@MsCinderella people are Banned for one reason and one reason only - they broke the terms of service.
And they didn't break them in a tiny way: that would result in a Warning or Timeout, not a Ban.
People who have been Banned can attempt to create another account because that's how the internet works: there is nothing that can be done to stop it. However the vast majority of Banned people who create new acccounts are caught and re-Banned almost immediately. If you see an account which you suspect to a returned Bannee, please Report it.
Reports are anonymous in the sense that the reportee won't know who Reported them, although they may guess. (Technically there are very, very specific circumstances in which the identity of the reporter will become known but they are vanishingly rare.)

I agree it would be very helpful and ease our minds if banned accounts at least showed the category for banning: Non-Platonic, Scammer, Underage... Big difference between some of those.
@hangingon While that is a cool concept, I think it would result in thousands of duplicate accounts from insecure people wanting to see their reviews.

When i say a tiny way, someone told me they were banned for communicating off site before booking an appointment. To me, that’s tiny compared to what i have experienced in sessions.
I’ve seen people post that other pros probably offer sexual services. I certainly did not believe it when i read this. However I’ve experienced men thinking i would offer more. They are almost shocked that I don’t.
When I’m unsure of someone i will schedule a 15-30 minute virtual where i get to know the person and make my rules very clear.

@MsCinderella there are a few professionals who offer non-platonic services of one kind or another. Most are banned very quickly, and we catch a lot as soon as they arrive. They are all caught and banned in the end. The problem is that sex work is illegal in many parts of the US and so sex workers are always looking for places to advertise. Some are told that Cuddle Comfort is a good spot for them, and they believe it because there are other sites which falsely describe themselves as 'cuddle'.
Professionals are indeed banned for communicating off-site before booking an appointment. But not the first time or even the second time. Anybody banned for that is a persistent and deliberate offender. The site fee is impossibly low at only 15%, and is the site's only source of income, so we take a dim view of people who deliberatly try to avoid it.
I’ve had clients ask me to pay off site . I always say no because if it weren’t for this site I wouldn’t have clients. Plus i want the karma 😂
Make it mandatory to indicate if you can host or not. A lot of ppl don’t fill this in.

@TxTom - There are children masquerading as males and females everywhere! I’m against opening this site to a wider audience because there are already too many here using it for the wrong reasons. My inbox is consistently full of examples. It takes bravery to be an enthusiast (or a pro) here as it is. I like that you basically have to be looking for “this” to find it, but I’m no where near naive enough to believe that means someone would value it more. My cuddle buddies are cherished and I “protect” them because I know I need to be held and that that’s sacred (well, to me anyway). I think opening this “more” would only corrode that intrinsic value. There’s a level of control assumed to be on this site that just isn’t and it’s not possible for it to be.
I really agree with the original post from this thread on many points. I can't speak for other places around the world, but in the Benelux the cuddle community is pretty much completely dead. Even pro's don't answer! There must be something done about all these inactive accounts, imo 🫤

Unpostable draft threads
I have a number of draft posts. The ones that are potential posts in existing threads I can edit and post freely, no trouble there. However, if the post is for a new thread there is a problem. In some cases, yes I can edit the text and could post the new thread as usual. However, in other cases I can not.
In these cases I can see the title and the first two lines of text on the drafts page, but clicking on them produces a blank new thread template.
There seems no rhyme nor reason as to which are which. I'd quite like to finish and post some of them. I can't just start again because some are old and I can't remember what I wrote, other than that it was startlingly brilliant. Probably.

@disneysamurai I wonder what you mean with "a bit"? I reckon most users are from the US, a big country, so they are used to drive long distances but where we live anything beyond 100km is considered far away. My search is clocked at 160km (~100 miles), yet that's in a straight line, actually driving it would mean 200km or so and with the current petrol prices, that's insane for a cuddle. 😵💫

I may have suggested this one previously, but it bears repeating: reorganizing the forums to have more specific sub categories. This would make it easier for people to follow the topics they're interested in and avoiding the ones they don't have interest in. Example: Under General we might have Forum Announcements/Must Reads, FAQs, Off Topic, Cuddling for beginners, etc. Under requests, instead of having one long thread for each region, have a sub category for each and then individual threads could be more local

Under the sub categories I would love to have a politics and other controversies forum as well as a great debates forum. We are all adults and the idea that we aren't allowed to breathe about the world burning before our very eyes is infuriating

You hear these stories, even with the LGBQT and people of color, people will hate what you say, find you and harm you. Here i no different. They can book a session to get your address, cuddle, come back anytime and do harm.

I like the profile questions, as someone who doesn’t own a car and can only host. In my experience though most people don’t read through anyway because I’m constantly being asked to travel to them. End of conversations. So it’s not the profile questions, it’s the users. I had to include in my bio to not wear scents as I am very sensitive and allergic. I agree, waaaay too many people use this site for a dating/hook-up site. I request a phone call to screen people and I’m very up front about being a platonic Cuddler. 90% of inquiries end there. I charge for this very reason. I don’t use cuddling as a source of income, I charge for safety. Too many people assume though that because I charge I must offer more. Another point during phone screenings that I get is requests to wear specific clothing. Obviously they’re looking for something else. Because so many drop off after the initial consultation if you will, I’m not a very active cuddler. Maybe one/month. Most times not even that much. I’d rather it not be held against me or consider me inactive if I don’t get traffic. I actually check for messages and requests daily. I don’t mind keeping this site open on my browser because as I said I check daily, usually morning and evening. An app would be nice but I won’t pay to be on it, it’s not worth it for me since I have so few sessions. Years before I began cuddling I had a stalker for multiple years. I want to see everyone before I agree to cuddling. I request pictures upfront. It’s a priority for me. For the same reasons I’m sensitive about my address and phone number. This site is actually helpful for me in learning to trust. Because of my experience I’m also more apt to pick up on a “type.”

It'd be really cool, and useful I think, to have a site Wiki that maps out links to various discussions that could be an update on the FAQ. With the forum search feature being somewhat buried and not intuitive for most users, having an actual Wiki dedicated to frequently referenced topics could go a long way towards helping newbies especially. It'd also hopefully cut down on topic burnout and be a lot easier for helpful folks to find the links they're referencing.
Heck, it could even be required reading prior to forum participation 😂
