    I met a guy from the Maldives. He messaged me for the first time. He wanted us to meet that same evening. I don’t usually meet that quickly but I felt spontaneous and had a good feeling about him so I decided to just go. After a quick chat, 2 hours later we met in person. We literally cuddled through the night and into the next day. It was beyond relaxing and completely unexpected. There was a moment where I had mentioned just in passing how I was thirsty. He told me he’d be right back. I figured he’d get a little something from the fridge. Literally, not even 5 minutes later he left his home and went to the restaurant we had just met at to pick up my favorite drink. When he came back I was so surprised. I wasn’t even expecting for him to do that at all. That blew my mind.

  • That's a lovely experience @PrettyLuv!
    Nice to hear a positive experience from being spontaneous and trusting your instinct.

    What was the drink? Always interested in the food/ drinks! :)

    I'm about to leave a job with some bittersweet memories this week. Today tying up loose ends but quite jittery & unfocused so far.

  • Yesterday, November 1, 2023, was a great day for me. In the afternoon I had a 2-1/2 cuddle session and it was fantastic. We watched a Hallmark movie and we both felt relaxed and fortunate to be able to cuddle without any worries of impropriety. Then, the Texas Rangers won the World Series. I’m a lifelong fan and I’m overjoyed at this accomplishment.

    Hey @4cuddles . I love your profile picture. I could imagine the anxiety you feel leaving a job with bittersweet memories. I’ve never been one for goodbyes so I could only imagine how you’re feeling. Treat yourself to something you really like for lunch - that should do the trick. My oasis was always Saks. For some reason window shopping there always seemed to put my mind at ease.

    We went to a restaurant that had this drink called Horchata. It’s one of my favorite drinks up there with iced chai latte that just melts in your mouth the moment you drink it. It has to be made a certain way to really capture the spices inside and this place did it perfectly.

    @Rocket_Man LOL. Great drink…haha! Very catchy.

    @PrettyLuv horchata is one of my favorite drinks! That’s sounds like a great time.

    @Snickerdoodle17 that sounds Uber relaxing!

    @4cuddles i can understand that must be very bittersweet and hard to leave a place- and people- behind, in a way, that you became close with. Even if it’s bitter, I can understand leaving the sweet part behind. So sending moral support !

    My day yesterday was great, got to finish off a Halloween and post Halloween celebration with some friends. And got to work at an event celebrating the day of the dead- and the movie Cocoa, which was neat to have a little extension of the season. And fun to see all the costumes again!

  • @justjennn just saw this tag. :) it was nice seeing you again the other day. 🤗🤗🤗🤗

  • Beautiful day in woods with my dog.Bless U aLL 🐺 🌞 ☕️

  • @JustPlaneCuddle Wow, that looks great. If you’d like to share the recipe with me, that’d be awesome!

  • @CuddleHugs01234 I am telling ya, you and I must share a brain, ha ha. I was thinking the same thing!

    @PrettyLuv Now THAT was a day :) One time I watched a boring Hallmark movie just to see the scenery in the Maldives.

  • Yeah @achetocuddle , he showed me pictures of the Maldives. He had just come back from a vacay there. It was so beautiful. The waters are just so pristine. It’s amazing there’s places like that, that still exist.

  • Supposed to go to the tea house for an early birthday tea with my friends. Then I have an evening booking. And in between there’s just enough time to cry about my Nanowrimo word count and maybe even get it done. 😂😂😂

  • Hey Prettyluv thank you :) I don't remember where I found the picture to share the rightful props! Not sure if I've ever been to Saks. I do love a window shop! Love looking at beautiful things, I get the buzz of shopping without the financial regrets. The Horchata drink you described is worth a taste. Herbs n spices in a drink, melting .... its giving yummy!

    So I was too nervous to really treat myself to lunch, (minus the homemade rice, chicken and spinach, I had earlier. Might have a pub meal when having a goodbye drinks with some colleagues shortly.

    Aww THANKYOU @Jasmineluvshugs so kind of you.

    Walked around Atlanta. Good day.

  • This pen came with her. It's her safe space. I walked in to see this at 530 am.

    Woke up today with anxiety, panic and discomfort called out sick from work next thing I know I’m getting messages from two of my bosses like oh my god are you gonna be there tomorrow we really need you which added more pressure and stress to what I was already going through.

    Having mixed feelings about the holidays I like this time of year but it’s also a time that makes me feel very lonely since I always spend the holidays by myself makes it kind of difficult to really enjoy the season.

  • @lonelytauros, my heart is with you. It's been just over two weeks since your comment was posted. I hope that some of the pressure has been reduced. I understand the mixed bag of feelings bit; I love this time of year, too. However, I have the opposite issue and feel constantly pulled in all directions, desperately grasping at straw to try to make things feel less chaotic. I hate that you spend the holidays by yourself. I'd love to send you some cookies and a holiday card or two in the spirit of making merry!

    @CallMeMikey, what an adorable sight!

    For everyone that was asking about the recipe : I do not have an exact recipe for the brisket itself, but I will work on creating one. For the potatoes themselves, I follow this :

    @JustPlaneCuddle thank you that’s very nice and very kind of you just reading that message makes me happy

  • Best part of my day today : I have three that tie in excitement and warm fuzzies.
    ⚫ My partner has wanted to become a pilot for years. We have not had the time for flight school but one of his co-workers just happens to have his license and offered the chance of a lifetime. Today, he and a couple of their interns got to fly across the area. My partner got to learn all about the systems and flight maps. It made me happy to see him excited about something he has an interest in. Friday was his last day with this company before he moves on to a new job and it was the perfect way to close out an 8-year tenure.

    ⚫ Last week, I had a chance conversation with a random person that added me on snapchat. It turns out we have an extreme amount in common. We have become extremely close friends in a very short amount of time. It's been wonderful to make a friend that has and believes in healthy relationships. So many of the people that I have been close to in the past few years either live in toxicity or refuse to work on themselves. We're talking about a meet up sometime next year and putting together a program to help addicts find healthier coping mechanisms through the art of touch-therapy and energy exchange. I am holding so much gratitude for friendships where both parties feel seen, heard, and safe.

    ⚫ Everyone I love has been struggling lately. My mother is in her mid 60's and unable to take care of certain aspects of her home. We're working on making repairs to her house but we keep running into massive snags. She needs an exterior door replaced but they have not made solid wood doors like her current one for years ans years. We've had a really hard time tracking one down but we finally found one this morning, paid for it, and will pick it up on Monday morning. I am so thankful that we will no longer have to worry if someone is going to just rip her seriously broken door apart and try to enter her home.

    Worst part of my day today : I'm almost out of audiobooks and have "re-read" all of my favorites already.

    What would make the worst part of today better : SEND ME YOUR FAVES, PLEASE! I love to read and learn and I absorb information. Send me some of your favorite book titles, audiobooks, short stories, Tedtalks, lectures, etc. I want to know what you find interesting or cool or funny!

  • @lonelytauros, that's what this platform is for, right? Being there for each-other in one aspect or another. If you're ever feeling lonely and just want a conversation, please reach out!
    That goes for anyone reading this, too. We can't be strangers anymore if we get to know a little about one another.

  • @JustPlaneCuddle I just started the audio version of my favorite book…Musashi by Eiji Yoshikawa. I think it’s like 54 hours, I don’t remember 😁

    Best part of my day: I set a new PR in a 5K benefiting a glioblastoma charity and medaled for the first time since I started running again in September.

    Worst part of my day: still no word from a good friend who was going through a rough time back in Pensacola. It’s been about six weeks since our last contact, and I’m worried about her safety.

    There are some things that are under my control, and there are other things that are not under my control.

    Hey Cuddle Fam'! Long time, no chat. Just wanted to pop in and reassure you that you're not forgotten - I've just been caught up in the whirlwind of holiday prep and the delightful chaos of blended family shenanigans. But fear not, I've been making a conscious effort to hit pause, take a breather, and not let the craziness overwhelm me. How have you been holding up amidst the holiday madness? Everybody doing okay?

    Best part of my day today :

    I hit pause for a moment to stare in wonder at one of the most coveted of family heirlooms : Rudolph. He came to live with me a couple years ago and has been my beloved Christmas season companion as long as I can remember. That red nosed reindeer is older than I am and a sentimental piece of my grandfather’s carpentry, artistry, and legacy. His creativity still astounds me and I wish I had the opportunity to get to know him as an adult. His memory and gentle kindness lives on for every visitor that graces my porch to see. Most might consider it silly to dust and redo the eyes every couple of years but I consider it an act of love. While displaying Rudolph has been a family tradition – I have embraced him and made it my own by placing him on the porch, giving him signs and clothes. In the tapestry of holiday memories, the most precious threads are the ones we weave ourselves. Cherish the magic of creating your own traditions, for in those moments, we discover the true warmth of the season's embrace.🎄I'm going to start something new this year. I do not know what yet, but I can absolutely feel it in the air.
    Worst part of my day today : I'm out of town, visiting my mother for the holidays and even though it's only an hour and a half distance, the allergens are so incredibly different here! The Mountain Cedar is making it hard to stay awake no matter how much sleep I get.
    What would make the worst part of today better : Stronger coffee? I'm trying to watch my caffeine intake but, man - I'd like to stay awake for festivities! Anybody else having this problem?

    P.S. : Thank you to everyone that has answered questions, given feedback, and given us a piece of themselves. Your vulnerability is discussing the good, the bad, & the in-between is something really special that I will forever cherish. It is the people like you that make platforms like this feel like a community.

    @JustPlaneCuddle Thanks for sharing!

    I’ve had a lot of change in the last couple years, but thankful for my small, sweet family, and for my friends, including my cuddle friends. It’s up and down for me currently, but all is well, and I’m enjoying each day. Off work and off normal daily tasks (some of them) for a bit, so that’s nice, and get to do a few projects that usually get pushed aside. 💕 🌲 💫 Merry Christmas y’all!!

  • [Deleted User]MsCarissa23 (deleted user)

    My week so far has been so-so!! Excited that Christmas and the New Years is almost here!! Looking to a better 2024….2023 was a bit rough but I’m happy for a better year!!

  • Drove to Cincinnati the day before yesterday and had a great overnight cuddle session. Unfortunately the 5 hours home was rather boring and at some point I stopped for a rest stop nap where some lady glared at me 😂 Then had a nice chill movie night with a friend and today Ive been extra lazy.
    Just woke up from a nice 2.5 hour nap.
    Currently waiting on laundry to finish so I can go chill with my hair dresser for a bit. Then I need to come home and attempt to nap again before I leave for Louisiana at midnight.

    Best part of the day: having Saturday, Sunday and Monday off from work

    Worst part: spending the next three days alone

    What could make it better? Having family to spend it with
