After 10 days in NYC (working) Checking in online to fly home tomorrow in seat 2A. I miss my ocean
Someone calling themselves an "elder millennial" trying to claim Wayne's World as a millennial event when it CLEARLY belongs to GenX both in theme and timeframe, as it was peak regular old millennial behavior. Made me laugh. 🤣🤣
Looking back at today is making me smile. Everyone in my chaotic home got along (chronic squabbling is an absolute emotional drag) and my visit to my mom in her memory care home was great. She knew me, stayed awake, and sang along with all the music I played her. I felt appreciated on many levels and am smiling while typing.
KnightlyCuddles, if I were flying to a home in MALIBU, CA I would be smiling too.
Being finished with graduation weekend for my kiddo, and finally being able to rest! 🥱
And that my kiddo graduated 😁🥳
@achetocuddle Yeah I feel very lucky to sleep to the sounds of waves at night.
This morning I am smiling because the top came off the top of my latte on a sip and miraculously the foam and coffee missed me altogether as it cascaded out
A little walk in the forest had me smiling today. 🌿
Tomorrow I'm going back for a 7 hour day hike.
I won a prize at my dairy co-op and got a bonus gallon of milk, and a half-pound of fresh mint!! I'm ridiculously excited.
My mother returning home after a major heart attack over the weekend.

Thanks @TheFunCartel . I didn't realize how close I came to losing her until I talked to her surgeon . It was really close .
@pmvines As someone who has had open heart surgery (no heart attack fortunately) I never realized how close I came until they told me post op. I only caught it because in three months I went from being able to bang out 60 minutes or more on the treadmill to being unable to take another step after 10 minutes. No pain, not out of breath, just a fatigue that seems to have your body pinned against all your will. But I was rushed from getting a couple of stents put in to taking an ambulance ride to a major hospital because I had 98% or more blockage in four arteries. Had a quadruple bypass. I didn’t have time to even think about it.
It’s the bills after the surgery that that give you a heart attack.
This makes me smile every day
Losing something important killed the vibe of the whole day until a friend took me to get free smoothies. They were doing some kind of special today from 2-7. Made today worth it. ☺️
Did an 8 hour hike. It was a beautiful day.
Knowing that $gme is going to the moon next month. You better cuddle with me or you’ll be sorry 🦧
The girl at the local store telling me she really loved my hair. I hadn't put curl cream in it after my shower, and thought it looked rather wild, so that was sweet and very unexpected. 👩🏻🦱

@SunsetSnuggles Thank you , I appreciate it ! Very scary for all involved . Women don't experience same symptoms heart attack as men . So she didn't know she was having one and had symptoms for 9 days before going to emergency dept . If I had known I could have helped intervene sooner . Thanks .
@pmvines No women do not experience it the same. This is also true for many types of cancer.
Today, I partook in my monthly Big Mac. The sauce always makes me smile.
But today's Big Mac was more about pausing for a moment of remembrance.
