I think cuddle comfort email addresses for pros would be awesome, just as a note. Not sure how we could do it unless we got rid of the chat function and made it more like email.
Hi not sure if someone might have suggested this before, but it would help me if there could be a notification on the CuddleComfort app showing that there's a message.. just like when there's a one on my text message icon to let me know that I have 1 unread message. This way I'm not only notified by email or by having to open the app all the time.
Whoa, we have an app?
I notice "app" seems be interchangeable with "website" these days. It can be a little confusing.
posting a profile picture must be a must! don't even let people get in here without profile picture. it is so annoying that someone knows who you are and how you look like, but u sit and chat with an Alien. please make it like other networking apps, picture verification must be added
Just a thought....would be nice to have a personalized signature that popped up after messages or when someone sends a pro a message automatically. If I’m out of town, family issues, health issues and am not available for that week it would be nice to have a prompt way of communicating that. I don’t think people read profiles, especially lengthy ones. ☺️ A pro could highlight certain things in their profile by making it an automatic message so that the person messaging them gets it as an instant response to the message they sent.
Under "Social" on the home page, the list of recent forum posts doesn't seem to be up to date (it looks about 2-3 days old).
It's up-to-date for me... strange. Maybe this relates back to that cookie corruption issue. Can you try clearing your cookies or opening in Incognito to see if that might fix it?
I think the profile IS important. I don't want to cuddle with someone who smokes and drinks often, also a lot of people have allergies to certain animals. So i think its important to know what type of pets they own. Also it lets us know what days of the week and times they are available, and it's good to know if they own a car or not. I say leave that section alone. I would add MORE questions to fill in.
@Mark "Maybe this relates back to that cookie corruption issue. Can you try clearing your cookies or opening in Incognito to see if that might fix it?"
Clearing cookies worked -- thanks.
Ok great, please let me know if it happens again.
On a recently closed thread, The Best Things in Life Are Free, I was publicly reprimanded for profanity and my post edited to remove a word that rhymes with "witching." On the same thread a few posts below mine, a male member used a word that rhymes with "truck", replacing the u with a *. No reprimand, no nothing. People assume I used a much stronger word than I did, yet another person who did use a much stronger word gets carte blanche. Consistency in moderating would be an improvement.
@BlueIris I too notice that there are many posts with curse words, but only every once in a while do they get removed or edited. I don't have a problem with language when not being used to insult, however you are right it should be consistent. And if the post does get cut or edited, I don't feel it is necessary to reprimand the poster for it in said post that is being edited. That is best done in a private message.
@BlueIris Agreed. Surprised to hear of a pro getting more strict moderating. Usually it's the other way around it feels. I feel for you. I hate being edited... Makes my skin crawl. ? Anyway, everyone should be equal. Males and females. Pros and non-pros.
I'm not going to always catch everyone's individual comments as far as edits to remove profanity. It has thankfully been a rare scenario, so if you see the comment in question, so are you free to report it.
On the flip side, once I see enough triggers to close a discussion (and @Mark has requested that I minimize this practice), I usually don't edit any more comments in that discussion unless we're dealing with a specific person publicly accused of wrongdoing.
@Candy26 - the reasons why some people prefer not to post a profile photo have been gone over in some depth in several forum threads. I suggest you go back and look and educate yourself on the subject. If you don't like profiles with no photo, why are you communicating with these members? No-one is forcing you to interact with a member whose profile has no photo.
Is there a way for others to view your bookings? Not the names of the people you are booked with but just checking your availability? I personally add it into my about me section. But it would be easier i feel for people looking for certain days to see if a pro is even available. Maybe even filter pros to their availability. A calendar of sorts that keeps track of your bookings and clients can view your schedule to see if your compatible with theirs. Might trim down on some of the people who get upset about you being unavailable during their days. It would be one less person i have to disapoint lolz. I havent been on the non pro side to know what exactly it is they see. Ik they have the availability of days but i know many people fluctuate from week to week. Would be nice to be able to mark a calendar stating 'open, booked, pending, unavailable' instead of modifying my profile and hoping people actually take the time to see it. Maybe if a booking offer is made it moves a time block into pending. Then moves to booked after the appointment is confirmed.
Maybe a clothing preference section? I find it a constant question by the people i cuddle if they are allowed to wear shorts or have their shirt off. As well as questions on what ill be wearing (really i dont think they read the site rules at all)
Maybe even prior to a person creating a profile at the top it just states 'this is not a dating site or a sex finder site' might avoid some people trying to utilize the site to find hookups. That or where it states the website name at the top add 'for clean professional cuddling' r some sort of slogan along those lines. Idk few suggestions i guess. Ill keep a better eye around the site. I used to do website testing as a job.
Mandatory PROFILE PHOTOS please! ?
Anonymous, blank, pictureless profiles are just creepy. ?
@VictoriaRose
I disagree.
There are plenty of legitimate reasons to not have a profile picture.
All that REQUIRING a photo will do is create more false photos being used.
Look up thispersondoesnotexist.com to see what I mean.
@CuddlyPup That feature will probably eventually happen as I agree it would be nice to have. It's not particularly high priority though as I suspect most Pros here probably either offer their services over multiple channels or simply are not active enough for an integrated calendar to be of that much value. By the way, it's worth noting that someone cannot send a proposal that clashes with an existing booking. So that part of your suggestion is already in place.
The like and unlike button concept over the comments for the forum.
It would be nice if there was a chat room and maybe even a messenger system in place.
Forum upload feature is back. This is now an internal function which means we'll store the images, not a third party.

Yay! Thank you @Mark !
Maybe a sort feature for the Cuddle Pros based on price range.
OK, how about separating the pros in some really obvious way, so that they are on a separate page, so women like myself, one of the few non-pros left, don't keep getting requests for pricing and availability that have nothing to do with getting to know a person, finding common interests and chemistry leading to a connection that doesn't feel like prostitution? Or just make it an all-pro site, like the gentleman who contacted me today thought it was, and I'll give up and go away, because this site is not working for any woman who doesn't have something to sell.
@snuggleup101 I suspect people are skim reading your profile. You might want to avoid referencing yourself as a "professional", particularly in the first sentence. See if that helps...
@snuggleup101 members searching for cuddlers have the option to only show pros or to hide pros if they want filtering. The problem is that some members attempt to cuddle for hire without being approved as pros. Almost daily we have untagged pros being brought to our attention.
I think the sexual orientation is the most irrelevant part, since it's supposed to be platonic cuddles. The part of who you're willing to cuddle with should be adequate. But I do like knowing if people smoke cigs or not for potential cuddlers. And I am an atheist and largely prefer to be friends with non-religious people because religion is really upsetting to me, so I see the value. I see the value in the car part too, as it has to do with availability, although people could potentially just get a lyft, that may be less accessible to a lot of people.
Hey @Mark this is definitely getting very English teacher-y of me. But then I am an English English teacher (or at least Creative Writing Tutor).
The acceptable plurals of Forum (singular) are either Forums or Fora. Ideally I believe your should change your "Forum" section heading to "Forums". In line with the high quality and attention to detail of the rest of the site.
Many thanks for the continuing great work on all our behalves by the way.
All best Henry
