after we had chatted, and he was excited to continue our conversation. I chat online enough to understand the person's expectations and ensure my physical safety. That is normally a brief back and forth.
While all of us love those mutual cuddles with our BFF, I often cuddle people I would never want as a friend. It is usually because I sense they need the cuddle for therapeutic reasons. I know these are not going to be mutual cuddles, so I get into an empathetic mindset that I am there to help another human being. Many suffer with PTSD and need patience and understanding. To have a guy who is not comfortable sitting on the far edge of the bed when he enters the room but who leaves saying he is relaxed, refreshed and feels someone TRULY cares...that gratifies my soul. Comfortable cuddling anybody? 99% of the time - yes. I am not the norm. I have volunteered in homeless shelters hugging broken women who haven't showered in weeks, and I have attended private functions with billionaires. I see them all as people who need a hug.
No, I'm selective about whom I cuddle. I don't cuddle just anyone. It has to be someone that I specifically want to cuddle. That being said, I don't need to know them at all. It could be someone that I've never met before.
All jokes aside, I actually am quite picky. I don’t require conversation however. I talk all day long at work. If my pro wishes to engage in it, I’m happy to oblige but I’d prefer to lay in silence or have music or the TV on. I don’t require conversation, pleasantries, daily communication, etc I have plenty of people in my life that I get that from. What I don’t have enough of are willing warm bodies and thus, my comment.
