Does anyone actually interact in this site?

@Mike403 I think due to how out of control internetting has gotten, most just expect others to exist somewhere on the internet.
I don't have a Facebook account either, but I am active elsewhere on the internet.

I had one guy admit to Google Reverse on my photos just as a precaution (before meeting me in person), which is fine. Lol

I asked him to explain the whole Google Reverse thing to me and he says it just pulls up any other active accounts that I have with said photos of myself. 😁😊

He said that he was delighted to find out that I was one of the few HONESTLY OPEN Individuals out there, so he was more comfortable actually meeting me in person.

And we did meet each other in person. 😁

Lol! I have never Google Reversed anyone's photos😄, apparently my direct approach and my keeping things grounded in reality (eventhough others choose to engage me with annoyingly flirty fantasies🙄😌) is enough to scare most Dudebros with unsavory ideas away.😊

I learned that "directness stuff"😐 from my mother. Lol! Her directness is more DIRECT then my own directness.😄😉

  • @Katota - I have a Facebook account but it's freaking depressing now. I never communicate with anyone on it anymore. It's just people sharing pictures of what they had for dinner or some meme that they found that is false 75% of the time.

  • @TxTom - I remember this thing called the telephone. It was pretty quick at connecting with people you actually cared about.

  • @Mike403 Ah I see. I have a very OLD inactive Facebook account, there's no photos no interaction there.. NOTHING! It would be great if it was automatically deleted, but that's not how that site works...So!😊

  • I have zero social media. Too many people complaining negatively about it as well as it affecting too many people’s mental health. I stay away. The people who I would love to hear from have my info.

  • I think I still have a MySpace out there somewhere.

  • @lonelytauros Great memes and video. 🤣🤣🤣

Anything that requires me to have social media in order to participate isn't the right thing for me.

    @CuddleHugs01234 well I am the meme/gif/cuddle/jedi master lol 😂

It's hard to have much of a conversation here. Even if your a nice guy most people will say hi but that's about it because generally speaking they think all guys are up to no good. I don't have a lot on my profile and I'm sure that causes suspicion with most that I try to talk to but... Occasionally there are a few that will chat just to chat.. But that is rare.... Crazy people make it tough for the ones that need to be discreet and don't have a lot of info out there

  • @niceguy77h - This website is like a buffet for sexual predators. Don't take it personal when a woman takes steps to protect themselves. They don't known you from a hole in the ground. Anyone can put up an act to gain somebody's trust.

Just respecting other people and not just worrying about your own needs will go a long way.

  • @niceguy77h I do not know one woman on this site that hasn’t had their boundaries violated by a male cuddler at some point. And that is scary for them, so it is understandable if they do not roll out the red carpet immediately for you. But I can say that once you earn their trust and demonstrate that you respect them and their boundaries, most of these ladies are a delight to be with in my experience, and I have been with probably over 200 different ladies at this point.

But I would add that I also say no and walk away from some prospective cuddlers for my own personal reasons, so this does go both ways.

  • @niceguy77h posted "the ones that need to be discreet"

Is this because your wife doesn't know you're here?

  • @Grimman24 and the others that only contact "non Pro" cuddlers.....get a grip. You do not have a picture or Karma...why would anyone contact you back....too much of a risk for a non-pro!!!
Take the risk, upload a picture and spend a couple of dollars and have a wonderful session with a Pro; get Karma...then maybe a non-pro will respond.

  • @TxTom regarding the net effect of social media,
It varies person to person and platform to platform.

It has fueled body image issues for many people (some demographics much more than others but I am not going to open that can of worms). It has also convinced many people of they are right about everything because algorithms will fill your feed with people you agree with so it seems like “everyone” is in agreement with you except for “those people” who just won’t listen to reason (if they were reasonable they would obviously agree with us 😂).

My social media consists solely of LinkedIn which I only use for work related purposes. My LinkedIn account led to me getting hired to speak at a conference in Latin America a couple years ago and has helped me find consulting clients. I avoid political discussions or sharing anything about my personal life on the platform.

  • @lonelytauros You are the meme master. You are the best! :)

  • @JohnR1972 Perhaps I should change my username to One Of Those People.

It'd fit me like a glove on this site.

  • So since we regularly hear about men over here not respecting boundaries, I would like to mention that I was recently made aware of another issue that I don't recall seeing mentioned here. I already heard from two pros that men walked out of a session without paying!! "Because you also had a good time". and was told by one of them that the person wasn't even banned after they were reported??!!

  • @Sooson - Pros are supposed to take payment before the session begins.

  • @Mike403 Not sure what you are you trying to say here. If she doesn't ask for it at the beginning of the session, it is ok not to pay her in the end?

  • @Sooson - Not sure when I suggested that. I'm stating an easy solution to avoid that issue. There are a lot of non-ethical people who will take advantage of any opportunity.

  • I was never asked to pay at the beginning of a session. not even once. so I assume it is a common practice. not paying is still theft. and that is the concern, and also that apparently people are not being punished for that when reported.

  • @Sooson - You don't know what action was taken. Just because they didn't receive a permanent ban doesn't mean nothing was done.

  • you really wanna argue don't you? I'm bringing up an issue and you are undermining it.

@Sooson -lmao. Okay. All I said was that you don't know what action was taken by the mods. You're the one accusing them of not doing anything.

  • I'm bringing this up so maybe someone can shed some light on what is done in such situations and provide valuable information or opinion rather than derail it by stating facts we are all aware of. do you mind? again, at least in one case I was told by the pro that the person was not banned.

  • @Sooson People are sometimes reinstated if it’s a grey area, they are contrite, and they make a compelling argument. But everyone that has been reinstated that I have seen was soon banned again for something. There are two I know of. Also not all offences are created equal.

  • @BoomerSpooner Thank you. and yes, I know I'm only hearing one side of the story just cannot believe this particular lady would do anything that will somehow justify her not getting paid.
anyways, it is what it is I guess.

@Mike403 it's rather a "damned if we do, damned if we don't" situation regarding actively asking for payment at the start.

On the one hand, actively asking for payment at the start / not starting until payment has been obtained is indeed one way to ensure the client doesn't run out without paying, as you suggested. However, many clients complain that being asked to pay up front makes the session feel too transactional rather than therapeutic. There's also those who will suspect a scam and refuse to pay at the start ("she might take the money and run!"). While we can simply hold firm on our boundaries and end the session if they refuse to pay at the beginning, we also then face them complaining about our "lack of bedside manner" and/or them comparing us further to SWers (since they are another known service industry that takes payment before rather than after). Basically, we can't win that situation.

The method that has seemed to work best for me for taking payment at the start, short of taking deposit in full before hand, is by 1) explaining the industry standard of payment before service, 2) stating the expectation that I will collect payment before beginning the session, 3) suggesting they have the payment ready and/or prepay if they do not want to deal with handling money at the start of the session. Most experienced cuddle clients I've seen will have the cash ready on a table/in an envelope, or be ready with their payment app of choice, so that it can be handled as painlessly as possible. But experienced cuddlers tend to understand the whys of the practice and don't argue it 🤷🏻‍♀️

  • @cuddlefaery - ...but if they pay at the end, they will have that on their mind the entire session rather than paying at the start and forget about it...at least that's how I would feel.
