There are lots of men in the cuddle business.
They are commonly referred to as clients.
@HeHolds
In London, and presumably the northeastern and southwestern metropolises in the USA, there is a potential market for men professional cuddlers who cuddle women. I am confident that the right man could convert that potential into an actual market for himself and, in time, others. However, it would take at least two years and a six-figure sum to achieve and I'm equally confident that it wouldn't be worth it, even if it worked.
I have met in person and online a number of women who stated explicitly - unprompted - that they would have paid me for cuddles had I been listed as a professional. Anecdotally I have heard from women professionals that some of their women clients would have hired a man had a suitable one been available. But I don't think that there is much doubt that the majority of women would never hire a professional cuddler, man or woman.
they would have paid me for cuddles
I've has several people tell me I'd make a good professional cuddler. While I appreciate the compliment, I'm not sure how much of it I actually believe. It's a much bigger commitment to actually book something. It's like when I tell someone about a trip I took to Germany and they say "I'd love to travel to Germany!" There is a big gap between saying that you'd do something or you'd like to do something and actually devoting the time and money to make it happen. (That's a reason why "put your money where your mouth is" is a well known saying)
had a suitable one been available
I think this is the key issue. "Suitable" can mean different things to different people, but safety seems to be a big component of that. And a male pro cuddler is basically trying to convince a woman to feel completely safe with a stranger. Sure, women take that risk regularly here, meeting with strangers, but if they are going to pay for it, they would need assurances. Certifications could certainly help, but there is very little that distinguishes the average male pro here from the hundreds of male enthusiasts who would be free.
@Achterbahn , but you WOULD make a great pro!
I would love to try it-I’m friendly but cautious about whom I spend my spoons on.
So basically I would have to go to either a parallel universe where there was a cuddle store where I could work (I like implied consent) or somehow change my personality (it ain’t happening)
Maybe if I could start my own business…. Probably not
Maybe the role is to be the customer or client
I mean anything’s possible. This has been a decade of rapid change so what was true up to last year may change this year or next
I had a potential male cuddler who was driving me up the wall with questions before meeting. He then let slip that he was only booking a session with me to "see how things are done" as he wanted to become a professional. It was a block from me. No thanks. 🤦
I am not a professional cuddler however, I am very good at it and have met some women who say they feel safe and at easy after a session or two. What do women seek in a cuddle session? Other then being, touched, held and listened to? If a man was a professional cuddler would women pay per session?? Would and do women pay for virtual sessions.
There are threads about male pro cuddlers in the Professional Cuddlng forum which may interest you. Typically there's not much of a market for them, and they don't last long.
I would never pay for a virtual session. To me, that's just a video call with a fancy name. Also, most women can get free cuddles whenever they want, as men outnumber women on this platform.
There are women who actively seek men professional cuddlers, and others who would hire one if the opportunity appeared. However, they are very few and far between.
Well finally something posted I can agree with by the above poster 👍
Now I wonder if the same poster can assist in how we as a community can assist so there is not an environment where there are very few and far between.
Or we can keep posting that male professional cuddling is … idk ..a waste of effort ? I for one don’t think so and wish we had more support from the community and well the forums too !
Im Still Having Trouble Figuring It All Out 😭😭
Not much to figure out @Cuddle_Daddy_56. Women are not going to be willing to pay you 100 an hour to cuddle with them.
Hello all, general question is, do males get hired? Little bit about me, i'm a big guy, a combat vet, and someone with insomnia who finds cuddling to be peaceful and merely wish to provide that for others since I myself cannot attain that. I AM NOT ASKING to be hired, I am merely inquiring if someone like me COULD be hired as a professional cuddler?
I'd start by changing your username, no "daddy" allowed on here.
Merging this with the male pros thread in Professional Cuddling.
I’m new to this. Just want to meet good people with good energy. Anyone have any tips or stories to share?
Not a pro-cuddler, however, I AM a cuddle enthusiast. I have met women that are fellow enthusiast looking for platonic masculine cuddle buddy. Its been a win-win. I can't imagine women paying a man to cuddle when they have their female friends to hang out with. There may be some rare occasions but I'd be cautious of that.
Be honest, how much traction are you getting with female clients willing to pay your fee for platonic cuddling. Asking because I have male friends who are interested in this line of work they just dont feel like theres much of a market
Hi Pro Cuddlers, I am seriously thinking of signing up to become pro cuddler soon but worried seeing zero response on your profiles. Can you share if there is any customer base?
I wanted to know if any people offering cuddling services have had any trouble with people complaining after the fact about a situation that did not happen?
I would love to be a cuddler, but I understand that there are people who might, through no fault of my own, complain or even charge that I crossed the platonic line. I value my good reputation, and I know my integrity, but if a woman made a charge against me, I would have no proof that I did nothing (I assume cuddlers are not allowed to video the sessions). As we know, women are given the benefit of doubt way more than men are.
I just wondered how other cuddlers. especially men, have dealt with that fear before deciding to offer cuddling Services
As a male Pro Cuddler, your first concern is to even get a booking to begin with. There is a lot of information to read here for Male Pros on how to get clients (pinned at the top of discussion boards). And of course you must go through the application process if you decide to try it. I believe that some do get paying clients but sometimes not enough to cover the sites set monthly fee. Best of luck and it doesn’t hurt to try. As far as liability, all you can do is be very careful with who you have a session with, lots of conversation first for a clear understanding. There are many kinds of risks with this business. You can only control your own behavior of course.

is there any way I can reach clients who really to cuddle? new here platonically...
@cuddlehakob Did you read this whole thread? I suggest you do, since you seem more focused on getting clients and making money than educating yourself about what others have experienced as a male pro. There's also this:
https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/forum/discussion/25521/how-do-male-cuddlers-find-clients
The short answer is, mostly they don't find clients. And if you read this entire thread, the question of why don't they will have already been answered.
Ok, so I've been on CC for a couple of years now. I've had mostly good experiences. So far, I (40 M) have only cuddled with women, and I've been the one hosting. But, well, money has grown a bit scarcer than would be optimal. I'm wondering if maybe it would be a good idea to try my hand at being a pro cuddler. This isn't an ad, I haven't made up my mind yet. But I'm curious to ask any pros, male or female, what they think of it, and what might make one successful in doing so.
I'm a pretty talkative person, I've been told I have the gift of gab. I'm very respectful, you can check out my karma, I'm not someone who crosses boundaries. I'm affectionate, and willing to help soothe people's nerves, which is the reason I have requested cuddle sessions in the past. I'm a good listener, and I can talk about a wide range of topics. I have reliable transportation. I'm a little on the heavier side, weight wise. I'm straight, but I don't think I'd have a problem cuddling dudes. Since it's clearly stated that this is platonic only up front, as long as nobody (man or woman) gets "fresh", I think I could get along.
But is there even a market for male pros? Especially if you're in the Sacramento area, I'd love to hear from you if you think there's a market for it here. And what are the average prices a man can reasonably ask for? Is there anything that a pro cuddler might give as advice?
Any input is appreciated! I hope I haven't broken any guidelines, if I have, I apologize. Thank you for taking the time to read this. And happy cuddling to all of you out there!
Well, I can say for myself that in the present reality, it would be impossible for me to be a pro cuddler because I am selective about whom I cuddle, and because I don't cuddle the same sex.
Now, in an alternate reality in which we reversed the dynamic, and women were actively seeking out male pro cuddlers, and I could be selective about which clients I accept and don't accept, then I probably could be a pro cuddler. Whether I would be good at it is a different question. But no doubt I could in that alternate reality.
It can be frustrating sometimes, even for the women pros. I had someone cancelled after they asked for a full body picture, and they claimed it was for scheduling issues but they haven't reached out since then 🙃 ultimately: keep trying and you'll get bookings. But patience and kindness are imperative. Even if they're not kind to you.
@Sunrise_Snuggle can I ask why you don't cuddle men?
