Stolen Money

How do you report someone if someone kept the money but never or scheduled for the session? Is there a way to get them blocked?

You can report it to a mod. Did you schedule a session and they didn't show up? I have to assume that was the case ... there would be no reason to pay a deposit if you hadn't actually made a booking.

Mods can contact the pro and scope out the situation.

It wasn't a scheduled session since I had sessions with her prior to it through the website, so we had planned it for the future one. I just want to make sure it doesn't happen with anyone else because she might be doing the same with others. How do we contact the mods here though? Is there an option on the profile?

You cheated yourself sir. Stick with the site for booking and you have the protection of the site. You made the choice to book off site, then pay the fee ahead of time (why?)

  • Yeah you kind of messed up TxSnug75 without using the site to do the booking you're most likely SOL. Can report/leave feedback but seeing as how you didn't do things the usual way i'm not sure how much traction you'll get.

Yes, if the booking was not made through the site you have no way to get your money back.

  • Unfortunately karma is not allowed for unbooked sessions with pros.

While some may see rules as restrictive, they actually do provide protection.

  • Sounds like the OP is the victim of his own choices.

Mistakes are costly and we all have paid for them. Unfortunate bad choice here.

  • Sorry, @TxSnug75 but you were scammed. Please report the pro.
Not everyone knows the site doesn't monitor profiles. I regularly report pros who have in their profile that you have to pay a deposit in order for them to schedule. And I have reported several pros (and faux pros) with their Venmo, CashApp, etc. info right in their profile.
As I just had to point out to another established member here, that means clients have their off-site contact info prior to scheduling, which WE know is against the rules, but was it in the pro's profile that he had to pay a deposit before scheduling?

@starrynitecuds Since this is someone he had cuddled with before, it sounds like it might have been a verbal agreement between the two of them.

  • @WriterGF yes, I appreciate you bringing that to my attention. Unfortunately, I started my post earlier (CD was the last reply) and when I came back in, I didn't see he updated with more info about his situation.

I thought victim blaming is not allowed here

Since you already booked a session through the site, leave a karma or edit the existing one. If the goal is to make sure it doesn't happen to others, there is really no other way to make it happen. Reporting to the mods will not lead to a warning on her account that is visible to all. mentioning the name here is against the rules. honestly, even a karma will likely be removed if this is mentioned.

  • Faux Pros are quite the scandal.

You're almost better off dealing with your local Pro Mafia if you're not playing above board.

  • I don't prepay at all

  • @TxSnug75
You can make a report by going to someone's profile, clicking the three dots on the right below their picture and username, and clicking Report from the dropdown menu.

Hey guys, just seeingf the traction this has gotten and appreciate all the feedback and lesson learnt. I did contact try the mod and leave feedback. Let's see if any action is taken. Honestly, I did it more out of the good faith and the repo we had and since it wasn't a big money for me, but I guess they didn't respect that. Later, I just felt cheated although I did send her without her pushing on the prepay. Never mind, thank you.

@Auroradream Man, some victim blaming going on here. Yeah the guy made a poor decision by trusting someone but blaming someone for getting scammed is poor behaviour.

  • @JasonCuddles the issue at hand is that he did the booking in kind of a 'backdoor' way, not through the site. So it's kind of on him.
