Non pros shouldn't be allowed to leave me bad karma

edited March 2017 in General
This rude nutty woman named oana left me bad karma. I didn't do anything but block her for being rude.
I never met her and don't intend to.

I agree. Bad karma from someone you haven't met can make a pro decide to not book you and you can miss out on a session and mark misses out on his cut for hiring a pro. Things like that hurt the site.

I don't believe you should be allowed to leave karma if you have never met the person for a session. I'm not sure exactly how to control this but having a person that you have never met leaving you bad karma is not right.

Welk what about when you inquire about an appointment and get no replies? Seems many pros are fake on here or are dead profiles
  • At the very least I should be able to reply to her feedback cause she's fake news incarnate.
  • Jeez I'm sorry you have to deal with that, it may seem miniscule but karma shouldn't exactly work like that. Karma is a very powerful thing on this site and to just be petty and give someone bad Karma when you never met them is quiet crappy :/. On a side note, wish I could get more clients hehe

Karma isn't real although the Bible shows us the aspects of Karma CAN(not always) be true at times.
  • They're not talking of eastern religion karma. It's this site's reputation system that happens to also be called "karma" that is being discussed.
  • The thing is. I was talking to her about cuddling and she has like no idea when she is free except same day notice. So I told her that's not going to work. And she rudely says something back using abusive language. So I blocked her.
Then she retaliates with karma that makes no sense.

@Greenearth her Karma should be removed especially since you never even met her.
  • That is a load of bullshit that she retaliated you in such a way @greenearth :/. Same day notice is way too soon and impractical, especially in a business environment. I would, at the latest, give a client a 3 day advance and even then I would feel bad as that is too late for me. But because you stated it didn't work, which obviously it wouldn't, and her to retaliate is just bad ethics.
  • @greenearth  good news! Her bad karma review has been removed! HUGE HUG!!!!
  • Hell yeah ^-^, that is amazing news cuz no one deserves that kind of disrespect
  • So glad!! :)   woohoo  Mark is awesome

    Happy for you my friend
  • If a 'pro' acts unprofessional, then you should be able to leave karma to that effect, even if you have never met them. Yes, this happened to me. She contacted me and requested to be friends, without indicating that she was a pro, and no indication at that time on her profile. I wrote her a couple of of times, the second time being to tell her I don't hire pros. She took something I said the wrong way, wrote me a very rude rant, and blocked me, without giving me a chance to explain the misunderstanding. That kind of unprofessional behavior deserves karma that I was unable to give, because we hadn't exchanged enough messages. Two from me, and three from her apparently wasn't enough.
