I don’t think that’s intentional, I think it’s just the way the site cropped his photo for the preview. If you click on his pic, it shows a full body shot.

I think the point being illustrated so well here is that perhaps we should not judge people by first glance at their pics....
That said, a lot of the comments here read a lot like: "What is with all the short skirts showing knees these days? Men will think they're loose!" "I would never leave the house wearing THAT.
