@Kabocha I was just using a Canon G16, nothing elaborate. It's great for low light scenes.
It lets you do star trails too (this one took half an hour):

Warm, torrential southern rains pounding my body until I'm soaked within seconds.
Icy snow melt swishing around me as the hot summer sun kisses me to keep me warm.
Giant, fluffy snowflakes tickling my eye lids and cheeks as the light glitters across their friends.
Fogs so dense as to be otherworldly.
Clouds wrapping around you on a mountain top.
Winds assisting at your back on a journey.
Lying in a bed of flower and grass and forgetting you aren't one...
The first dip of your fingers and toes into a body of water.
Watching the celestials move with the clouds and remembering how insignificant we are.
Coming across wild animals and exchanging trust instead of fear. Watching their little habits and learning.
Fish nibbling my toes.
Water running through my hair and across my scalp in a caress.
Trees whispering as you quietly move through them, leaves crunching and bending beneath bare toes.
Birds chirping and chattering at dawn.
Butterflies flittering and flashing on the breeze.
Soil and sand in the palm of a hand.
The first leaves and buds of spring.
The smell of seasons turning when I first walk out the door. The crisp, leafy, decaying, sleeeepy scent of fall. The chilly, frigid bite in your nose of winter. The damp, green, floral of spring. The toasted earth and animalistic scent of summer.
The amber waves of grass and grain swaying outside my windows.
One could go on and on about nature.

In April I had a picnick at the Japanese park in Amstelveen. The Japanese cherry trees were in bloom and it was beautiful. I'd recommend it for a cuddle, but it does get crowded when the trees are in bloom there.
