I came to CC with the intention to specifically comfort women, as I’ve been lucky to help heal my fair share all my life. I also came here to open my mind and expand my comfort level. I’d like to thank @SuperManCuddles, and every positive commenter here, for humbling me and helping me expand my empathetic radar.

I feel like registering my opinion here. I am a massage therapist, and I sometimes work on men so I'm quite used to platonic touch with men. I think in our culture, men are often homophobic. That creates an expectation of offering a safe cushion of distant space. Now, of two men offer each other the trust and understanding that there can be platonic affection, such that respect would be guaranteed, then I think a large number of men would decide that it's more than okay. The problem is getting to that understanding given the lifetime of mistrust. I could see that forming here if the parties involved could come to an accord. I would be totally fine with it, with the same caveats with women: hygiene and odor under control, and respect for boundaries.
@littermate Awesome!!!❤️ I am happy that more men (some women) are opening up thier hearts to bounding with men, reducing the impact of fear, social conditioning and as a result being able to receive deeper connections for more options. @UCpaaHVg6u0 I agree with you! The defense mechanism homophobia leads to many men not experiencing a deeper connection as much. If respect of boundaries were guaranteed, many men would feel comfortable cuddling and or massaging with each other. I have been apart of many cuddle and massage exchanges with both men and women (respect of boundaries and trust made the experience amazing). Thank you to all who have shared so far!😁

Some factors that would motivate me to pay 💰 a pro cuddler are, professional/relatable presentation, positive energy before/during the session, many positive/accurate karmas, responds in a timely manner to communication, has other responsibilities but can cuddle during reasonable time periods!😁🤗Anyone else want to share what would motivate them to pay 💰 pro cuddlers?
@SuperManCuddles , you must have been reading my mind !!. I agree 100% I would add, it means a lot to me when your cuddlier partner seems to enjoy it as much as you do. For me, I have noticed how they hold your hand while spooning, some are like they are helping there grandmother across the street and holding her hand. I like it when they hold your hand tight, like they care that you are there with them, kind of hard to put into works. It needs some feeling into it. I think part of making a great cuddle, is when it's over, you feel that BOTH benefited from the time together, it being a Pro or a none Pro.

I think one reason to go with a pro is if that person has completed training and has taken an oath to be "open to cuddling clients of all ages of legal consent, sizes, ethnicities, religions, genders and sexual orientations" (Cuddlist.com). I have agreed to those terms and enrolled in that training. I am certainly open to being a pro yet cuddling with certain people free of charge, especially if they are pros themselves or are enthusiasts who hold the same values.
@Nuturinghands Thank you so much for sharing again! There is something that I must tell you, that may surprise some people. Some pros are trained but many are not. The biggest difference between a pro on this site and enthusiasts are, that pros usually charge for sessions and pay the site (enthusiasts are not supposed to charge and do not pay the site). When a pro first told me this, it surprised me. If credentials are important to you, would ask the individual pros before consenting to session. Based on my experiences, I had fun in general with both and pros seem more serious/invested in thier craft than many enthusiasts. Also for me personally pros tend to be make themselves available more. The part about being open to cuddle all types of clients and being non discriminatory is true. I am happy that you are going through training and dedicated to accomplishing high quality levels!!!🤗
Good point, @SuperManCuddles . I had a very positive experience with a pro I found on this site who told me, when I told her I signed up for the Cuddlist training, that she had thought about taking it but had not done it. Being a pro doesn't necessarily equate with being trained. I suppose being trained does not necessarily equate with being a good cuddler, either.
