  • Congratulations @NightShift39! 😀

I can't say I'm surprised, you write a lot of good posts.

Lurkers! Come on in, the water's lovely.

  • @CuddleDuncan well I write a lot of posts I don't know about good though lol just honest. To quote buffy fire bad, tree pretty, burning tree? Head hurts! heh

  • Hi there, just wanted to add my experience so far as a new professional. While I haven’t had any messages so far, I’m just reading through the threads and realizing how warm and welcoming everyone is. It’s really lovely! Maybe participating in more threads could help you while we wait for the pandemic to end? Sending well wishes :)

  • Pre-pandemic, I met several folks on here.

Since March, I've spoken with four people on the phone. Several video chats.

Looking forward to later 2021, continued vaccine rollouts, and physically meeting with people again.

Finding cuddlers' anywhere near my age group is impossible. Maybe a senior cuddling site??

Unfortunately for me the accurate answer is no. My best effort was sending unique messages to fourteen (14) enthusiasts in my chosen area, zero of whom have replied. I hope the pandemic is the only reason they haven’t. I only message each person once, and if I don’t hear back within a week, I assume they’re not interested and refrain from persisting.

  • Not yet but looking forward to it!

  • @littermate I’m not taking your last 2 cents ... it’s the holidays

  • @APV zero out of fourteen is actually a pretty respectable rate. 🙄

The reason for the few replies is the ratio of men to women: do searches on men and women in your area and look at the difference in numbers. In my area the ratio is about 7:1 and I have spoken to women who have [temporarily] left the site simply because of the volume of messages they received: not the content, just the sheer volume of messages was overwhelming.

You are right not to persist: no reply is technically a species of response, and the meaning is clear.

Keep trying. Learn from other men's profiles, and the forum. Try different kinds of messages. Consider cuddling with a pro to gain experience. Don't target replies, they are a bonus: target improving the lives of your recipients, and making yourself a better writer.

Hey Duncan... I have already done plenty of research on how NOT to treat women. I used to watch Maury to get ideas on what to avoid...until another man with whom I share a first name got told he wasn’t the father and profanely demanded an apology he never got (at least not on American national television). I downloaded the audio from that YouTube clip and used Audacity to trim it down to just Maury telling dude, “Adam, you are NOT the father!” I don’t wanna hear the F-bomb that other Adam likely dropped behind the bleep tone nor even the bleep tone itself. If that was me I would’ve never yelled at or cussed her. I would have just ran out of the studio and called an Uber back to my separate hotel room to hide until the plane comes to take me from Stamford, Connecticut, U.S. to my chosen area shown on my profile here.

As for hiring a pro, I do so at least a few times a year to make sure I don’t get as desperate as I got leading up to the times I slept with a cheater in 2015. Now I know I can just throw money at the problem and get my need fulfilled no questions asked. No need to risk my health, safety or American freedom to get the affection I need.

  • @Bristolman43 Yes I have. In the alleged words of Abraham Lincoln, "Fall down 7 times stand up 8."
