Welcome back, tired. I missed your shenanigans.
And I’m so thankful that I get to speak to you directly again. I really missed this special time together. 💯
@MaullySterling Who is this 'them' to whom you refer? Please review my interactions with @BuggleBear and report any behaviour that you consider inappropriate.
"Who gets to decide what is creepy" "The creepee, of course."
Exactly! And since that judgement is different for everyone; to attempt to eradicate all 'creepiness' from the site based on general consensus is fighting with shadows. So creep -> block. It's not rocket science.
My 1st ph. ~ "I think calling for a thread stop for going off topic when the topic shift has come from the OP is a bit of an overstep - IMO" "@quixotic_life Are you referring to me in your first paragraph? If so, I'll be happy to respond." "@tired ~ If you think it applies to you, and you're not breaking a "stay on topic" covenant, then by all means..." "@quixotic_life ... I didn't 'choose' to consider your original post to be directed at myself. Before responding I asked you civilly and in good faith if it was, and you declined to answer directly while wilfully leaving the impression that it was."

Your interpretation of my words and intentions are just that - Your interpretations. It's not my fault you have repeatedly, dare I say "wilfully", ignored my pointing out it was a global comment about the forum culture (ie not about you).
And you did indeed "choose" to make it about yourself, otherwise you wouldn't have responded as you did. So don't go blaming me for your knickers being in a twist just because I responded to your little "game" scenario in a way you didn't like.
I don't care to continually repeat myself, so for the third, and final, time ~ I feel I made valid complaints/observations about our community as a whole, though not in the most appropriate place for it. Whoops. I humaned.
So how about you take a pause and do a self check as to why you're feeling this need to get all up in my forum face with your accusations... Instead of continuing to do this...
Seriously, can you please get over yourself now?
@Importance Really? The limp attempted sarcasm again? Hasn't there already been enough in this thread? If you wish to engage in meaningful debate then the floor is yours....
@quixotic_life And the gaslighting continues. We both know the truth of your intent, but only one of us is choosing to deny it.
I’ve experienced something similar. They informed me that due to discretion is why they sent them. I told them I would have to meet them in a public place because I felt as though they were “hiding”. They eventually warmed up to me and sent a face picture. But you know your feelings best. If you don’t feel comfortable with that type of photo. Don’t cuddle with that person. (In the most humblest tone). You truly don’t know who you are cuddling and your first instinct is the best indicator!!!
No doubt to the relief of many, I'm going to bow out of this thread now, but to leave on a positive note, I record my agreement with every word @Muffin314 has just written.
@tired edit ~ bummer, I missed your thread exit by two minutes... so I decided to collapse all this behind a spoiler (nothing else changed).
Well... Clearly you think you know more about me than I do... Do I feel your interactions on here are examples of a larger problem? Yes, but my comments weren't specifically about you. I mean now it is because you're focusing on you and how you think simultaneously I was addressing you but also wasn't at the same time (which is because I wasn't targeting any one specific person in my post).
I'm wondering, is it frustrating to you, that you specifically didn't initially stand out to me? Is part of this that you wanted my attention? But you didn't know how to approach me for a cuddle/was scared I might reject you? I don't think I'm that intimidating but maybe I am?
Or maybe you like conflict so there can be a "hug it out" session after? That's not really my MO but a while back some others here said they were into "cuddle fights" so maybe search that and you'll find your tribe?
Either which way, I hope you can find what you're looking for here, and in the mean time maybe work on looking beyond what you see.
Goodnight/day ~🕊
Okay. Here’s another one! This is from a male professional. He chooses not to show his face and he explains something as to why in his reply to me.
Please note that, while I would love to hire a male professional and that is commonly known here for people in the forum who had read my “rants” before, I did not seek him out or message him first. Also note that his price offering has changed in the last 48hrs
@Muffin314 I completely hear you, agree with you, I read your thread on respect. I also want my needs met. I have found it impossible to do on this website to this point so far. I wish you well
He still has the pro tag, no face, and a price change. I feel like he is lying to me.
@Importance - message me, please. If there is a Pro without a face pic, I'd like their name. Thanks. [-Sid]
He also has a price menu
@Importance - Message the moderator if you haven't yet so he can address it.
The issue of a Pro without a face pic is in progress and will be addressed. Thanks for your patience.
Thank you
At least he has a pic. I can’t stand when people don’t have anything.
@Enigma1 exactly! Look at this group of recent men who visited my page. All blank profiles. All sadness for me 🥺
@Importance That sucks. But hey, at least you have people visiting your profile
@sunnysideup I have heard this argument before. “At least you have people visiting your page. At least you are getting messages even though they are creepy.” Etc...
I see your point.
And I also see my point.
I feel more and more like this is a marketplace for purchasing female intimacy (nothing illegal allowed). I even feel like I am a product here. It is distressing.
@Importance I don't want you to receive any creepy messages. I think that's a negative thing. I'm hoping some of those anon profiles will message you with a picture, or atleast spark something.
And that's a horrible message to receive! What a jerkoff.
@Importance - Right? I never understood that thought process.
"The messages I'm receiving is making me feel unsafe" "At least you're getting messages"
GTFO
I have examples for days...
@Mike403 To be clear, this was not my thought process, as I reiterated that I think that receiving creepy messages is a negative thing. Only that having people visit your profile at least has a potential for connection.
I’ve found it to be extremely easy to get laid and next to impossible to get a proper cuddle, even here.
(If someone here says, “well at least you can get laid...”)
@sunnysideup - I have lots of profile visitors. 99% of them are men which I have no interest in cuddling with.
I just saw the messages. Wow no your first instinct is correct. I would’ve definitely blocked them after that pretzel joke. @Importance
Thank you @Muffin314
This isn’t even about blocking men anymore. Because the more I block, the more they keep coming—Different men, different approaches, it just doesn’t seem to end.
I need for there to be a cultural shift. I need for men to view women differently. Even if you think you are one of the good guys, and you probably are, I still want you to take a hard look at yourself and see what you can do to help change society.
@MIke403 I also get a lot of male profile visitors which I assume is from my interactions in the forums. If I didn't interact in the forums and just had my profile up and didn't reach out to anybody, I would likely get no profile visits; IE there aren't any cuddlers searching to cuddle with me. This is what I recall when I first joined CC and didn't participate in forums, atleast. What has your experience been?
@Importance I hear that is a very common issue for women in general on dating apps - very easy to get laid, but hard to find someone for the long term. I'm just going to assume there are a ton of creepy and boundary pushing guys on dating apps.
"Dear Ichabod..."
@Importance - I wish I can tell you why men behave that way. Instead of finding a consenting woman on a proper dating site, why do they get off on being a creep? ...and to claim that it was a joke? Jokes are supposed to be funny.
Mike, you have been consistently kind to me. Thank you!!!
I’m not even worried about why men behave this way. I just want a paradigm shift in society. Big dreams for a big girl, eh?
