New enthusiast. So far the 4 hour mark feels good (I'm neurotypical). Def breaks to go to bathroom. Do a phone check, eat a snack, rotate positions, fix the music. I think it would depend on the cuddle match with the cuddle buddy.
My sessions are 6 hours. We do eat our tea at some point. Of course you are getting up for the loo
I prefer 2 hrs, a 1 hour is just so short. I have done several overnights and those are great. On a 2 hour most of the time I doze off and my cuddle partner will also doze off.
A lot of my sessions here and elsewhere are 2+ hours. My longest without an overnight being 6 hours which was fun and involved watching cartoons and TV.
Change positions, chat, bathroom breaks, snack and water breaks, stretch break, etc.
Anything longer than 2 hours I try to bring something to do. I’ll bring a massage gun, maybe a deck of cards. Might take a break and watch videos together. It wasn’t through here but I’ve had some overnights and they usually consist of sharing a meal (either dinner or breakfast), getting some sleep, watching a movie, recovering/giving a massage.
I have been cuddling for awhile and 90 minutes is usually the best option. An hour of cuddles calls for a break. If there is alot of talking involved even more so. Sometimes it's energy draining. I wouldn't be mad at someone for wanting a stretch or water ... even a smoke
I had a cuddle once that was intended for 1 hour. We were all wrapped up in each other, and we fell asleep in each others arms. Woke up hours later. Maybe the best cuddle I’ve ever had. I love multiple hour cuddles.
3-4 hours is my favorite. 2 hours go by too quickly. I can sit still if it's comfy, but my cuddles have also involved wrestling matches, tickle flights, massages, and trying all the different positions. Stretching, eating snacks all can be done while cuddling, or just while in closet proximity. Easy to pass the time!
Snack or dance break! After the first hour or so, sometimes we'll move to a different room and we'll have snacks. Or, if the person I'm cuddling with is interested, I'll teach a dance basic and put on some music for 5 or 10 minutes. I knew competing in Latin and ballroom would come in handy!
@QuietTimes If only I weren't so shy... 😅

I have ADHD too and my sessions are rarely less than 2 hrs and a decent amount of 3-5hrs or overnight. 🤗☺️
I get restless too, but I don't think I've ever had a session where we don't change positions (or sides of the bed) many times per session. Otherwise arms and legs fall asleep or backs or sides get sore 🥴
There's definitely bathroom breaks 🚽 and grabbing drinks or snackies where we move around as well 😁🥤🍪
Don't be afraid to ask to change sides or positions throughout, that's just part of making sure you're both comfortable and able to stay present during the cuddle 🤗
I love long cuddles and get so relaxed my body seems to forget that it needs to do things like use the restroom or drink water. It’s especially nice when there is no set time to end it and we can both go as long as we want. I think the only thing I still worry about is if my mouthwash/toothpaste is holding strong 😅
Hey beautiful… just put that your minimum is 2 hrs to start. It’s not rushed and remove the option. If you’re traveling … u need time and time to create that fun and inviting space… can’t be done in a hr
There are multiple times I’ve done a couple hours. The person I’m cuddling with has gotten up to go to the washroom. I’ve offered something to drink. Getting up to stretch is fine as well.
I myself will move around or change sides. If I’m the big spoon, I’ve gotten up and going around to the other side of the bed to be the small spoon. I have a minor case of restless legs syndrome. So I’m always moving around.
Reminds me of the song Baby Got Cuddles (Parody of "Baby Got Back")
(Verse 1:) I like big cuddles and I can not lie! You snugglers can’t deny, When a girl walks in with that warm embrace And wraps you up like a cozy place, You get snug, wanna pull in tight, 'Cause spoonin’ all night just feels so right! Deep breath—yeah, I'm locked in, But wait—uh-oh, gotta shift again!
(Pre-Chorus:) Oh, girl, I love this hug, But my bladder’s feelin’ snug! I need a break—just a minute or three, Gotta pee, gotta drink, maybe grab some brie! Then I’ll be back, ready to squeeze, Wrapped up in warmth like melted cheese!
(Chorus:) Baby got cuddles! (Warm arms, soft charms) Baby got cuddles! (Long naps, no gaps)
(Verse 2:) I’m that guy who loves to snuggle, Blanket burrito, let’s get in a huddle! But halfway through, man, I get real thirsty, Need a sip before I’m back and cursin’ That I ever left this perfect nest, Your arms wrapped tight, yeah, girl, you’re the best! But snackin’ is vital, hydration too, So lemme grab a bite, then I’m back with you!
(Bridge:) If you like to spoon, let me hear you say "Oh yeah!" (Oh yeah!) If you need a snack break, say "Hell yeah!" (Hell yeah!) If you cuddle all night, but still need to bite, Then grab that snack, ‘cause this hug’s still tight!
(Outro:) So fellas (yeah?), fellas (yeah?) Do you like to cuddle with a snack break? (Hell yeah!) Then wrap her up, don’t slip, But if you need a sip, just take a quick trip!
Baby got cuddles!
When I was a professional cuddles a two hour cuddle was challenging. It takes a lot out of you to be “on” and ensuring the client is having all of their plutonic cuddle needs met for two or more hours. But now that I’m cuddling as an enthusiast; a lot of the “in charge” pressure is gone and I can simply enjoy the cuddle as only two people cuddling.
@TheDreamWeaver2: I had very similar feelings as a pro, now an enthusiast.
Prominent ADHDer as well. But for me it's my brain that's hyperactive, not necessarily my body. I don't think I've had a cuddle that was less than three hours. The longer the better. I want to hang out and sink into a person. It's one of the few things that actually helps my brain slow down.
There's a lot of position changes (everyone's limbs fall asleep from time to time), bio breaks if you need it, snackies of course.
I'm not a pro so I have the luxury of not having to keep things timed out. I think if I had to squeeze something into an hour, I just wouldn't want to do it. That's just me. 🤷♀️
I have ADHD but my sessions range from 2 to 8 hours. I find that one hour is just too short. I also have the inattentive type of ADHD rather than the hyperactive kind so I don’t know if that makes a difference. I’m extremely talkative so usually the time just flies by with conversation but also changing positions helps. With my longer sessions like 6 to 8 hour long ones we will take a break usually usually go on a walk or get something to eat etc. There’s an area to walk near both of my offices, which is nice.
I can go hours. I just move alot. Especially if the bed is uncomfortable or I feel my neck stretching too much.
