Am I really the only strictly platonic cuddler left?

Recently I had a cuddle with a new client and the subject of sex work on the site came up. I asked him what percentage of professionals offer off the menu services and he told me 90%!!! I of course get a lot of cancellations because once we are off site they ask for these services and I decline. What I don’t understand is there are plenty of sites that offer these kinds of services for probably less money. So why look for them on a platonic cuddling site? Am I naive to think that there are more people using the site for what it’s meant for than those that use it as a way to find sex workers? I know I have a handful of regulars that have never even hinted at wanting more and most of my cuddles don’t go there because I can usually filter them out before meeting them by asking what they are looking for during our session. That being said I’ve had a serious increase of potential clients that I’ve had to turn away because they ask me to wear something I’m not comfortable with or ask me to do something I’m not comfortable with. I have the upmost respect for sex workers and honestly wish I was able to go that route on occasion. Like the other day when I was offered 12 THOUSAND DOLLARS to offer full service to a potential client and I had to refuse because I know when it came down to it I wouldn’t be able to go through with it. So no judgement whatsoever towards sex workers but I just wish they would stick to the sites that are meant for that kind of work. It would save hours of my time daily talking to people that aren’t interested in what CC is supposed to be for. I know no one is going to come out and say “hey I’m a sex worker and use the site to find dates” but maybe those like me or people that want to find authentic professional cuddlers can have some input. What is everyone’s thoughts on this subject and how do you navigate finding cuddles that are just that. I love what I do and I would hate for this site to gain the reputation of being a front and not what it claims to be.

  • I really don’t understand it either my only guess is they are preying on the vulnerabilities of sweet people that want to only platonic cuddle or to them cuddle doesn’t mean platonic cuz their soul is so blind. I’ve been approached by gross guys on here n of course they all got reported n banned. I hope things improve here. Enough is enough.

  • So your client knows every single pro on the site, and has personal knowledge from polling each and every pro, with each and every one providing 100 percent accurate honest info and have indicated that they offer sexual services, and then crunched these numbers and came up with an infallible statistic of 90 percent? Can you see why that statement is a bit silly and off base ?

  • This is the sexual equivalent of the old drug commercial with a dealer making the pitch “Everybody’s doing it.” He’s gaslighting you so you give him what he wants.

I only have my personal experience to go by, and I’ve never sought non-platonic services so I don’t have a full picture. But yes, my overall impression is that the large majority of pros at least occasionally do sex work, and a substantial portion of them do it very often.

On multiple occasions I’ve discovered that a pro who seemed really by the book was a sex worker.

I also find this really unfortunate, and to be frank I don’t have much respect for sex work, but it is what it is.

As to why it happens here and they don’t go to a site specifically for that, I’ve heard two reasons:

    1. Those sites are a pain to use and contact people from. This site can be out in the open and easy to use, because theoretically nothing illegal is happening.
    2. Men like the idea of someone who isn’t getting as much business as just a straight up escort - it’s not necessarily a pleasant thought that the woman you’re about to get intimate with may have been with multiple other men in just the past couple days.

Account is under review. Mighty big claims for someone with a dubious profile, especially considering he has not reported ONE Pro. [-Sid]

  • I was obviously asking him to share his personal experience with professionals on the site. And that was the number he voiced to me. Now I’m voicing my individual account of what I was told by a client and asking for feedback. Glad I could clear that up for you since you seem confused. 🤗

  • I would tend to agree with you @TheFunCartel. But he wasn’t looking for that at all. At least not from me. I guess someone would have brought it up for him to gain that figure but again I’m just sharing what someone told me and hoping for valuable feedback.

Not confused, it's just that you seem to be presenting it as an accurate representation of truth when it's really just something that some guy said as is evidenced by your thread title. I agree with @TheFunCartel. He's likely trying to plant the seed that this is all normal behavior and that you are the anomaly, and fishing to see your response. I know lots of cuddle pros personally, not even as a client but as friend friends. I do know that there are some folks selling sex, however it's not nearly as rampant as some people try to insinuate.

  • @lilhugdealer I read it exactly as you described it (in your clarifying posts). Still, sorry you, and others, have had to navigate these unnecessary waters.

  • I read the first few sentences. Maybe you two are the common denominator and give off that vibe. Like why even ask that question?? That would’ve made me look at you sideways.

  • A lot of gall with the title of your post…

  • I’d venture to say it’s a lot more rampant on here than what people want to believe. Especially if you’re considering ANYTHING other than non platonic as a violation or “sex work”. I would think there’s a high number of pros who started out strictly platonic and eventually had that 1 cuddler that they connected with and one session led to kissing and the next maybe getting “handsy”. Point is that pro isn’t offering up or on here for sex work but eventually something non platonic happens with someone they connect with.

  • You're not the only platonic cuddler, there are way more of us and 90% seems exaggerated. I agree with the others that he might have been testing the waters/ gaslighting you.

At 90% - if he had been with 10 cuddlers (including you) you were the only platonic one?
Out of 20 people... only you and one other person was platonic?
Out of 100...only 10 are platonic?!?

Sounds ridiculous and doesn't seem possible.

On image, the people around the number 100 represent about 10%

I'm sorry, but I definitely 🤣🤣🤣 at that one.

  • 90% is a very high percentage I don't believe it is that high. Sometimes they also lie and say every other pro does it, to manipulate pro's that don't into thinking it's normal to include sex.

  • I'm in the top 10%! Does that make me an elite?

  • I've only seen 4 pros, but none have offered me anything extra.

This is the oldest trick in the book. The answer is, "Then go hire one of them. Get out."

  • Lol some post to gain attention. 12000$ offer was the funniest. Thanks for making me laugh.

  • @TheFunCartel this might only happen if it is stuck in atm machine

  • I find your broad assumption offensive! Congratulations on following the rules but your statement in your opening title is very rude! My assumption is that a majority of PRzos follow the rules and have enough issues fending off unwanted advances than having to deal with someone enter a chat room insinuating they are sexworkers. Shame on you! You owe a lot of people an apology

  • I think $12k is what happens when a penis has SOMEONE ELSE'S debit card.

  • So inflation says that since 2020 cost of living should be 20 percent higher.
But average cuddling rates went up 100 percent or more.
Definitely going to attract different kind of clients and pros as no other job saw that kind of rate increase.
I shoot weddings and we didn't get 100 percent raises.

  • I am a platonic cuddler! :) my favorite cuddlers are the non-boundary pushing cuddlers that don’t ask to push rules, that don’t try to push rules, and so on.

  • Some of your numbers on your initial post is wild.

    1. 90%, no way. I live near Miami/Fort Lauderdale area, there was a website for the either Tampa or Orlando, I can't remember, where guys would talk about their dates. Based on that I would say about 25%. This was a year ago, I don't remember the site, I ran across it by accident and found it entertaining.

    2. Offered you $12,000 for sex! This is crazier than your 90% number.

I like entertainment, every once in a while you some of these topics on this forum are just that.

@Melancholy They set their own prices and it's whatever the market will bear. If you can charge $150 an hour and still do good business, why wouldn't you? If the prices are too high and they don't get business, then they lower them or they quit the profession.

This isn’t an exaggerated number—in fact, I’d say about half of the cuddlers I’ve known have crossed the line from platonic. I understand it might be hard to believe or accept, but that’s been my experience. Though few not on the first session but in further sessions once they find comfort with the regular clients. And honestly, it’s hard to blame them, especially with how tough things are financially right now.

[And yet, not one report by you, @maverickman16 . -Sid]

I use the site for when it’s meant to be. I have never paid a pro and I never will. Even with that stated, in my profile, I have had pros message me, and there were a few in the past that has stated that they will do more for extra and then they get angry with me and I’m the asshole for declining them. I don’t know, I just am not into paying for it and it just feeling like a business transaction. The couple that I have been able to cuddle with always turned out great and I felt we had a better connection on a personal level instead of paying up, which would just be a business transaction. I see more and more people talking about that this is being used for more than what it is meant to be used for. I’m also on a penpal app, and the same thing goes on there. I will get people in my area messaged me that they offer services for different prices. Have even had people around the world, offering to sell photos and video of them and then again the same thing they get angry when I decline.

[Not one report of these solicitations, @JackNJ . -Sid]

@JackNJ And did you report them? Only way to get them off the site.
