What is the least expensive (currently), not including discounts for multiple hours? Seems $60/hour is the lowest I'm seeing in this area (san Fran/Bay Area, CA.)
@jackwallace If I take my kid to a ballgame, which lasts 2.5 hours on average, it's going to cost about $500 when all is said and done (when you count in food, etc.) And the game might go well or it might be a blow-out, so quality is up in the air. But if we both like going to games, it's not bad economics - it's pursuing a hobby we enjoy. I know hobbyists who spend way more than a couple hundred here and there doing what they like to do, so to them, it's not bad economics.
Just as an aside, I saw a pro on here today who is charging $175 an hour, which would probably be too high for me (and some other people). But she also has 119 karma, so she is getting business from someone. Why should she charge less, under those circumstances? How is that better economics for her?
You set your budget and you do what you can afford. But it's pointless to complain because you can't afford everything. And yes, I understand the people who say cuddling should be free because touch is a basic human need - but so is food, water, and shelter, and we have to pay for that. At least with cuddling, you have a choice about what you want to pay and if you want to pay at all.
It's all too high. Less seasoned pros as well and more fly by night profiles who only offer 'virtual' cuddling. WTH.
For dudes who have been here for a while, there's no reason to continually--over and over--bring up the topic of "outrageous" fees.
You can set your price filter so that Pros engaged in "highway robbery" don't show up in your search.
"Good economics" starts with good search filtering. This isn't hard.
If instead, you're rightly upset that your dollar is worth less and less, then a much better job needs to be done choosing those in charge of monetary policy. Pro cuddlers are not responsible for inflation.

They come to CC because they’re hurting and they want an easy quick fix. I get it but the world doesn’t work that way. Change yourself and stop trying to change other people. So imo, anyone who is charging more than $200/hr, regardless of location, is most likely offering more than platonic sessions. Look carefully at those profiles. When they use words like “in call or out call” only that should be a red flag. After the back pages of Craig’s list got shut down, a lot of those types of pros flooded these sites offering those services under the guise of platonic sessions. The profiles and wording should be a dead giveaway
I've seen someone start at $50 for genuine cuddles then jump to $300 because people kept pushing boundaries.

I charge 200 for 3 hours. I also have a 3 hour minimum usually because of this. I feel like it's hard to cuddle for just an hour and to be honest most of the people I've met that want to book only one hour are usually looking for a little something more. You need enough time to be able to talk or listen to music or watch a movie together.
@SweeTea thats a big assumption to make! I think for some cuddle providers it’s a matter quality over qauntity. They are trying to deliberately price out most cuddlers w their prices in order to prioritize a specific clientele. In addition, there are cuddlers who are licensed therapists and masseuses and want to leverage that skillset on CC

I know for fact there are licensed masseuses on this site but I doubt there are many licensed therapists trying to leverage their skill set on CC as they would probably be risking their license by doing so. Most state licensing boards would not look favorably at a licensed therapist being so physically intimate with a client.

Hosting, you should get more. More bookings through the site, you should get more. More months/years, you should get more. Good karma,* you should get more.
If you have paid for cuddles, you’re a consumer. And if you have cuddled multiple times, you know you overpaid for some experiences and underpaid for others.
*Karma: The site needs an authentic way to leave reviews. Not all reviews are happy 5-star, and if anything negative is said, a fight ensues.
The site's lack of expectations/boundaries in pricing hurts everyone. Yes, similar to Uber, top-rated individuals should have preferential treatment.
The site is a good money maker for the owners. The rules are what they are, so a blind eye can be turned to questionable behavior. Get banned and set up a new account. Trafficking websites have been shut down, and I can tell you firsthand that there has been pressure on me more than once to do more than platonic cuddling, as stated here. The way this site acts, in some regards is similar to trafficing sites. Better boundaries is good, unless you own the site and prefer the revenue from status quo.

I am kind of new to this and I don't charge a ridiculous rate for cuddles. However, I think it was said best that we pay from food, water, clothing, and shelter so why is it unreasonable to pay for cuddles? I am personally a Reiki Master and made $85.00 for a Reiki Session that included no physical touching.
I like to make people smile and feel love and appreciated. That's why I am here. I appreciate it when someone wants to experience platonic intimacy and I also coach my clients on dealing with their problems or celebrate their successes with them. I'm loving and cuddly by nature and like the idea of helping people in this way.
Any $200+ or $300+ per hour is suspicious, that is the rate for other type of service
I've seen upwards of £150ph around here, and one £250ph. To each their own I guess...Personally I'm not sure if I can handle more than £100 for 90 minutes these days, especially on top of any travelling costs.
@JohnR1972 There are plenty of pro-cuddlers who utilize their psychology background. There isn't anything that prevents you legally from doing both whatsoever. The pro that I saw for years before becoming a pro myself was a therapist.
@meetmichellerenee (on instagram) is also a previous therapist-turned-cuddlist/touch therapist. She does intimacy and touch coaching, and explicitly charges more since she has a background in trauma care that is very helpful in the type of clients she deals with. I'd argue all the best pro cuddles I've had the pleasure of engaging with have had a trauma-informed background with psychology or therapy in some form. It's not like they're advertising their services to their pre-existing therapy clients at whatever practice they work at.

And if it does matter to you then it'd only be fair to respect what someone deems a fair price to touch their body. Frankly, if this site started telling people what their bodies were worth based on arbitrary metrics like you described, I'd be concerned. I hosted for over 4 years on here and stopped after I had a client who stalked and came to my home without a session booked. This was a repeat vetted client. As such, I no longer host in my home, and am saving for a space to host in. If I was paid less for not hosting because of an action entirely out of my control, I'd just leave the site. As would many others. Unless they offered insurance of some kind for pros, its not like the site paid for my legal fees in getting a restraining order issued.
There's plenty of free options. The search tool literally has a "hide pros" button. People want to be entitled to a specific type of person but also want to be entitled to decide how much that person can charge for the luxury? The audacity is halarious honestly.
It's true that some cuddlers have a mental health background in some form or fashion. Nobody should be seeing a cuddler for mental health therapy and cuddlers should not be promoting mental health therapy through cuddling. Therapeutic does not equal therapy and cuddling and mental health therapy are two completely different things, and it will risk over promising and under delivering which is potentially harmful, unethical. Cuddling is great and I wholeheartedly recommend doing it often if that's your thing, however it risks becoming a sort of snake oil when it's promoted as a type of pseudo mental health therapy.
Personally, I think in many ways the Western approach to professional fields tends to over-compartmentalize specialties, often overlooking the inherent and beneficial overlaps between them.
While it's true that cuddling is not a substitute for mental health therapy, having a background in psychology or therapy can significantly enhance the quality of care provided by professional cuddlers.
In many cultures and holistic practices, healing and well-being are approached from an interdisciplinary perspective. The western tendency to strictly categorize these specialties can sometimes miss the opportunity to integrate different therapeutic modalities effectively.
While I agree with you that it's important to maintain ethical boundaries and not conflate cuddling with therapy, professionals can clearly delineate their roles while utilizing their comprehensive skill sets, and this skillset can be reflective in their pricing. Transparency with clients about the services being provided ensures that no false promises are made regarding therapeutic outcomes.
Rather than viewing this overlap as problematic, it should be seen as an opportunity to provide more holistic care that transcends rigid professional boundaries, and this quality difference between someone with vs. without that background is a valid justification for higher pricing in my opinion.
I think I've seen only as high as $200. It's to high for me but others may be willing to pay. If the cuddler is charging higher than what I feel is reasonable then I just keep it moving.

Heh, I see that kind of inflation at my grocery store routinely. In the past four years, I've seen a typical good quality loaf of bread go from $2.99 to $5.99. Likewise, sandwich meat at the deli counter used to be $4.99 to $9.99 a pound depending on what you were getting. Now the prices are from $8.99 to $15.99 per pound.
Clearly, the pro in question just wants to be able to afford to fix up good sammiches, right? :-)
