  • I finally decided to take advantage of my employer's education benefits. They pay for my tuition and books up to $7,500 per year.

  • Awesome, yes do it, my company pays 8k a year and I use every Penney of it.

I've been enjoying math so much, I made it all the way up through calc 3 when I was still a freshman. I decided to major in electric engineering while mathematics be my minor.

  • Riding out a really bad thunderstorm and watching the flash food warnings pop up on my phone.

  • You get food warnings, wish we did would save the sore stomach and head in the mornings, Had a Bombay ring of fire a night ago and man have I paid for it over the last day or two.
Love and fun, John and his trees, Auckland NZ.

  • LOL, darn those typos --- I meant flash flood warnings. Part of the storm. But having had a tuna melt in the cafeteria today, I supposed a food warning wouldn't have hurt either.

  • All good fun @quietman775.
    Love and friendship, John NZ.

  • I usually wake up between 10 and noon, but today I had to get up at 4am for a 5am call time to work on Orville, a Seth McFarland parody of Star Trek. I worked a 10 hour day, but did amazingly well till I got home, and bathed the dirt makeup off of me, then I crashed for an hour or two. Been handling accumulated messages since then. I wish I could find something to work on, on a regular basis. Getting ready to go to bed early now.

I was sunbathing in the back yard but the one neighbor who can watch me from the upstairs bedroom came home so I came inside. It was kind of cool out today anyway.

  • Checking messages here, whilst on break at work

  • This website is blocked at my work. It classifies it as a 'dating' site.

Mulling over why people play so many games in relationships. When a woman takes interest and approaches me, a days later chat should, feasibly, not go as abbreviated. When asked what her weekend plans were, I really did not expect to hear something to the effect of "going on extended date with different guy." It may not surprise you that the crux of my reply was "I think we should take a break from chatting."

  • @VIPirate Why take a break from chatting, just because she is being honest about going on a date?

@I_am_Polylover There's a bit more to it than that which I'd rather not get into very deeply. Let's just say what happened was a tad deceitful and she likely knew it had the potential to be hurtful, judging by her immediate apology, as well as understanding and accepting my position. I respect alternative lifestyles, but this situation was very much sprung on me.

Curled up with a fluffy pillow and listening to Steven Universe songs to decompress after a painfully stressful day of apartment hunting.

The sun is bright, our shirts are clean, we're sitting up above the sea-- c'mon and share this jam with me!

Peach or plum or strawberry, any kind is fine, you see-- c'mon and share this jam with me!~

  • chatting to people about atomic blonde film I saw last night.

  • I just got home from seeing a play called MONO/POLY. It was an excellent poly play, and I highly recommend that you see it if you get the chance. I think it was overly critical of ALL monogamous marriages, but still a very good play.

  • Getting ready for an appointment

  • Where are the new people coming to this site from? Just in the past few days I have had strange guys messaging me. There was one today who messaged me about cuddling. Then when I sent him this site's client agreement going over the rules, he messaged me back,"No thanks. You're not my type." and went off on some spiel about how he was looking for a cuddle buddy, not sex. Nowhere in my profile does it say anything about sex nor am I interested in that and I certainly did not bring it up, so it's strange that he would bring it up like that. Weird.

  • What about the ones who send friend requests without a single message?

Watching Bruno Mars' "That's What I Like" and trying to perform his dance moves.

    I have a ways to go. ;)

I'm terribly sorry you are having a rough time. I don't know when you'll be back on since it's been a month but regardless if you do come back; I'm very empathetic of your plight. I know it feels wonderful to vent out here but I always like to suggest applications like "Matter" or "BetterHelp" I've been on both, one is a place to vent anonymously and the other is an (online 24/7 therapist- I have one and it's amazing!). Or if you ever need to vent I think Muttr could also be beneficial. I hope things looked up for you since your last post. It's weird, I looked on my phone and initially it popped up on a random page then I actually skimmed the page for no apparent reason... but I did oddly feel I needed to reply. They should make a word defining deja- vu and a reason for everything all in one.

  • I just drove to Tampa. I'm just hanging out by the pool, enjoying the weather.

Just finished the first episode of Black Mirror. Fun and interesting but a bit preachy and on the nose at times. Watching episode 2 and I'm irked I don't get to see the appealing gal from episode 1 for 7-12 more episodes. :/ She kind of reminded me of Christina Hendricks.

  • I just finished up the new Defenders show on Netflix. It was a good group team up for those that have watched the other Marvel shows on Netflix, even though most of the big plot points weren't a huge shock. Still a good binge watch.

  • Having lunch and a little Mexican restaurant on Whittier blvd. I hadn't been on Cuddle Comfort for a few weeks because my dog has been sick so I was dealing with that. Looks like the message boards have made a come back, it's really nice to see.

  • Wondering if my child will ever learn to stop arguing about everything

  • First day of classes this semester. I'm taking a calculus based physics course. I love math.

@pmvines You will grow more wise as your child gets older, i.e., makes more errors. The lightbulb will come on eventually.

@Mike403 @Morpheus Nerds are the best!
