Is this normal on Cuddle Comfort or potentially a scam?

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to figure out if this is normal on Cuddle Comfort or potentially a scam.

I talked to a relatively new user (recently registered, no karma). She didn’t mention charging at first, but after a few conversations she brought up moving the chat to Snapchat for faster replies, which would require a $20 fee. She then mentioned a $120/hr rate for cuddle sessions.

When I asked about booking an appointment, she said she doesn’t book people right away and prefers to talk more first. She also asked for a $5 fee to “confirm I’m serious and genuine.”

This feels a bit unusual to me, so I wanted to ask: is this a normal process on the platform, or does this sound off?

Would really appreciate any honest feedback

    If her profile doesn't show her as a "pro" with her posted hourly rate, then yeah, scam.

    Absolute scam. She will never meet you. TOS rules prohibit scheduling or negotiating fees outside of the site message system.

    There is never a fee to move chat to Snapchat or any other offsite service. She will keep inventing small (and then larger) fees to get you to closer to accepting a booking. Then she will ghost you once you call her out on her scheme.

    Please report her to the site asap.

    Sounds scammy AF to me. I understand wanting to chat ahead of time especially for a newbie but to charge??? Red flag unless it's a n online cuddle date. On top of that I believe to charge via the website a person must register and receive permission from the website to do so. I mean honestly posing as an enthusiast and trying to charge like a pro is a major red flag to begin with. Unfortunately there are some scammers on here.

    Her profile wasn’t marked as a pro before, but since last night it’s been showing “Pro Pending Approval"

    Red flags:
    1) not a pro account = not allowed to charge
    2) wanting to take the chat off site - everyone is encouraged to keep chats on the site as it's the only way for the site to enforce anything.
    3) charging for messaging = against the rules
    4) booking off site is against the pro contract

    I highly recommend everyone (especially new users) read through the site TOS, the FAQ, the Help Center articles, the contracts for pros & clients, and all the stickied threads in the General and Pro Cuddling forums. Don't rely on your potential cuddle partner to educate you - the info is likely already out there.

    I am a very ;png time user of ciddle comfort and if the woman does not say much about them oin their profile, has 0 Karna anf says very little about themseles and do not seem yo know the rules of the site I DO NOT CONTACT THEM SINCE THAT IS A SCAM.

    We don't post people's profiles or any other details in the forum other than in exceptional circumstances, even if they have been Banned. We just say, "The account concerned has been banned." - @CuddleDuncan

    No need to post communication. The mods are responsible for any disciplinary action, not public humiliation. It might feel good to put her on blast but that gets ugly real quick.

    Also I feel all pros should have to be an enthusiast/member for some minimum period of time (3mos or more). It seems like a lot of new accounts are created on a whim.

    @zachbraff just fyi - sharing screen shots of communication and tagging people you have active disputes with is a good way to get in trouble yourself. It's best to let the mods do their thing and keep the dispute out of the forums as it tends to lead to drama and backlash, not resolution.

    You can always DM a member of the mod team if you need further clarification about the status of your report.
