My 10 yr old grandson was voted player of the day in his junior league basketball tournament.
My dog gleefully going after a ball we found by the river made me smile. We've got a little collection of tennis balls and now this squishy neon ball, all washed up by the river, that he loves to play with when we go on walks. 🥎 🐕

Waking up feeling very well-rested even though I slept just under 6 hours. After 2 weeks traveling, there’s nothing like your own bed.

@MaverickLegend You have to understand (and maybe you are the same?). My love language is touch ... but if there was a love language slightly higher than that, it's pizza. And stuffed crust is vip (very important pizza).

Tonight at Waffle House a woman sat at the counter next to me and saw me on my tablet and recognized the program I was on and asked what hospice I worked for. Turns out she used to work for my company and her daughter is one of our CNAs who I immediately recognized when she said her name. Small world for sure. Was so nice to meet her and to be able to brag on what a great job her daughter does.
I went to this place near me. I actually at the bar, had a green tea shot. after a while of observing a few people there; I started talking to this one lady, thrn the bartender, and thrn this other guy. I got a coffee Gelato and was having a great time. I walked home. it was a great day. sometimes you just need something yummy and a nice conversation
