I highly recommend everyone (especially new users and pros) read through the site TOS, the FAQ, the Help Center articles, the contracts for pros & clients, and all the stickied threads in the General and Pro Cuddling forums.
Added note to give credit where credit is due. @cuddlefaery is the one who put this together with all its links.
After that, you can peruse the forums, look through profiles. I recommend actually reading profiles. And remember its the internet and take care of yourself and your own safety.
