@cool_dude_ I just looked and nothing looks sketchy to me either. If there's something specific you're concerned about feel free to reach out directly and I'll try to help.
@ccol_dude: I agree, your profile doesn't look sketchy at all.
@cool_dude Your profile looks fine to me. You seem genuine and have a kind face.
What happened to Healing Siren in Olympia, WA?
@Jazzdrummer ? Her profile seems to still be here.
Why does the age not match the profile picture on some of the accounts? Some of these people clearly are not 25 years old. π
@MTex I'm sorry if this comes as a shock, but some humans lie about their age.
@CuddleDuncan
Then they should put a picture that's a little closer to the age they're lying about π Or they want us to do math 25x2 = 50 that's more like it. π
What do or are you able to charge for a virtual session...
Is it possible to come back after having your account closed or is it over?
@ddeanda2 Yes, pros charge for virtual sessions. Sometimes they charge less than for a physical cuddle, sometimes they charge the same.
If someone requests to cuddle but has no βfriendsβ or βkarmaβ, is it appropriate to ask for another form of verification before agreeing to a cuddle session? If so, what could I request?
@cosmicforce You should ask for whatever makes both you and your cuddle partner comfortable and safe. As for what to request, it depends on what you are seeking to verify.
@cosmicforce it is appropriate to ask for whatever you feel comfortable with.
A good option is a photo of some form of ID with the personal details blanked out. E.g. a driving licence with the number obscured, but the name and photo clear. Bad actors will normally refuse, and be unpleasant about it. Genuine clients may express some concern but will do so politely, understand your concern, and work with you to find something that suits you both. Good clients know exactly why this matters and will just do it.
It's perfectly normal to have no Friends or Karma - everybody starts like that - so it's not a red flag. DO NOT rely on Friends or Karma on their own, they are not especially reliable. You must always make your own judgement. The person responsible for your safety is - spoiler alert - you.
@usernamess if you Deleted your account then yes sure, create a new one and off you go.
If you were Banned then no, you are not permitted to return to the site. There are automated and manual systems for spotting people who do and the vast majority are re-banned within a matter of hours. (It is impossible to prevent banned people from creating new accounts because of the way the internet works.)
In rare cases, people who have been banned are allowed to return. There are no firm criteria, but if a decent amount of time has passed it is worth making a direct appeal to the Mods. You will need to demonstrate things like contrition, understanding of what you did wrong and why, and evidence that you are not that kind of person any more.
What if you and your new found cuddle buddy start to like each other in the getting to you station. What happen then.
How do you book a session when you are in pending professional status?
@SlimSnuggler You can't book a pro session while waiting approval as a pro. Are you looking to set up an enthusiast-enthusiast meet-up?
@WriterGF what is an enthusiast-enthusiast meet-up?
@SlimSnuggler Cuddling where there's no money involved. No pro involved, just cuddling for the sake of it.
Hello, What's the difference between banned and timeout?
It says timeout next to their name but when you open their profile, its says member banned.
@TheArtofTouch Timeout means due to some kind of behavior,they cannot participate on CC for a set period of time. Banned means they were involved in such aggregeous behavior that they are no longer permitted in the site, ever again.
@Immersedwarmth Thank you π€ I was just slightly confused because it says both timeout and banned.
Is it just me but I think βWhereβs the restroom?β is a frequently asked question.
@TheFunCartel According to Creedence Clearwater Revival, there's a bathroom on the right.
@TheArtofTouch The coding on the site is not well set up for when someone is on a Timeout. It often shows users as Banned, when they are only temporarily Timed Out. This is frustrating and it would be nice if they fixed it.
Most likely if you check back, the person in question will be back in a week to a month.

I had a thought... does CC have contact or business cards. I come across a lot of traveling nurses & they need cuddles! I met one this morning & was thinking I really wish I had a Cuddle Comfort card to give him. π
Edit: We need t-shirts & merch! π Is there merchandise at the meetups?
@MTex No, all the site has is this:
https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/site/print
As far as t-shirts, some people get personalized ones made, or wear Free Hugs t-shirts, etc. I have a small collection of cuddle-related shirts that I wear to group cuddles, and I'm not shy about wearing them around town, either. π
@SunsetSnuggles Thank you! I need to get me some t-shirts. π
