Why is there such a disparity in price? (Price Mega Thread)

  • Who would want to cuddle someone who seems bitter, resentful, entitled and angry? I’m always wondering about this when I read a lot of the posts on the forum .
It seems like frustration because you don’t have the power to change other people. Spend your time doing something that makes you happy. It’s a choice (and a good distraction).

Angry incels will always lack insight into why people don't want to interact with them because unfortunately that anger and lack of insight will leave them unable to change

  • Imagine using a community building site to try and tear down community in the name of community building anti-capitalism. 🙄😂

As someone noted on here in another topic, your CC resume is largely what you post on the forums. Potential cuddlers see your posts. If you come across as angry, bitter, or entitled, you might as well pack it in, you won't be getting anyone cuddling with you. No one needs that energy around them.

  • This guy gonna get banned lol

@wilderdude lol one can hope 🤪

  • What a leap to make.

Dating and capitalism are not mutually exclusive.

  • The OP is upset and complaining about being their post being flagged.

The bullet points used are incorrect and most likely wasn't flagged by a mod. Mods react to what members flag for the most part. They don't have time usually to find all the new issues. They have to vet the ones flagged by members. I'm sure we keep the few of them very busy.

The accusations are flat out wrong. This isn't a dating site, maybe why they were flagged. The site has no jurisdiction over prices. Another reason they were probably flagged.

Since this is a capitalist country, we still have the right to choose who we are patrons of.
Don't like their price, move on. Don't like the attitude, move on. It would help to be patient, kind, and respectful to everyone. The people who don't charge can see how you act as well as hear from their friends. The outrageous entitled outburst only hurts the one doing it.

    Just my .02

  • Why is dating even mentioned? 🤷‍♀️

@JohnR1972 No, there were not any red flags in our texts other than being super enthused over me coming back. When I arrived I had to cancel because a client wanted to go to dinner and bring his key officers of the company too. This is part of my job and quite often how deals get finalized and done. I offered to reschedule with her though. I came back to the hotel at 11 pm and I had to be out the door at 7 am the next morning. She was waiting in the parking lot when I returned at 11. I explained that this was not a good look but I still said I will spend an hour with her. She insinuated that I had someone else now in LA and I said that is not true but even if it was I would tell her. She showed up the next two nights as well! I canceled my final night and moved to another hotel to which she bombarded me with texts. The story is pretty predictable—she wanted to know how often I stayed at that hotel and why did I lie about being there all week. I blocked her number and stopped staying at the hotel.

About a year later I get a text from her on a different number (she had tried two other numbers before so this was not new) saying this is what I was missing and could have had if I had been “loyal”. It was a pic of a sexual nature. She moved back to Michigan and I have not seen her on the site in Michigan since then. Yes, she was an enthusiast and no, she did not strike me as being mentally unwell until that night at 11 pm.

You just never know. It was weird because she never wanted to reschedule—she just started showing up like she wanted to catch me with someone.

  • @TheFunCartel - glad you were able to end it with no serious damage done. That creeps me out some and reinforces why I am so cautious about sharing my real world identity prior to meeting someone in person (usually multiple times) before sharing too many personal details. I’ve only hosted 1 cuddle partner after I really got to know her. There are a couple others I know well enough I would be willing to host but they live several hours away.

  • Eat the rich! Until I become rich then never mind :-)

  • @JohnR1972 Yes, being careful does help. Luckily for me she did not know much about my employment because the company I work for is in Michigan. I think if she did know she could have made my life miserable by showing up there even though I am a remote worker in Kansas City.

  • @JUICYLUCY Is that true? Or is @TheFunCartel making this all up?

  • I am of the opinion that those who complain about capitalism are those who have failed at it.

  • @Spud424 That is being dismissive of those who have historically not been given any advantages and have been discriminated against. Seems like a high school view of things—I am popular and you’re a loser. Is that really how we want to be? And it really isn’t true.

  • @Spud424 Agreed.

And, given the imperfections of capitalism, they have yet to suggest another economic model that has produced as high of, or higher, standard of living for so many people.

  • Yay… another post about hating the pros…
But yes (I’m all for eating the disgustingly wealthy) 😂😂

  • Without the so-called "disgustingly wealthy" and their usually eccentric ways, nobody else would have been able to invest in so many endeavors that have resulted in many, if not most, of the modern conveniences and advancements we enjoy.

  • Do you guys want me to bring BBQ sauce?

This either-or thinking is way over the top. Just because someone criticizes capitalism doesn’t mean the baby was thrown out with the bath water. You can have both capitalism and acknowledge its many shortcomings and the need to improve the system. To not is to embrace the status quo which is anathema to any system.

  • This discussion of capitalism reminds me of the famous quote about Democracy made by Winston Churchill on November 11, 1947.

“Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.”

I feel the exact same way about capitalism. It has MANY flaws but I will still take it any day over the alternatives.

  • edited June 2024

@JohnR1972 You do not necessarily need alternatives if you address the flaws. And Churchill was eloquent but often very wrong.

But he was definitely what GB needed in WW II

Interestingly, this guy has zero karma haha. Who's not getting cuddles?

  • @jbob2024 You should stop posting.

  • [Deleted User]FriendlyFemale (deleted user)

    Yeah, @jbob2024 Quit being mean.

  • I'm not seeing anyone justify how I'm wrong. I mean someone telling others they won't get cuddles but they get zero themselves. Am i right?

@Sheena123 I like hot sauce. Lao Gan Ma is not bad too. Even John Cena agrees! You don't see me! :)
