Cuddles and Meal Timing

Hi all, I'm wondering what your stance or preferences on meal timings and cuddling.

My cuddle buddies and I are usually available around meal times. Cause we are often time restricted (typically 1 - 2 hour sess), we usually eat on the way, or sometimes together. I enjoy dining together but it's a bit uncomfortable to cuddle just after eating, but eating afterwards can be a bit of a time crunch.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you exclude dining altogether? I don't mind cuddling on an empty stomach, but I don't want my buddy to be hungry!

I’m occasionally accused of being a bit snarky with posts like this so I’ll plead guilty but come on man, you are a 42 year old adult man, do you really need to consult a message board on when to eat? Please. Why not just ask toilet paper roll over or under? Take PM’s advice above, don’t cuddle on a full stomach, if it’s a long cuddle maybe have a little snack and move on…

    I’m out of crayons.

  • I don't want my buddy to be hungry!

    👍👍👍👍👍

Me neither, I don't want no one visiting me (or visiting me and cuddling me) to sit in my house hungry.😲

    Lol! 😆

So you will be fed, that is a promise! ✋😁

I will usually provide snacks and a meal for my cuddlers if they're wanting to meet up here at my home. 😊

Or we can meet up at a restaurant for dinner or sometimes said cuddler will stop to pick up something along the way (which is understandable as I am not a gourmet chef by any means😆😆) and then we can come back to my house to cuddle the rest of day or night away. 🫂🫂🫂

  • My sessions are typically 3-6 hours do,yes, a small meal is usually shared. I'll often bring small salads for us to enjoy. Keeps our bellies from rumbling, but doesn't leave us bloated.

  • I bring red wine and chocolate balls from Cooper Hawk.

  • I try to eat something light 2 hours prior to a session so my stomach doesn’t grumble in session

  • Usually schedule my cuddles a couple hours after or couple hours before a meal.

The time I've done overnights we usually had dinner together, but not breakfast (both of us had to be somewhere)

  • I actually eat kinda light for a fat guy, my main issue is having enough coffee to keep me from being dopesick and grumpy.

  • @pmvines my problem is interrupting my cuddles too many times so my body can finish ... processing ... all the coffee that I had before the session. 😁

  • Despite eating lightly beforehand, my stomach always starts growling shortly into a session. I think, "how can I possibly be hungry?" So I always end up running back into the kitchen to grab something. Yet, it doesn't stop the annoying sound.

Then, one of my pro Pro cuddlers told me that my stomach is likely growling because I am super relaxed and comfortable, not because I'm hungry.

    I think she's right.

  • Interesting insights, thank you all. I think a small meal is the way to go. I don't think there is a perfect answer but it's great to discuss 🙂

I've noticed coffee seems to be a recurring theme here (I think Pro Cuddlers use it to stay awake). The caffeine makes me hyper which is counterproductive for cuddling haha

  • @BigSpoonBlanket 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just had an amazing first session and my cuddle buddy cooked for me. It was a a really great meal plus a comfortable ice breaker to chat and eat before melting into some amazing cuddles!

I am always down for some grub! Pre, post or mid cuddle ... 😋

    That sounds really awesome

    @WestsideMarc I get you.

  • I usually have a light snack beforehand. I check in with who I am cuddling to make they are fine. I’m more concerned about beverages. Making sure the person is not thirsty. I’ll find out what beverages they prefer and a specific brand of water if need be. More than anything else.

  • I have the opposite problem where I often have long multi hour sessions in the evenings when I would normally eat dinner and I’m starving if I don’t go out of my way to eat beforehand. Generally, if the session is longer than four or five hours, I incorporate ordering food and sharing a meal as part of the session. I have pretty much resigned myself to the fact that my meal schedule has to revolve around my work and that it changes day to day

    😆😆😆😆

@pmvines Lol! I remember the first time you came here and stayed overnight...😆😆😆

YOU were so disappointed that I was NOT a coffee drinker!☕🚫☕🚫☕🚫☕

    😆😆😆😆😆

But in the end, you kept your "morning grumps" under wraps (that morning at least😊) and I thank you for that my friend.😊🙏

  • If I'm hungry right before a cuddle, I might eat something like that aligns well with my food plan, such as a protein bar or a few almonds or something.

  • The perfect answer is:

If you're hungry, eat enough to not be hungry.

Think this thread can be closed lol

  • @KuddlyKoala stop being reasonable, mature, and logical. I might have to report you. 😏

  • Something I've done with a cuddler was pick up sushi rolls on the way to the session, and we'd just eat a piece or two and cuddle some, then eat another, cuddle more, lather, rinse, repeat. Kept us from starving without being full and uncomfortable.

Now, the fishy breath was another issue ...

  • Charcuterie and fruits are something I tend to bring along when I travel and know myself/others may get snacky during a session or have had a long day and no time for delivery. 😊
