  • @JustPlaneCuddle - The internet is a predator's playground because of the anonymity. You need to protect yourself. Don't listen to what anyone tells you. Having fewer clients is much better than going through really bad experiences.

    Today: laying on the couch with super low blood pressure after the dr said she couldn’t believe I was still alive.
    The nurse took my blood pressure ran out of the room and the doctor ran in. I was like… I came for something minor and am being released 1/2 dead. 😂😂😂 explains some things though…

    Trying to avoid the forums but boredom doesn’t help. 😂😂😂

    This thread seems somewhat safe atm.

  • @Mike403, THAT, exactly! I was incredibly disheartened to receive an email from moderation about the subject. I honestly could not care less if it discourages other clients. If a client is discouraged because I want to keep them AND myself safe, they are not for me. Our needs do not align. That's that. I was just disappointed to read that moderators feel I am being too stringent. I've had thousands of dollars in camera gear stolen by models. I've also had clients show up drunk. It's an occupational hazard. Protecting each other and ourselves is of abundant importance to me and I cannot see that ever changing. It's one of the basic principles I based my business around. The right clients will find me. I'm going to put nothing but positive energy out there! Thank you for the encouragement, Friend!

    @stormydaycuddle, holy bananas! That has to be terrifying! I'm glad they caught it! Is there any way we can be of service? What do you need right now? We can cat meme this thread if we need! <3

  • @JustPlaneCuddle I like your plan to help @stormydaycuddle
    I will start gathering cat memes

  • @JustPlaneCuddle - A moderator sent you a message just out of the blue about being too stringent with potential clients? That would have probably been my last day on this site if I was a female pro.

  • @stormydaycuddle 😅 the forum will have an opposite effect and raise your blood pressure 😂 (it will all balance out 😝 get better! 🫂)

  • @Mike403, I got an email saying that someone reported me for “requests for information such as family member names and address details.” I asked for clarification on their relation to the emergency contact that they listed (this is optional on my new client intake form) as the information provided did not match the conversation we held prior to their sending the intake form. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I wanted to know I was not reading something incorrectly. They claimed to be living near my area for more than 2 years but I could not find any records on them for my state. They skipped filling out current address on my form, so I asked for clarification on that too. I reported the user and ended up with a email about them reporting me. The user was banned a couple hours later. The user claimed to be in their early 20’s but had no trace of social media and no paper trail at all. Pretty sure they were a catfish.

    @Jova114, I hope @stormydaycuddle likes cats! 😂

  • @JustPlaneCuddle - I would have just dismissed such reports. You have the right to ask for whatever you need to feel safe and they have the right to decline and not book you.

  • @JustPlaneCuddle lol well any cute animal will do really!

  • @stormydaycuddle is mildly allergic to cats. I feel bad because I might have cat hair on my clothes when I do cuddle sessions with her.

  • @JustPlaneCuddle ty, I’m good. @cuddles_ndream may be right about the forums. Although I was avoiding getting into fights.

  • @Mike403 so far so good. But now we know I was sick that day I had to cut our session short. I pride myself on being reliable but over the past 2 months has been hard and I wasn’t even paying enough attention to my symptoms.

    Thanks everyone. I think I’ll be just fine. 😊😊😊😊
    I get to eat crazy amounts of sugar, salt and caffeine so this is the best cure I’ve ever heard of. 😂😂😂

    I only posted because it’s insane.
    My last few days have actually been interesting… usually I’m a bore.

    It was the flipping gyno. Didn’t even get to my routine check up. The nurse took my blood pressure ran from the room and the midwife came bolting in. 😂😂😂

    So far I’ve had about 20 Gatorade electrolyte blends, 2 Hersheys bars, cake, chicken tenders, 10 cups of tea… all the things I’m normally not supposed to have. 😂😂😂

  • Sorry that I missed the questions to me, I hadn’t come back to this thread after posting last week so…
    @teddybear888 @JustPlaneCuddle
    @achetocuddle
    As far as donating plasma, having an autoimmune disease was not on any form or questionnaire and every other thing you could ever imagine was, so I thought that was weird.
    The only reason I had to be questioned by a nurse before I donated was because of some other question I answered incorrectly. They never asked me about an autoimmune disease. I volunteered it like oh by the way I have RA and she goes OMG no you can’t donate! I just thought it was very strange.
    As far as AS I have a friend who has that, and it sounds so much more serious and more painful and I actually know nothing about it but my prayers are with you if you are suffering from that! There are so many different autoimmune diseases, and then the severity of them seems to change. Mine has been worse lately, but symptoms are different than others.
    The problem with donating plasma was maybe more about the medication I take for it than the actual autoimmune disease, meaning that maybe you can donate depending on the medication that you take. I am not an expert on any of this so sorry if I’m not much help, I thought these diseases were pretty common!

  • @carrieanne - Do you know if someone can donate blood (not plasma) if they are immunocompromised? Maybe it depends on what they have/what they are taking for it...

  • @stormydaycuddle hope you feel better soon. Hugs!
    @SoftHairForDays I’ve never seen that mentioned on the mandatory reading material, but by calling 800-Red-Cross, they could definitely tell you.

  • Soi far so good.

    It’s been a while . . .

    I’ve been keeping quiet whilst healing and working on some serious life upgrades. I recently bought a new car, my partner is considering starting a new job, I closed out some open projects, started some new ventures, and had some wonderful, deep talks. I hope you’ve all been well!

    Best Part of my Day :
    I went for a drive and was able to visit a place that has meant a great deal to me for my entire life. I spent some time in a place I feel peace and have called Home. My heart felt happy. It made me feel whole when my world has been topsy-turvy. Never underestimate the power of nature in grounding us.

    Worst Part of my Day : There’s been an extreme emotional overload where my excursion is concerned. This started as an adventure to spread some of my father’s ashes. It was beautiful and moving but stirred some intense grief and longing.

    What Would have made the Worst Part Better : Hearing my father’s laugh. He had this silly giggle when he was really happy that made you feel all warm and fuzzy inside and laugh until you could not breathe. I miss him.

    Sending smiles & hugs for those hurting. Sending high-fives and fist bumps for those feeling their best. Happy Evening, Friends.

  • My day is ok so far, kinda tired.
    Still trying to wrap my head around how some people can think Colombus is a "great man"

  • @JustPlaneCuddle said,

    When I was young, we had a rule : As a family, we all ate dinner together & everyone shared the best part of their day... I have extended this tradition to my immediate household and added... talking about the worst part of your day and what could have made it better... this exercise helps breed gratitude and allows us to be more empathetic...

    Enjoy this thread, and I totally agree. At dinner, my daughter and I sit at the table and talk. No TV; no phones; no distractions. We just talk, and, like you, discuss what we're grateful for.

    I'm grateful for each day I don't die at work and am able to return home.

    And the past few days re-emphasizes my gratitude for living where I do. While I experience a lot of personal frustrations, disappointments, and even grief on occasion, I'm happy that I'm not living with the daily crises of actual life & death everyday, like people elsewhere in the world do.

  • @stormydaycuddle not sure if anyone’s mentioned this before, but I noticed you said 10 cups of tea. That could be a lot of liquid intake for someone with low bp. When the liquid content is high, it tends to cause a drop in sodium levels. Also, what kind of tea is it? If you have low bp, one way to naturally increase it is to drink less and eat more. Also to reduce your intake of high potassium rich or anticoagulant rich foods/spices. Some teas have very strong anticoagulant properties that reduce blood pressure drastically. It’s a health benefit for some with high bp but could be problematic for those on the opposite spectrum. Hope your bp woes balance themselves out.

    @carrieanne i wish I saved some info I read about RA and how to reduce its symptoms. I’m always coming across interesting herbal concoctions designed to help certain ailments and I remember distinctly coming across one aimed at helping those with RA. It was so interesting but I don’t recall what it was. I could research it some if you’d like. Let me know.

    @JustPlaneCuddle that photo is stunning.

  • @stormy sorry to hear about your low BP! Do you happen to have POTS?!

    I snapped this cutie today outside of the library. It was pretty good!

  • @justjennn
    "Stormy" is a dude from Oregon and hasn't logged-in in 6 years.

  • @TxTom well that's annoying! @stormydaycuddle is who I'm talking to 😂🤣

  • [Deleted User]MaverickLegend (deleted user)

    Well, in any case, it was a nice shout out for someone who hasn’t logged on for six years if he ever reads that you probably made his day lol 😂

  • This thread never fails to bring a smile to my face.

    Best part of today : Cuddling with my pupper on the couch. He would not leave my side this morning. It's amazing how animals can make a profound difference in our moods!

    Worst part of today : Part 1 - My partner is about to start a new job. He gave his current employer 5 - weeks notice and wrote a really professional resignation letter. His boss is now making things incredibly difficult for him and really pushing some emotional boundaries. It hurts to watch my partner struggle like this.
    Part 2 - I'm suffering from extreme vertigo due to a neck injury from last October that was re-injured during my surgery. I have whiplash trauma to the base of my neck, where neck and shoulder meet. It's caused the vertebrae to stack rather than have an s-curve and has caused what they termed an "extended concussion." Since surgery, my symptoms are back and I'm not a fan.

    What would make the worst part better : I'm working on seeing a massage therapist, but I need the swelling to reach a certain stage. Heat is finally starting to help, so we may be on the road to recovery! Keeping my fingers crossed! 🤞🏻

  • @JustPlaneCuddle
    First off, pupper cuddle are the best cuddles!
    Because they choose to be with you. No obligation.

    2nd, sorry to hear about your partner having struggles with his boss and you with your vertigo.
    I hope the best for both you and your partner!!!
    Give the puppers some head rubs from me
    😁

  • Best Part of my Day : Hands down, tonight’s dinner. Hard days deserve comfort food like brisket baked potatoes. 🥔

    It is simple and may be silly but it tasted amazing and made me smile to see hard work pay off. 🥹

    Worst Part of my Day : I am really struggling with post-surgery & post-covid brain. 😶‍🌫️ The fog is so real!

    What would make the worst part better : If you cannot beat the fog, join it. I’ve made notes all over my mirrors and set a bunch of alarms on my phone to pop reminders in my face. Easing my brain with comedy sketches and hot chocolate.
