I still haven't recovered from Christy Knowings of All That passing a few days ago. Hearing of Hayden's passing was a hell of a shock. I know her acting career was prominent around her teenage and young adult years so I've seen a lot of her around the 2000s. She's had a pretty tumultuous couple of years and it's sad for her to pass this young. It wasn't too long ago that her younger brother passed away as well I believe, such tragedy all around. I feel for her daughter who never really knew or saw much of her.
May she find the peace that has evaded her in the last few years of her life.

Very tragic. And her disclosing that story about someone putting her on a boat at sea as a young woman alone was super sad. I am fearful of the details of her passing. One of my favorite actors and one of my first crushes as a teen. Just a beautiful, talented soul gone way too soon.
She will always be the cheerleader who could save the world for me. 😔

Iirc her brother also died very young of heart issues.

Ok, so far it seems like an overdose that caused cardiac arrest. It happened at an apartment where it was her, her bf, and the bf's brother...
Now, not to speak badly against the victim because I love her in movies too. But she spoke out against her on and off again bf many times since he would injure her and she even did a restraining order. So if he was hurting her why does she keep becoming his gf again over and over? Like if my bf hurt me he is gone forever. Which one is gone forever since I still have a scar from him. And why was she even there with him like did she not beg for a restraining order? I think returning constantly and being hurt constantly made her commit suicide.

If you know anything about abusive relationships you know how hard it is to break free of them. It usually takes multiple attempts. That comes across as blaming the victim.
Suicide? I don't see any indication of suicide. She's been known to have drug problems for quite some time. Got started in Hollywood young and talked about how cocaine and prescription opioids were available everywhere all the time.
Her drug/alcohol issues are why she split from the father of her daughter, Wladimir Klitschko who got sole custody of their daughter for that reason.
To me this seems like she was probably abused as a child in Hollywood and used drugs to self medicated. Most users like this start out functional where you don't really even notice they are using but it eventually spirals out of control.
Accidental overdose is what it looks like to me.
She struggled with addiction after developing severe postpartum depression.
It might have gotten worse at that point but her illicit drug use has been going on since she was like 15. It's a ticking time bomb when drug use starts at such a young age.
@Amortentia I've seen such scenarios unfold a few times in my professional world. While I know the definitions of the things that @SunsetSnuggles mentioned, I have almost zero comprehension of the dynamics involved.
Had one case where the woman kept getting involved with abusive men - she was good about ending a given relationship, but then the very next guy would be just as abusive. No matter how much education I've gotten on the subject, I still cant understand it. Very sad.
@SunsetSnuggles yeah. I know some victims struggle to get away even when they try so I get that. These ones usually need another person to come rescue them basically since they fear for their lives trying to escape themselves. But she did escape on her own many times so just the hey lets keep trying again just confuses me. But I mean I don't actually know the whole story anyway.
@Jubal I can't understand it either. But like one guy who actually hurt me by leaving a scar he was out right away. And that was not how he was before since I look for good people but when they turn out not to be then I leave. And I normally seem to judge correctly so that one came out of the blue. But if there are females who consistently end up in an abusive relationship when the guy passed the test in the beginning as being decent it is just bad luck and deeply sad. You don't know who to trust in the end the more that happens too. And trust is important in relationships so like how can they succeed in the end then? Hmm
People who struggle with addiction often have underlying mental health issues. It's self medicating. So so sad.

Indeed @cuddlebunny4eva. Very rare for someone who starts as a child actor to come away unscathed. Nothing but predators. It doesn't get questioned enough, why are these 10, 12 year olds hanging out with grown adults with all sorts of debauchery going on.
@Jubal You may already be familiar but that is a common issue with those who have been abused...narcissists and abusers can basically smell the vulnerability and are drawn like flies. Then there are also attachment issues where real love and kindness don't feel safe. It's a perfect storm for the cycle to repeat.
