In the past year or so that I've been on CC I've met several different kinds of cuddle enthusiasts, and I'm curious which ones are the most common 🤔
There's the "Friends" type, which is where I land, that see cuddling is part of building a friendship. We tend to be fairly chatty, but comfortable with silence where it fits best, and generally tend to want to feel platonic emotional connection as well as just the physical contact of cuddling. This kind tends to feel a general sense of loneliness along with the usual touch starvation so common in our culture.
Then there's what I like to call "Appointments" type, that tend to view cuddling kinda like stopping at a gas station. You meet and cuddle, often with very little conversation or much deep relaxation, you just curl up together, usually for an hour on the dot then pop right back up, schedule the next "appointment" and head out. This kind tends to really just need the physical contact, but is otherwise satisfied with their social lives as is.
Which one are you? Or would you say you're in a different category altogether?
