Skin on skin....

When someone mentions skin on skin, does your mind automatically assume they are seeking/offering something non platonic?

In my opinion, when the phrase “skin-on-skin” is mentioned, I think it’s wise to use a little caution—not necessarily because it means someone is seeking or offering something non-platonic, but because the phrase can be interpreted differently by different people.

Context and communication matter. If you use the term, I think it helps to be specific about what you mean and make it clear that you’re referring to platonic, mutually agreed-upon contact within established boundaries. That leaves less room for misunderstanding.

I’m curious to know how you and others view it.

  • Yes. Some people mean it in the context of legs and arms, but from what I've seen, this is most often code for naked.

  • Absolutely they are up to no good and there are also many other threads on this topic already.

  • The cuddler. Met that had this on their bio was in the context of arms and legs.

  • ….aaaaaaand banned. Didn’t take long.

  • Well, probably shouldn’t have tried to seek extra attention when you have something to hide lol

  • OP was offering full body massage in her profile so this is no surprise.
Imagine all that massage oil on a client who is fully clothed….

  • If you are going to get banned you might as well be the headline and write your own headline as the thread title. This is yellow cuddling journalism that Hearst would be proud of.

  • lol that seems to happen quite a bit, this one made it easy.

  • I was like, “I’m not even going to comment. They have “discreet” in their profile. And their profile looks sus in general.”

  • Like she’d been here for a while and sneaking under the radar obviously. It’s a weird move to draw a whole bunch of attention to yourself. Especially when even your profile pic is against the rules.

  • She made an effort to create a custom profile image/ad, and also asked people to friend her to see more pics. Somehow lasted at least three years, since she was the person who started the “Do Looks Matter?” thread. Why throw it all away today just like that by spamming threads?

  • Also crazy how many friends she had. Like it was 130+ @ProfHermes

  • Yes, a lot of guys saw her message to “add me as a friend to view more pics”. Perhaps she was hiding something juicy and the mods saw it when she was reported.

  • I think I got her banned 😎
Or someone else also reported either way high five team 🖐️

  • How would you accomm a skin on skin situation? Wearing a tank top and shorts?

  • @Jeremiaaahhh, probably you and @Carrie_Anne and others who Tampa drew attention to.

  • I assume this was going to be another creepy post that was gonna get banned. I woke up early and couldn’t sleep, lol. I figured I would check it out.

I normally wear long pants all year to cuddle. I don’t like skin to skin, I get to warm. No tank tops either. I want to be comfortable.

  • Any pro provider who has been onsite for 3 years already knows the answer to that question.

I totally get the issue with skin to skin and how to do it platonically but I genuinely believe it can help with the right rules and boundaries. I like laying with my belly against someone's back 🤗💚

  • I’m always cautious when someone asks me that… but I try to give ppl the benefit of the doubt.. but I always reiterate no nudity or sexual contact.

  • It does not mean nudity though one gets a feeling of it. Usually I think people expect short n cut sleeves n a tank top. Atleast that’s what I would think given it’s platonic site.

People call themselves pro without training. Best cuddles are platonic and skin to skin but very few people can do it. It's not even about skin. Deep loving, kind and soft embrace feels hard for most people. It reveals true kindness in others and they feel threatened because they don't have it. They are here for money(women) or playfulness(men) or more*(men). And what is virtual cuddle, really?

  • I agree 100% with @sin67 and @zoeloveshugs that this is just another form of platonic cuddling. Even though that is my preference, I don't bother mentioning it at all because of the bad connotations it brings.

  • @3gcbwu0x What a load of assumptions !

  • I mean it's kind of unavoidable at times unless your dressed in long sleeves and long pants which isn't really cuddling gear . As long as everything is above board and both parties are comfortable you should be fine

I think everyone can understand that "skin on skin" as a general concept, does not necessarily mean nude or non platonic. if you are both wearing t shirts/shorts then skin to skin inevitably happens against arms and legs. that's not how this question is used though.

When someone is in your DMs asking "do you do skin to skin", I have never encountered an example of this where that person did not mean something sexual. This question is just the start of their inquiring about pushing boundaries. This is based on my personal experiences here as well as the women I know (both enthusiast and pro).

The thread is asking about when others inquire about skin to skin. So arguing through semantics around it 'not necessarily being sexual' isn't really the point.

Because naturally occurring skin to skin will happen against arms and legs, there is absolutely no reason for someone to make any further inquiry about it. Doing so indicates that they are pushing for more. Every time.

And if your cuddler shows up in a full body suit, chances are they will already have disclosed that to you, and if they didn't, and that minimal naturally occurring touch on arms and legs is a deal breaker for you, then don't cuddle with them again. But this scenario is so unlikely to happen.

Additionally, @3gcbwu0x, Those are some pretty big assumptions. As an enthusiast I'm definitely not here for money. And the pros I know who are here, money is not their only motivation.
And I'm not even sure what your point is that other people feel threatened by having true kindness revealed to them. Also not really sure how you're defining "playfulness" but I think both me and my cuddle partners have had different levels of silly occur when we hang out, and sometimes it is just about being still and comfortable.

Just because in a certain context the phrase can have a platonic intention and meaning doesn't negate the fact that the sex trade has irrevocably polluted its use, and on a platonic site, we err on the side of caution.

  • Want to address four concerns raised

    1) To the very few enthusiast women, I forgot you might exist. Sorry!

    2) Playfulness- jokes, goofiness, silliness and anything it can mean. Men, good kind and bad kind, are here for playfulness.

    3) I can understand how it can look if someone directly asks "skin to skin" without clarifying what he means. I haven't and wouldn't ask like that. There are other better words and ways to ask. People could show cuddling sketches, showing clothing, positions and movements.

4). Being close to someone, looking in the eyes and feeling deep platonic love is difficult for most people.
