I've cuddled people who range feom 20-45. So O would say that is probably my range.
I still recall a family gathering decades ago, when I was in my twenties. My brother's girlfriend's daughter was probably around seven or eight. She suddenly plants herself next to me on the couch, mirthfully leaning on my arm, grinning. I felt embarrassed, possibly fearing that giving her a cuddle would seem inappropriate. I put on a sour face and pretended to be indifferent, like a jerk. I think the reason it sticks in my memory is that my sister scolded me for not cuddling her back. Today I would gleefully enjoy such an angelic presence deigning to grace my miserable soul. Of course we need to vigilantly protect children from predation (we still mostly fail on that) but that shouldn't create a barrier to enjoying a simple cuddle from a child. It makes me sad for us all.
Current range of cuddling people has been youngest at 20-87 as the oldest.
I have no preference - people are people.
My youngest client was 18 at the time and my oldest was 79 or 80. When I first got into this work I was nervous to cuddle people outside of my normal age range for dating but I got used to it pretty quickly when you realize age is only one small factor or someone’s personality.
The dating site OKCupid once reported the following. Women are most interested in men that are 2 years younger than them. Men are most interested in 18 year olds regardless of age.
I’m completely uninterested in anyone’s age as long as they are an adult. People of all ages are interesting in different ways.
