I was once blocked by someone who sent me a painting that was horror themed. I complimented it and called it ‘scary’. They got offended, I asked them what I did wrong and apologized. They said that they didn’t like that I used that word scary, and after sending that message, blocked me.
Ever since then, when someone’s blocked me on the internet I’m not going to try to argue with them about it. Because we are just one word away from being disliked. It isn’t worth investing energy into someone that judgy, imo. But good to know in your case it looks like it was a misclick
