@pmvines there’s nothing to figure out. He’s bringing up women’s stories about being sexually assaulted and saying that men say (but he’s quoting me) “it’s political correctness” to excuse it because there’s some hidden agenda.
Idk if that’s your friend and you’re sticking your neck out for him but that’s just unhinged.
@cuddlefaery define political correctness
@deathwish I'm not the one who used it, nor do I use it. I was quoting and responding to others who did.
You were the first to mention it here, I believe, so it would be more useful for you to define what you meant.
TxTom its political correctness.
@cuddlefaery brilliant. You had a lot to say about it in your previous comment though lol.
@deathwish not gonna spin my wheels debating with you here my guy . Many women report their feelings about this and if you're not going to be open to objectively listening then nothing at all will benefit you apart from pointless arguing , which maybe that's what you're in it for I don't know what's in your heart or in your head but if that's the case its not an argument that's worth spending my time and energy on with you . Good luck with wherever your journey on this site takes you .
My use of the phrase in the context of this thread isn’t meant to be derogatory or dismissive like you or others have claimed.
In theory, political correctness is intended to maintain neutrality by avoiding utterances or descriptions that can offend or harm people of certain groups.
If commenting on a woman’s appearance can make them feel objectified. Then we ought not do that. That would be politically incorrect.
So when @BoomerSpooner is wagging his finger over here telling me not to divulge in a woman’s appearance being a determining factor because she might feel objectified. He is being politically correct.
One thing I’ve learned about correctness and by the way I’m still learning but I’m fairly certain about one thing and that is woman>female in terms of verbiage
@pmvines no hard feelings. Have a good day.
@deathwish I had plenty to say about people using the term "political correctness" as an excuse not to respect others boundaries. If you are not going to argue in good faith then I'm not going to waste my time engaging with you further.
Speaking for myself, I found with age came a new mindset for what I determined as attractive. I am far more attracted to a person's authenticity and feeling of connection than to personal appearance. Personality and wanting to spend the precious time in my schedule cuddling with someone I can have meaningful dialog with are important to me. I was honored to have an amazing cuddle session yesterday with a beautiful soul, inside and out. I'm still floating on the endorphins, even this morning, long after the cuddle. Even though we just met in person yesterday, my wife and I already have plans to visit to explore a local park with her next week. THAT is the connection that cuddling with the right person can bring. Everyone has a story, and I love the imperfections that make us who we are. (to borrow a line from John Legend)
@cuddlefaery Wise choice.
@roamingroyals You are an evolved person and that is a fantastic thing to be.
@roamingroyals Yes, yes, yes! ✨️

@cuddlefaery I was very charitable, I even gave you an opportunity to define the phrase so we could set a foundation, but now you realize that the derailment was caused by a misconception right? That isn’t bad faith. That’s just the natural end to the discussion.
I’m not really sure why people appear to be getting upset in this thread. This is actually a pretty good discussion.
@Morpheus most of us as stated are simply bowing out because of one’s victimhood and disingenuousness.
@Morpheus not sure why you think people are upset? Disagreement is not upset, and telling people that they are upset for disagreeing is a poor attempt to shut down a discussion without actually addressing what is being said.
@cuddlefaery I didn’t say people were upset
I’ll be honest and say I was a little upset but I feel much better now
Baiting isn't allowed in the forums. Next offense will result in disciplinary actions taken [netrunner]
Many apologies! I should have known better. Thank you for just dropping a warning.
@CentralFLCuddle And you were suposed to come see me in Chicago and you didn't
Being upset, anxious and paranoid are my personality traits but I’m working on that

Confusing empathy and respect for "political correctness" is a tactic that continually gets used to shut down any discussion on problematic behavior. It's a keyword red flag that despite what the person might claim, they really actually don't give a flying f how other people feel and they'll treat people however they want even if it is harmful. It shows a deep lack of self-awareness as they would rather deny that they are causing harm than have to admit their worldview isn't the only one. The "golden rule" shouldn't be "treat others how I wish to be treated".... It should be "treat others how they wish to be treated". We wouldn't want people ignoring all our wishes and boundaries and treating us in ways that make us uncomfortable just because they prefer being treated differently - so why the heck would we subject others to that treatment? People stating they find comments and judgement about their appearance objectifying isn't political correctness. It's stating how they wish to be treated, and ignoring it is violating their clearly stated boundaries. Arguing with them over it is invalidating at best, and leads them to believe that they'll be coerced into violating other boundaries. All folks are doing by being dismissive of "political correctness" is showing that they are not respectful of boundaries and are likely to be unsafe.

@lonelytauros I'm cancelling our session. I want my deposit back
@deathwish
I’ll be honest and say I was a little upset but I feel much better now>
Thank you for your honesty
@sunnysideup Uhhhh not sure how you missed my point that we’re saying the same exact thing. I’m saying dudes will hear back from pros more often and most likely get to meet. It wasn’t until @WestsideMarc challenged me that pros are often just as likely to be flakes than non-pros that my point became an issue.
Great reminder for why I didn’t engage on the boards for over 6 months. It’s a waste of time when I’m going to be constantly misunderstood even when I’m speaking in plain elementary level English or summarizing trends I’ve seen here since I joined in 2020.
Your comment, for reference:
I don’t hear of too many people complaining about not hearing back from pros? “I can only hire pros” is definitely a non stop complaint. Anywho my pro response rate is around 50%, which I think is really good. My Enthusiast response rate is way less, maybe 5%? But basically from my perspective it’s like 10 X more likely that a pro responds and probably 30X more likely it leads to a cuddle
Btw, to the original OP @deathwish your attitude and dismissiveness in this entire thread is why you may not hear back from women here. 🚩 🚩 🚩galore, man.
@TheMidnightOwl, do you have an actual argument?
It's more about how you approach the cuddler in your initial message
