New sub-forum

I've created a forum section for professional cuddling to help reduce the tension between those joining this website for social networking and those here for professional services.

For those that have a general dislike of the profession and its market value, please avoid this section rather than interrupting existing threads. That being said, respectful debate is welcome when done so in threads that invite it.

Let me know if you have any ideas for good sticky topics here.

    The one thing I dont like about this becoming a sub forum is that it's hidden from the main page. Unless you know to look here, you're going to miss this section. There is a small group of regulars who are on the boards often so they'll find this forum but most casual users will miss it.

    I don't like it either but if the topics show on the main page then it upsets those who don't like professional cuddling and therefore results in frequent skirmishes. I could link to the forum in the social box but that still means people won't be immediately aware of new activity. Open to ideas...

    I've talked to quite a few buddies on the site and they all thought that several threads had been deleted and said they didn't notice this tab until I mentioned it to them. I actually thought the same thing until someone pointed it out to me that they had been moved.

    It's a smart business move on your part Mark because you have successfully semi-hidden the threads that expose the issues that professional cuddling presents. If that's thrown in newbies faces, it may scare them off.

    I love cuddling and completely support pro cuddling otherwise I wouldn't have seen 17 pros over the past two years. I do think though that things are far from perfect and there is still a lot of hashing out that has to happen. Moving these threads to a sub forum prevents all of this though because most people don't even realize these threads are here. 

    Having these threads on the main page may damage your revenues though so I can understand why you made the move. It however does not help with the issues involved in pro cuddling.

    The forums have died since the move was made and there's almost no point of participating in the forums anymore.

    Yeah the move was to protect the image of this website as a social network for cuddling which is its unique appeal and primary purpose. I'm not sure what was more likely to scare off new members, pro discussions dominating a website that is promoted as free, or the fighting that was occurring as a result. You don't expect to come to a cuddling website and see war breaking out.

    I'll continue to give this thought because I agree we do need to improve forum visibility.

    more to point you hiding.the post where people have valid points and poke holes and milk of certain pro incentives .... What ever works for you .. and yes forums have died down coz you hidden the valid ones under the carpet ...do what you got to do .... it would take take long for some newbies to piece one and two together anyway

    @brains4 I would have thought you would be happy having these discussions moved to its own section. It means you don't have to be bothered by an industry you don't participate in and appear to have disdain for.

    hahaha yea because it not professional 'per say just easy buck thing which tarnishes a part.of human interaction...but then again it also in your interest

    It's also worth remembering that professional cuddling is the sole funding for this website.

    I love the idea of having a pro section! I think it would be a good idea to keep access exclusive to pro members only. Would love to see training, advice, safety and protocol materials developed and made available. Would love to contribute as I gain more practical experience in this wonderful industry. I'm already in love! And yes, pro cuddling is important for a number or reasons, one of them being the support for this site! Which I love btw. Mark, you have done an excellent job to create an intuitively designed, user friendly platform. It is by far the best structure I have seen so far. Excited to join everyone as we continuously develop, evolve and improve. :D

    Thank you guys. I think this sub-forum should be open to pros and clients. I think both generally have a lot of respect for each other. The issues on the main forum were primarily from people who have never been and will never be a client.

    I appreciate there are reasons you might want a private forum so that will remain a consideration.

    Im a new member, i like having a somewhat closed door on this from just anyone. Most people are pretty resourceful these days and if they want to find something online they will I mean a5 year old and find things on the computer that adults can't so I don't know I like the idea of it being a little bit off to the right ...thank you Mark
