  • No really! This is me! I don't look like this anymore? Ah well, he's in there somewhere. : |

@smoothest The general consensus is that profile photos should be up-to-date and accurately reflect the person you're meeting. If they look nothing like the photo they've posted and it's an obvious fake, or a photo from 1979, you can flag the profile for a mod to have the final decision as to whether or not their images need to be changed. I do have to ask though, is 20 lbs really that big a difference? I can understand 50 being a big deal as that can drastically alter someone's appearance. In my opinion someone not taking a new photo for a few months or even once a year is hardly a deception. 1-20 sounds like less than a year's weight gain.

Also keep in mind someone using older photos isn't necessarily trying to be deceptive on purpose. Maybe they're not good with taking photos, maybe they don't like having photos taken, maybe they don't have a phone or camera (yes, people like this still exist), maybe they have low self-esteem and the image they've selected makes them feel better about themselves. There are so many reasons a person could be going about their photos this way. All you can really do is ask if photos are up to date if it's a dealbreaker for you.

    or a photo from 1979

    But @Catloaf, what if they're a time-traveller from 1979? Wouldn't their 1979 photo technically be up to date? :P

If the person booking with me was a time traveler...they surely can keep their money and receive a 4 hour cuddle from me, absolutely free of charge. The payment is this: letting me use their powers or their machine. I want to go back to childhood. When Kraft Dinner probably had yellow dye in it and didn't taste of murky golden sadness as much as it does today.

  • I suppose a time traveler can pay a pro for one hour and then keep going back over and over again

  • I think that would break causality.

  • Saw a greetings card recently. A butterfly in a car has been pulled over by a traffic cop, who is looking at the driver's license, with a picture of a caterpillar.
The butterfly is saying, "Sorry, it's an old photo".

  • My hair was once down past the middle of my back and beard was much more less kempt than it is now. When I had my old ID I would get a double take or two

  • I notice many men who have messaged me do not have a photo on their profile.

Ditto @jm214 and @littermate ... and then when you ask for one, they say "I'm married." Awesome. You make that work for you while I go cuddle with someone who doesn't mind posting/sending a pic.

  • I had a job interview yesterday with someone who was clearly at LEAST 25 years older in person than his pictures posted on his company's website lol :#

@smoothest but you don't even have a photo?... idk seems kind of an odd point to be making for someone who doesn't even have a photo posted. 🤷‍♀️

  • Stop the old picture madness

  • @smoothest , I would be more concerned that the person was not who she said she was rather than having an old picture. As long as the picture is reasonably representative of the person who you were scheduled to meet and they are pleasant, who cares?

  • Many are posting old or suggestive photos and deliberately lying about age.

Personally I only send photos to those who might want to meet.

Seems like this site is getting to be more and more about pros deliberately not being upfront and or trying to circumvent the site by not booking here.

  • At the same time I understand the pros desire to not book on this site.

  • I hope nobody thinks that of me. I feel I look very different in person. Many people have told me I look better in person although I don’t believe them. Definitely a bit different though.

In person I look like a cross between @2dogmom , @JasonCuddles , and @MissVeronica if all three of them were to take the physical attributes of Jason Bateman and splice it with the genes a sweatered bearded dragon on stilts

Here is an old picture of me. I mean, it will take a few years before I get there, but here ya go.

  • Why not use a picture of an NFL superstar? No ones going to notice that nothing matches.Besides you could always say that he couldn't make it and I'm standing in for him so you wouldn't be disappointed. Then after the initial shock run like hell and hopefully you won't be caught, shamed and banned forever...

  • I guess it's time to tell you guys why I don't have a picture posted. I'm really a sloth.

  • [Deleted User]BigHugsPA (deleted user)

@littermate LOL! And yet sloths are cute, in no hurry, and utterly cuddlable.

  • @BigHugsPA And totally smelly, so I hear! I like your adjectives and will shower for the right cuddle-buddy. Haha. <3

  • @littermate So you have monthly bowel movements and grow moss?

  • @pmvines I try to be regular. The moss comes at no extra charge.

  • @pmvines You handsome devil you 🤣

  • If a pic is wildly different it gives me pause not because I want a hotter partner but because it just starts things off on the wrong foot, which would make it harder to relax and enjoy the session.

I don't have a profile pic because reverse image searches or even just six degrees of Kevin Bacon make it too likely someone I know will find it. While cuddling is becoming more acceptable, it would still raise eyebrows among family, friends, and even potential employers. The thought of even having that conversation with certain people is exhausting. :)

  • @ WiseTraveller
Completely agree about the searching concern. I quit drinking over 20 years ago, and sometimes have to make out that I'm a reformed alcoholic, for that to be socially acceptable.
In some social circles, it is more acceptable for a man to have a one -night stand with a stranger, or even an alleyway meet with a street walker ; than to admit one is happy, even happier, to meet with someone of the opposite gender, without emptying one's scrotum.
Some people just don't like those who are different, because rapport is more difficult ; even if it means they can be trusted to hold their beer/wife/daughter.
From about puberty, males will bond by agreeing of a passer-by/model/actress "I'd give her one" ; so those who properly belong on this site, aren't just beating the evolutionary urge, but decades of social conditioning. Those who can't manage that, will of course claim that those who can, are in some way weaker.

  • @geoff1000 100% agree - great points.
