Would you report this cuddler?

So i have To say before i start BY FAR THE WORST SESSION EVER. She seemed uncomfortable and i kept Asking was she comfortable and she said yes. She was very distant and like not into it.

So a cuddler was having a deal where if you book 8 hours you pay half price. So I’m like cool I’ll do that. We spoke and set up a date. She came over a hour late (she did text and tell me) but started the time as soon as she walked in the room.

She brought her friend with her ( She didn’t say that before hand) and asked if she can use the bathroom which was ok i guess. She left and we cuddled. Like i said I kept Making sure she was fine. I always want any woman i cuddle With your be comfortable and respected.

So we watch 2 movies roughly 3 hours and i was About to start another one. Then magically the friend that came with her was back and outside and suck and throwing up. She told me her friend was staying with a friend until our session was over but she back 5 hours early all of a sudden.

Before going forward we did agree we might not do the whole 8 hours but a minimum of 6 hours. So i can Tell she’s just trying to go and i said “ I’m not holding you here but i think I should Get money back”. I prepaid as soon as she got in as we agreed.

After a while of “texting her friend” i said Again I’m not holding you but it’s not fair and i deserve Some money back. She was saying her sick all of a sudden friend had a session the next day and would send me 25 % of the total back.

But after her texting more she sent it which i dont Think is fair but again i wasnt Going to do anything aside from give bad karma. I’m nice to a fault. Should i report Her and give bad karma or just take the loss?

☝️I suggest just forgive her☝️ if she sent you some money back,☝️ advice her it was a bad customer service . Bad karma would destroy her career very harsh . If she does again yes.
I'm the type of person who gives people a chance🤗
At least she gave some money back 😏

I'm so sorry that this happened to you! There is nothing worse than planning and paying dearly for a day to spoil yourself and then having it go so wrong... What a buzz kill.

Report this girl and leave bad karma. If she refunds you the money you're owed, delete the karma. The site won't ban her over a situation like this unless it becomes a pattern of behavior.

  • Sorry you had to deal with that, I think it's fair to ask for the hours she bailed on you and that it's worth reporting. Like @BellaSera says, it might at least help to spot a pattern of behavior if it continues to happen.

This may have been circumstances beyond her control, but I certainly think you are entitled to at least some of your money back. I'm a little puzzled why she was bringing her sick friend along with her, it sounds like she should have been home in bed. Especially with COVID still an issue, bringing someone who is unwell into your client's house without advising them first doesn't seem very wise or considerate.

  • In fact I think you shouldn't have had to even ask. If I had been the one whose day was going all wrong such as arriving late and what have you, I'd be the first to take it upon myself to try to make it right. Though I am not a pro. So hope you find some sort of resolution.

It is also concerning that the friend was sick and had to show up at your home unannounced. I don't know their situation, though hope it's all better.

  • Couldn't you have booked her for just one hour?

  • edited October 2021

I only book a longer session if I know the pro well 👌 I'm with @BellaSera she needs a little 🤏 lesson or forgive if money refunded .

  • "She was saying her sick all of a sudden friend had a session the next day and would send me 25 % of the total back."

If her friend was sick, why would she have a session the next day? 🤔 Also, why would you have needed to wait until the next day to get your money back "from her friend"? This wasn't your fault, and your pro should have given you back the amount that was owed to you before she left, and 25% is not enough.

This entire thing was unfair to you and you only. She got what she wanted, and that was to be paid and not follow through on her end of the deal. If you leave her bad karma and report her, the karma could warn others of her behavior and she can't do it to anyone else (or if she does, they were at least warned).

I'm so sorry this happened to you. 👎

  • Sounds to me like a scam. She wasn’t into it. Even if she has to give a wee bit of money back she still got out of there early which I think she planned with her friend. It is a con—she showed you the friend so you believe whatever story they come up with. You were played.

  • @FunCartel - that's what I've been thinking, too. There's no reason she couldn't have given him the refund before she left, since he had already paid her.

  • This is a fraud trying to be "professional." If it wasn't so, your money would be refunded right away. And honestly, I'd expect she would refund the whole amount, bringing a friend is is simply not acceptable. I sincerely hope you report her! Allowing her to get away with this will not only embolden her, but she is almost certainly going to tell her friends how she pulled this scam and they will try it too. It does nothing but lower the quality of the professional services one can expect from this site. This is certainly not doing anyone any good.

  • @cuddesbydeep totally agree!
I’d never pull something like that on my clients. It’s a shame when people have bad experiences with professionals and leave a permanent scar on them making them overall think badly of pros in general. A lot of us genuinely try our absolute best to make sure the client is priority; being comfortable, relaxed, and especially getting the bare minimum of the agreement which is the time they are due with what they paid for.
Definitely report, leave karma explaining what you dealt with so she can’t pull this kind of scam on others as well.
So sorry you had such a negative experience, and hope it doesn’t leave you hating all professionals ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

I can't tell if she was genuinely having a bad day or if she was trying to get a ton of money out of you for as little work as possible based on the information on this thread. If you agreed to a 25% refund and that's what she gave you I would say just move on and don't book her again. If you had been expecting more of a refund then you should report. Generally, it's not wise to book a very long session with someone new. I find that 2-3 hours is the sweet spot because it gives you enough time to get to know each other and not feel rushed but it's not all day if you don't click so well.

  • I would never do this to a client. It was very unprofessional of her to bring a friend. She should have planned for just herself to be available to you and devote that time to your session. If the friend weren’t in the picture, there would be no problem, at least that’s how I see it. If someone agreed to meet for a certain amount of time and it was cut short, they should gladly refund majority of the payment. That’s only fair.
I had a virtual session that went about 45 minutes and was supposed to be an hour, our connection was lost and we didn’t get to finish. I refunded the entire amount because it wasn’t their fault and no loss for myself. If the person is honest, they would gladly give back what is fair.

@Tranquilescape - I totally agree! She shouldn't have brought a friend, and she should have refunded much more than she did! She seems very inconsiderate and unprofessional.

  • Sorry to hear this happened to you. It certainly reflects badly on her, not you.

@xandriarain i like what you mentioned. What happened to him just an experience so it's going to be good on him in future. Never book long session with someone new unless he/she reliable and have good karama, move on never book again, and small 🤏 lesson is good so she doesn't do it to others. But i think she didn't mean it,☝️the prove because she gave %25 refunds which makes me forgive her. Little bit guilt. If she was a scam she won't give a single penny.

@DimpleGirl that's why☝️ some pros need training, i don't want anyone to have a go at me🤗 I said( some) because I'm sure she has no clue about customer service,Clint comfort etc and she thinks life is a joke and everything it's ok. Some people have bad habits. I'm sure she didn't mean it because she gave %25 refunds.

What happened to you is bad but it's going to be good for you in the future.
I give you silly example😁 a bad friend borrowed $300 never gave it back. It was good for me because afterwards some bad friends someone wanted to borrow $500 ,$700 another 1 $1000 so i already learnt my lesson they can't fool me.

  • @AKW My experience with professional cuddlers is that they are professional... I've had one show up late, but it was through no fault of her own, she was very apologetic, and made sure it was okay if we ran the session later. We ended up having a GREAT time. It definitely sounded like your 'cuddler' had less than professional intentions, and was likely using her friend as a reason to leave... Like @Brandi mentioned, the bad experience makes it harder to trust professionals in general, so leaving the bad Karma would help others not have to experience similar...

100% sounds like she was pulling some kind of scam, agree with @FunCartel @DimpleGirl @CuddlesByDeep .

It's bad form to turn up at someone's place with a stranger, especially when it's someone you don't know very well either, doubly so if it's someone for something where money is changing hands. Cuddling is of course a more personal thing than most, but think about how you'd feel if say a plumber organised to come round to help with an issue you were having ended up bringing their friend without warning. It's unprofessional.

It's maybe a concern that they were scoping out your home for a potential burglary with the friend there but probably not, and while there very well could have been some difficult circumstances that the cuddler and their friend were in that lead to her coming along being a necessity the way they went about it was dodgy and it's not necessarily on you to have to give them the benefit of the doubt that they were being entirely honest.

Also as @WriterGF pointed out, COVID is still an issue, so bringing along another person is a major issue there.

@jaswbrown temporary bad karma ,because humans make mistake and maybe she repent and changed, that wasn't a small mistake but she's %100 unprofessional, unqualified to be a pro she only does it for money .

  • Oofff. All the red flags. I'm sorry this happened to you! That sounds like a drug addict coming to raid your medicine cabinet with their friend.

She sounds like a hot mess who gives professional cuddling a bad name. As @CuddleDuncan said in his “Thoughts on the different types of professional cuddler,” she sounds like this:

Cuddle unprofessional. A variant of the hobbyist, but somebody who is completely unsuited to professional cuddling and has has no concern for clients. Likely to have little or no written profile and be living a fairly chaotic lifestyle. Unboundaried. May cancel without notice, turn up drunk, fall asleep for the whole session, engage in sexual activities or sexually assault the client. But on a good day, may provide a decent service. This is the category that gives rise to many of the complaints on the forum.

(Emphasis mine.) So, my answer to your question is a resounding yes! I would absolutely report her and give her a one star review. I think she got the notion she could make lots of money doing almost nothing as a professional cuddler, and I wouldn’t be surprised if her friend was casing the joint while she was keeping you occupied. (P.S. Or she could have been looking for drugs in your medicine cabinet, as @MxSmith wrote at the same time I was writing my reply.) Disgustingly, unforgivably unprofessional!

Curious: did you ever get a cuddle during these movies, and did you ever get your money back?

  • As you say, you are nice to a fault. Is it beneficial to the community of cuddlers to give the same rating that you would to somebody who goes to great lengths to offer top service? I think a brief mention of the incident, knocking off one star, seems in line with fairness to all.

  • Even though she was clearly in the wrong I don't think poor service and being a flake is reportable? Please leave a bad karma. Repeat business is a key to success in any profession. She'll either be out of the professional cuddling business or not very successful if this is standard behavior for her.

  • Save us from the 'professionals' who have no idea what they're doing.

Generally I don't like having cuddlers bring friends with them. It makes me feel uncomfortable , even if the cuddler says it's for her protection. I would not report the cuddler but just not set a session with her again. is she new? Does she have any karma ? I always look at karma before I meet someone.

To me, this looks as though it was an attempt at a scam and would think about it before booking a similar type of session. If you want a long session before ever meeting, I would converse with her by text to get an idea of who she is. She will have a better idea of who you are as well.

You have a right to express your views but let’s keep talk about this site pros respectful. I have paid many pros upfront and never had any problems before. So experiences may vary depending on pro selected but that’s why we have reporting features. So if experiences do not go as planned, we can look into it and respond accordingly. [SuperManCuddles]

You definitely deserve more than 25% money back , a half of total what you have paid to her is fair to you

To clients: Never BOOK long hours sessions with someone new
    &
To pros : Never BE BOOKED long hours sessions with someone new

( I’m only open 6>= hours cuddling sessions to my repeat clients no matter how far the travel distance would be )

    Have a wonderful & colorful brand new November 🍂 🍂 🍂
