You can find enthusiast women on this site. I have. But it's difficult for two related reasons. Firstly, the number of men vastly outnumbers the number of women. Secondly, the women are swamped by the sheer volume of messages they receive. This prompts many to leave shortly after joinging, even if none of the messages were inappopriate. And if you're a woman, you don't have to wait very long for an inappropriate message - you'll get some sooner or later. All this makes the pool of women even smaller.
The sheer statistics mean that most men will never find a woman cuddle buddy, which is why the forum defaults so quickly to advising men to seek a professional. And yes, the OP is right - lots of men join seeking a cuddle buddy, and instead end up hiring professionals. I reiterate that this is not in any sense a 'second best'. Cuddling with a good professional is just as good and in some ways better. I have considerable experience of both.

I am not looking to cuddle men from my profile either, though that doesn’t mean that I haven’t or am unwilling to. That setting determines who will see you in their search results (in addition to who shows up in yours).

@Sooson Just about the only enthusiast women who have written me back (that are anywhere near my area which I usually have at 100 miles) have ended up subsequently getting banned after one or two messages (nothing they wrote to me is indicative of banning, so no idea why they get banned), so I can't really say, and am not the best person to judge what someone else's experience may be like. I suspect I'm at the lower end of the bell curve (there has to be someone I suppose) when it comes to success at getting responses.
@Vocalist100 that's most likely an untagged pro. Someone who doesn't have the status or pay the website but still asks you for money. They get banned pretty quickly.

Whilst I am saddened that pro cuddlers even exist , I am not surprised. Nothing is sacred in this world. I hope that changes. I am however amused that men here are kinda forced to be open to connecting with other men due to the shortage of women. It wont hurt to open your heart chakra and discover male platonic intimacy. A lot of it is that some women don’t want to share their time and bodies with strangers unless there’s an incentive. They get to decide. Have men generally wanted women’s bodies for their own comfort in some way? Do all women feel so needy? Not sure I could make such a statement either way. Not even really about capitalism but more about women using their nurturing as a way to earn $$. I guess men do it also in many different fields. People figuring out how to earn a living doing something.

In my opening post I explained that the search function on the site returns an extremely small number of women
I did point out that the majority of men on this site are giving up on finding women partners and instead focusing of paid sessions...and people want to act like I never said it...this is why I created this thread in the first place 🙃
@night_songs While it is a reasonable conclusion that most men here will have given up on finding an enthusiast, the only evidence we have either way is what's posted in the forums ... and the forums represent an EXTREMELY small percentage of the membership. While I don't disagree with you, none of us can really base anything off of what's posted here.

0.5% of active monthly CC users posted at least once during that time period and about 20 users were responsible for 75% of all posts.
Concluding ANYTHING based on posts in this forum would be the equivalent of predicting the outcome of a national election by asking your neighbor who they are voting for.

I have not scraped data from CC for several months. FWIW, you don’t even have to be a member of CC to scrape data as the forums can be read by the general public and everyone’s profile is visible to the general public unless you turn that off in your profile settings.
I have pulled data about CC from another subscription website where I routinely pull data from. I know traffic to this site is plummeting. Here is the breakdown of total CC site visitors, world wide, for the past 4 months. These are TOTAL visitors / page views, not UNIQUE visitors so a few hundred people looking at a lot of forum threads or member profiles could be responsible for several hundred thousand page visits.
2.0 million visitors in August 1.6 million visitors in September 1.5 million visitors in October 1.4 million visitors in November
I understand i don't blame you. I just sometimes have morbid curiosity about such things. Like it's pretty interesting the visits have gone down so much, that's a huge change.

@JohnR1972 I have advised many men who have reached out to me with limited or BLANK profiles and photo galleries. I would politely suggest if they're not comfy about posting a personal pic of themselves, then post a meme or SOMETHING that interests them OR that shows who they are as a person.😁

@Calming_Hugs Great question. The website I use has that information but I only pulled a standard report which goes back 4 months. I would have to go back to the subscription site and change my search parameters to see how CC traffic is doing year over year.
