Am I really the only strictly platonic cuddler left?

Thanks for sharing your experience. We need more people to share their input on this.

  • Not a hard rule. When reading Karma, if some one is referred as “professional” or Karma’s say platonic then you know your with some one that obeys boundaries. If some one has 15+ reviews and no mention of these words, be careful!

  • In my experience, I've had client's request more off site. It's painfully annoying but they must have had that experience with someone on the site to try and pursue the same interaction with another professional cuddle therapist. I reiterate what's already in my bio, send screenshots of the policy and if they can't take a hint then I'm not going to continue the conversation. I like to give my client's the option of making amends. We can still have a great experience without the lewd acts. I've only had to report one person who continued to be persistent during our in-person session. He had the gull to make another account after being banned. I don't understand how that's possible. Does the site not track email accounts or are these people using different emails? Someone let me know.

  • I’m a strictly platonic cuddler but I’ve had a handful of people want more. Someone this past week was trying to date me! I do not use cuddlecomfort as a dating site.. I recommended dating sites to this person. I’m also not sure why people are using this website when there are other ones that are more tailored to their needs. Actually, one person who wanted a non-platonic cuddler, when asked this question, stated that it would feel ‘more natural’ with someone from this site than a SW website.

  • @Feefy - SW is also illegal in the U.S. They have to hope it's not a police sting when they seek one out as if they have nothing better to do than to bust consenting adults. That really needs to change.

  • Why would you make a statement like that in your title saying are you the only platonic cuddler? That's offensive and you expect people not to get upset especially other cuddlers? You are basically saying every other cuddle is offering sex except for you. How can you base that off of what one client told you? I had guys ask me what I'm going to be wearing to the session? From that alone I knew where they were heading with that nonsense and I didn't move forward with booking. That client was throwing bogus percentages at you so you can believe you're the only platonic one to get you to do things. You really fell for his lies. Having a title like that tarnishes the site bc now you making it seem like most of us aren't legit professional cuddlers. Some guys are weird and want more that's why you need to see what they really looking for before you have a cuddling session with them. I like to talk to them before a session believe me the weird ones always show their true colors up front. My session session are strictly platonic if they want sex they can go find it elsewhere.

It's odd that people exploiting the basic need for human touch for profit think they're on the right side of any line. [Edit by Sid. Pro-bashing comment removed. @Kent_and_Monkey - thou shall keep your opinion of Pros to yourself in the forums.]

  • this thread is hilarious

  • @CaramelNotes

Very well said, I fully agree ☝🏾 !!!

    @Katota
You are spot on, terrible title indeed!

I love your gifs and consistency with great blade gifs/commentary ☺️🤭🥰 keep it up 👍🏽

    —————————————————————

Of course you’re not the only, first nor the last platonic pro/cuddler on the site. That is why this is a cuddle community, because there is more than just one person in existence looking to simply cuddle 🤗 many people don’t have family members or access to genuine companionship/emotional support. That’s why being PROFESSIONAL is in the title of what we do.

It’s a choice to do the right thing and conduct ourselves in a platonic and respectful manner, just because someone (a naughty client) jumps off the bridge of platonic intentions doesn’t mean (any platonic pro cuddler) has to jump too.

Simply ignore, report or delete (the profile/person) ….. all 3 more preferably. An individual just needs to mature and exercise their free will to say no to breaking the site rules of platonic interactions with a client and then keep it moving. No one is forced to communicate with anyone who isn’t complying to the terms WE ALL AGREED TO when becoming a part of the site. All in all, you will learn how to not respond to non-platonic messages more the longer you are around and get to learn more red flags 🚩 to try and avoid before meeting with people on C.C. and discussing topics like this.

Wishing Op best of luck 🤞🏾 on your cuddle journey here, hopefully you gain something during your time on the forums that you are searching for.

    ~ Happy Platonic Cuddling Everyone 🤗 ~

@Kent_and_Monkey Food is a basic human need. So is housing. People charge you for both.

Fact is, pros only exist here because there are way more men looking for this than women, so if you didn't have pros, most of the men on here would have no shot at anything. There were no pros when the site started. It evolved because there is a 16-1 ratio of men to women here.

  • I have had lots of cuddles and conversations and never been approached by a Cuddler for these other services...

  • I’ve experienced this many times also, you just have to hold firm on your boundaries and make sure to be clear that this is strictly platonic. It’s disheartening but also the real world. You set YOUR standard. 😘

  • [Deleted User]CharlesGrove (deleted user)

@Kent_and_Monkey Welcome to capitalism! It sucks here for almost everyone.

It’s a strange system where the goal is to make enough money to survive the system.

  • [Deleted User]WriterGF (deleted user)

@Kent_and_Monkey Just as an FYI, your post could easily be viewed as pro bashing, which is against TOS. You're allowed to express a negative opinion of the industry but characterizing it as the lowest form of behavior likely goes over the line.

I respect masseuses. They do work. I respect sex workers. They do work. Y'all are charging 200/hour with no training or qualification to get held and watch tv, and pretending you're doing the world a favor. It is ugly. I do look down on it, and would lose nothing if you banned me, because there's nothing here to lose.

[Edit. Sid just showed you the door. Goodbye.]

  • [Deleted User]WriterGF (deleted user)

@Kent_and_Monkey Then why waste your time here? Just to complain?

  • @Kent_and_Monkey : Some pros on here do have certifications and training in different areas, so that’s a failed belief on your end. Further, most pros on here aren’t charging that amount, and if they are, oftentimes, it’s due to hosting or the area they live in being pricey.

Like you said, masseuses charge for their services. Even hospitals charge for parents to hold their newborns. Therapists charge for someone to talk to them about their issues/daily lives when they could, on the same note, speak with someone for free.

@CuddlesComfort8 And add in the cost of gas to travel to someone ... or office rental for those pros who have an outside office ... the time to prep space ... hotel money ... all of that potentially goes into it. Not to mention having to put up with all the clients trying to push boundaries.

Pros price at what the market will bear. If they charge too much and don't get business, they lower their prices or they quit. If they charge much less and get flooded with clients, they might increase prices since they are getting demand. Just like any other business.

Hey, anyone is free to not use pros -- there are a number of people who don't -- and if you're lucky enough to find an enthusiast, great. Doesn't give anyone the right to bash an entire profession. No one is forcing anyone to do business with a pro, so anyone who doesn't like them can just move on.

  • @Kent_and_Monkey
Cool it with the pro bashing. If you know pros using the site for non-platonic purposes, report them. And if you have to vent about pricing, use the pro pricing megathread.

  • I find it odd how many cuddlers have posted that they "take offense" and other similar post to the OP's title. I doubt they legitimately believe they are the ONLY one. The title is kinda like a callout to all those like OP. Have you never heard someone make a statement like OP's in another context? Its an extreme statement to get a point across and that point was that she had been hounded so much about non platonic stuff that she felt like shes the only one who is strictly platonic. Even though she would know she wasnt. Im just baffled at how many pro's havent understood it and actually voiced their opinions that OP was rude and disrespectful to them.

  • @colinsc31
Agreed. These forums are paved with eggshells--the likes of which I've never seen anywhere else before.

The disadvantage of a forum discussion, as compared to face-to-face conversation, are commonly known. The absence of vocal inflection, facial expression, body language and mannerisms (all of which we use to understand each other) can easily cause a misunderstanding.

Without all theses elements, we must choose our words very, vert carefully when posting in the forums.

    .

  • I agree with your sentiment (your username doesnt really help your cause :p)

Sadly it is the reality that many people see it as more than just cuddles, as if what's on offer is flexible

I do my part by signalling "Pros" who offer more and I have them banned from the website

  • [Deleted User]easylike (deleted user)

I've pretty much stayed out of this conversation seeing how I have only been with one pro cuddler and she was strictly platonic, but I have to say in support of lilhugdealer, I am shocked that anyone would take here "am I the only one" literally.

  • Zero credibility to this post. I have Karma from 24 cuddlers here. 90% of them are pros. Out of that 90% you would think that I had been propositioned or done the propositioning for extras ... what... like 22 times? 😆. Considering it's 0 your math doesn't math. But maybe we just mutually pick classy people?

I'd love to see you put that $12k pricetag on "What's Your Price." Will your inbox blow up? I somehow doubt it.

Obviously a heading meant to sound dubious and get attention.

    Does not compute.

  • Late to the party but my 2 cents. I've been cuddling with pros for the better part of two years now.. Everyone I've cuddled with has left karma on my page.. I've seen each of them multiple times including overnights and not once(even the pro that's banned that left karma on my page) have any of them said or done something during a session or messaging that made me think that something extra was available. And they would say the same about me.I'm very respectful during each session I've had.So no,I think the 90% that was mentioned was just gas lighting to make you believe that since everyone is doing it,you might as well.Guys like that are predators, dangerous and need to be banned ASAP..But lets not kid ourselves, there are pros who've willingly crossed that line with a client for whatever reason.Right person, right moment I guess. And if both parties stay quiet, then we'll never really know how often this takes place.I agree that's not what this site is about and personally it's not why I started cuddling but you do have two adults behind closed doors who you hope are following the rules..And this might upset some people but I'm not about to tell two consenting adults(emphasis on consenting) what they can and cannot do behind closed doors..

  • @Feefy they are using this site because this is being discussed as an alternative to escorts and sugaring now….so they’re trying to get the same treatment for less money…..its really gross. And I honestly think even sex workers shouldn’t use this site for that reason, because you’re only going to find people who want to underpay you anyway.

  • It's simply ignorant and offensive to suggest PRo cuddlers don't work extremely hard given all the aspects it takes to make a platonic session a remarkable event

  • @dennis22554 for sure! But thankfully that goon is banned.

  • It's always entertaining to see how many people get banned during the time of this post.
