Asking advice

New to this site and fairly new to cuddling. I see a lot of rules that I don’t want to break. I’ve had one bad experience and one great experience. There are dozens of professional cuddlers in my city and after reading ALL of their profiles and ALL of their karma my head is spinning and I’m overwhelmed on who would be the best match for me and how to start. So asking if it’s okay to message another member in my area with high karma who they recommend? Is that normal on this site? I’m in Dallas if anyone has any guidance. Thanks a bunch.

    As long as the questions you have are respectful, I don’t see anything wrong with it. Also, as a pro myself, I don’t mind people wanting to ask me questions to see how comfortable they are with me so maybe even let some of these pros know that you’re new to this and have some questions. See if you click with any of them.

    If I understand your question correctly, you're asking if it’s ok to message another Enthusiast (male probably?) to get a recommendation for a Pro (female probably?)
    That could be a little awkward, but I don’t think it breaks any rules for you to do that. I’m also not sure that you’ll get an answer, nor will you be able to trust what they say.
    Honestly, the best way is to contact two or three Pros who you think might be a good fit for you and then do some messaging and get to know each other a little bit. Also, that may take a few tries because some Pros who are super busy may not get back to you very quickly. Eventually, you’ll get to know more about them and that will help you decide. I hope I explain this correctly but again, feel free to do whatever you want as long as it fits within this sites TOS.
    Reading the forum posts also is a good help for getting to know how this all works. You can also search keywords to find specific subjects in the form threads.. See the search option at the bottom of the forum topics.
    Also If you go to the professional cuddling section (this one is General discussions) there may be some topics that are stickied to the top that can help you out. If you have any other questions also, I can try to answer. Best of luck and maybe someone else will comment with better information for you.

    This is a social networking site and yes it is totally fine to message absolutely anybody, providing of course that your message is appropriate.

    I have been messaged on a number of occasions by fellow clients asking for more information about a professional. Such requests mostly fall into three categories. Either the sender is really just looking for reassurance; or the question is a dumb because they should just have asked the professsional directly; or the sender is a sex client on the wrong site. In any event I always respect the confidentiality of the professional, and I always tell them of the request.

    To put it another way, sure you can do it but why?

    Response rate from professionals is not 100% or anything like, and sessions don't always happen. In other words, even if you have chosen the 'perfect' professional for you, there is no guarantee that things will work out.

    Don't worry about breaking rules. Just be platonic, respectful and thoughtful and you'll be fine. You may find these threads helpful, especially the first one:

    Welcome, @MikeStevens1! Another great way to dip a toe in is to visit a group cuddle. You can find facilitated ones that follow platonic protocols on MeetUp, EventBrite, etc.
