    I have been blocked for:
    Being British
    Having a sense of humour
    Being sarcastic
Being a threat to someone's ego
    Being male
I am sure there is more but that's all I can think of at the mo.

  • Reasons I block people are for being transphobic or misogynistic in the forums, or being creepy in DMs. And I get blocked for pointing out their transphobia or misogyny.

  • I have blocked myself because I can be a real dick sometimes.

  • I'm brand new and was blocked at my first attempt to schedule a session with a pro near me for the following day. About a half hour after I scheduled, my son called to ask if I could take care of my sick granddaughter. I cancelled immediately after he called so the pro could rebook and she blocked me without letting me fully explain. I was disappointed since there aren't many others near me without having to drive into the city.

  • I have been blocked for:

    Being British

@cuddlyDavid HA! Me too, and I wasn't even good at "being British". Lol ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I'm barely good at being American! Lol ๐Ÿ˜‚

  • Someone blocked me for leaving them 1 star.
I was honest. They texted me 15 mins before the session started saying they woke up late, which is fine, and if she could re schedule or come later that day. I was open to the idea of working something out. There was nothing after my we could work it out reply. Next day just texted if they were ok (they were active on the site),& nothing. 5 days later I just posted a honest review then bam, ๐Ÿšซ.

  • When life hands you Blocks, play Tetris.

  • @DtheJinn This is why people rarely leave bad karma.

  • Absolutely. I think most people have experienced that at least once. Sometimes people block because of something that was said, but other times it has nothing to do with us at all. They may have gotten busy, changed their mind, met someone else, or just decided not to continue the conversation.

I've learned not to take it too personally when I don't know the reason. If someone doesn't communicate what bothered them, there's really no way to know for sure. Of course, I always try to be respectful and self-aware, but at the end of the day, not every connection is meant to continue, and that's okay.

  • @DtheJinn was this with a pro? Definitely should not have ghosted you and blocked you after. You definitely did the right thing giving the bad karma in case she does that to other guys.

  • You can always counter block . It won't probabky mean anything but you can still feel a little bit empowered

  • I was blocked for a misunderstanding with scheduling, major bummer because she was super cool and funny, made me laugh through messages. I just took it as a lesson to be better at communicating on my end.
In the end though we're all entitled to block to keep ourselves feeling safe, or sane.
Let's try to leave anger out of the equation and treat everyone here with kindness and grace, unless it's not reciprocated lol.

  • Iโ€™ve looked at certain profiles out of curiosity from something I saw them right on the forum and then to find out I have been blocked, even though I never did so much as visit their page before

  • One time someone asked for my # and then blocked me when I gave it lol

  • If Iโ€™ve been blocked I probably donโ€™t know it. I donโ€™t check profiles, i donโ€™t need to know either way.
Thereโ€™s one who was a mutual block because of an argument a few years ago. Iโ€™m actually really appreciating his comments in the forum lately but he may still be upset with me, no idea. I got over it a while ago so itโ€™s all fine, and I respect him.

  • It has happened to me a few times, but I just keep stepping and moving forward.
