What is the worst movie you've ever seen?

I have my pick. The movie is called Troll 2, and not a single troll in sight.

  • I’m not sure if worst movie of all time, but recently I watched Tenet & I really didn’t like it, didn’t understand what the hype was about / they went too left field & the movie lost me around 40 minutes in lol

  • Toys (1992). I went to see this with my dad, and as far as I remember, this is the only movie we ever walked out on. Robin Williams is a great actor though (RIP).

  • Freddy Got Fingered was pretty bad.

  • Oh gods I'm a bad B movie buff, this question has got to be my kryptonite :( I'll get back to you after coffee this requires serious thought.

    The Hobbit trilogy.

  • Maggie (2015) I expect it to be good since it starred Arnold Schwartzenager and Abigail Breslin but the plot was so drawn out and terrible.

I did not like the remade movie “ flight of Phoenix”. Oh yeah it had some special effects with the plane crash , but , at the climax , Dennis Quaid recited the punch line from the original movie . He blew it . It sounded like he was just reading lines from a script . It was not delivered with the dramatic effect that jimmy stewart had in the original . That film should be snipped up into little pieces frame by frame and left on the cutting room floor.

    @Mike403
    Troll 2 is epically bad.
Have you seen The Room ?

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Room

    From Wikipedia:
“ A number of publications have labeled The Room as one of the worst films ever made. An assistant professor of film studies was the first to describe The Room as ‘the Citizen Kane of bad movies.’[3] “

  • Attack of the killer tomatoes, LOL

  • Uh, The Room, obviously.

  • Dumb and Dumber. The only good thing I can say about it is it lived up to it's name. My brother wanted to see it, meanwhile I felt myself get stupider while watching it.

  • @BrianL FINALLY someone who shares my opinion of that movie!! Gah I couldn't even get to the half way point. I swear I could feel my already limited I.Q. dropping as it went on lol

  • Too many to even make a list. The amount of funding that has been spent on useless filmmaking could have solved world hunger by now.

  • Any movie Will Ferrell has ever been in ( the Wedding Crashers can be the exception to make the rule)

I've been pretty good at avoiding bad movies. However, the absolute worst thing I've seen in recent memory is Star Trek: Picard. Yes, I know it's not a movie. Still, it is slow, dull... you'd have to pay me at least $1000 an episode to begin to care. How Patrick Stewart got involved with this is beyond me.

I got as far as the 5th episode and turned it off midway through. Dreadful. Immediately cancelled my subscription to CBS all access. Next time I'll come up with something more enjoyable...like sticking my finger in the pencil sharpener.

  • My Dinner With Andre....Almost 2 hour movie with two guys having a conversation during dinner.

  • @BrianL @NightShift39 I think the thing about Dumb and Dumber is it's the type of movie that's supposed to be so bad that it's good. I don't think it's the worst movie I've seen..

  • @tjalex As a longtime Star Trek fan (and The Next Generation was my favorite Star Trek series), I decided to watch Picard. I did think it was a bit slow, though it seems to be the norm that pretty much all TV shows these days are serial, long drawn-out stories done over the whole season. Overall I think Picard wasn't bad, and more enjoyable than season 1 of Star Trek: Discovery.

Even Star Trek: The Next Generation wasn't that great in its first couple seasons. I think it got really good starting with season 3. So I'm willing to give Picard (and even Discovery) a chance, as they might hit their stride later on. I think Discovery is getting better with each season so far.

  • “Frogs”... hands down

  • “VelociPastor”. However bad you think it sounds...it’s worse. Best movie night ever though if you have alcohol and some friends to laugh with.

    Deer Hunter or Goodbye World

  • @FlyingToaster while I assume that was the INTENT of the movie it failed MISERABLY in achieving that goal

  • Hmm too many choices Bugs, Ants, Biker Sluts from hell, Vampire Zombies from hell, Killer Cannibals from outer space, any of the Ghoulies or Critters movies, the list goes on and on lol.

  • Dragonball Evolution=TRASH!!

  • So many. New & old. Agree "Attach of the Killer Tomatoes" is a classic. Another classic old one is "Attack of the 50 foot Woman". Best bad line in any bad movie: Women turned gigantic by radiation, destroying everthing looking for unfaithful husband who's in a bar & unaware of what's happened. Frantic guy finds husband & yells: "Your wife's tearing up the town looking for you!"

  • Faces of Death. Monkey murder for entertainment?

  • edited December 2020

@FunCartel the director has come out to say that apart from some of the footage taken from actual news videos and.crime scenes, everything was actually staged. The monkey brains were actually comprised of cauliflower and other special effect ingredients, and the monkey was indeed not being killed or actually dead. the one used in brain eating scene wasn't real . You can also tell by all the cut away and spliced looking scenes that it is isn't really happening. But when I was a teen watching that for the first time I sure did believe it! The satanic cannibal blood orgy scene really got under my skin lol

  • Tree of Life..........end thread now

  • Plan 9 From Outer Space. . 'nough said! $=[
