A true artist is not one who is inspired, but one who inspires others -Salvador Dali
"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do."

A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. - Leonard Nimoy

"The cradle rocks above an abyss, and common sense tells us that our existence is but a brief crack of light between two eternities of darkness. Although the two are identical twins, man, as a rule, views the prenatal abyss with more calm than the one he is headed for (at some forty-five hundred heartbeats an hour)." - Vladimir Nabokov
@MissAdventurous I've never thought of dealing with a negative situation like that before. Very interesting!

@MissAdventurous - I should tape that to my mirror so I can see it every night when I'm brushing my teeth. It's so easy to forget.

@MissAdventurous Beautiful and awe inspiring! Fits you perfectly!

Good reminder.
Sort of along the lines of OP, when a slight, or an intentional social wrong comes my way, I try first to assess the damage. If there is a monetary consequence or some damage to my standing in the community, I usually would attempt to secure redress. But if there are no such consequences, I try to look at the action as the other person’s problem, not mine. Quietly to myself, I say, “I can walk away. He (or she) has to go home and live with that unpleasant person.” My emotional scar heals almost immediately.
Only through art can we emerge from ourselves and know what another person sees.
