  I have definitely enjoyed both .. go with the flow.
  Ive had some mazing conversations but I've also had some wonderful moments of extremely comfortable and relaxing silence

  I agree with @MeltMyWay
  I think I’d rather have whatever feels natural to happen. Some people aren’t comfortable without conversation; some only get comfortable without it. I don’t personally have a preference beyond wanting my cuddle companion to be comfortable.

  I think it depends on the person who request the cuddle session, I personally prefer to chit chat or have music on the background but people seem to prefer some music or full silence.

  I've enjoyed both. I like listening to people talk, and I like the restful quiet that can come from cuddling together.

  I like to have the tv on creek sounds or rain on a tin roof or a fireplace. I have had some great conversations and sometimes I doze off and my cuddle partner has dozed off also.
