I think with legalization and regulation it will definitely become more normalized. Nothing beats the connection you feel while cuddling after consuming cannabis!

I've never been to something like this before, and yes, I might be cautious, but I would like to think that I would be in the safety of a small group of like minded people. Maybe if everyone were to get there at the same time and get to know each other, and their boundaries shared, before and while we begin to partake, would help the party/sessions along. Then, I feel everyone would kind of have each other's backs... Maybe have a mix of equal ratio of pros to cuddlees who would like to participate would make it safer. Maybe the pros could meet first to discuss the boundaries, maybe have the pros do a sesh alone first... I'm in Southern California, if anyone has a host location, I'd be down to getting together. I think there's already a few of us, lol.

Nope, not interested in cuddling under any mind-altering substances, legal or not. Never know who might add something to increase the potency and knock down some inhibitions (which happens more than is ever reported at bars and parties.) Honestly, I couldn't see anyone sanely suggesting that, knowing the boundary-pushing that's mentioned constantly here.

3 years late to say heck no. The foundation of cuddling is consent. Any mind altering substance affects your ability to mindfully consent. Would you cuddle somebody and expect legitimate consent when they are drunk? It is the same thing
Being drunk and being high is definitely not the same thing….
Any type of inebriation blurs the lines of consent so I'm context of a cuddle party consisting of interwebs strangers it's a bad idea. Even not necessarily platonic parties I've, ahem, heard of require that you are sober for this reason. Can't imagine why a cuddle party would be different.
